Very convenient, lacks functionality: I love the Dayforce app, it's a great, convenient way to manage schedules for work hours. It's fast and works really well, you can even get push notifications for when hours change so you don't miss anything. My only complaint is that the app has limited functionality compared to the desktop version, otherwise it works perfectly.
Keeps getting worse and worse. They renamed a bunch of functions, and keep changing the layout to make it more confusing. Attendance is now "Timesheets" which is stupid cause there is already a tab called "Timesheet". Not to mention it doesn't even work anymore. Used to show all scheduled employees neatly and concisely. Now it's a jumbled mess and the times aren't even accurate. Gives punch warnings for things that don't actually have errors. 3 months ago this app was great. Now it's not..
Total garbage. Finger print authentication is so sensitive and constantly locks me out of the app. Screen sizing is awful, access to reports is awful. This is one of the worst apps I've ever used in my life and hope my company switches. Would give 0 stars if it was an option.
Ever since I updated the app recently it has not allow me to save my password like it use to and the biometric scan doesnt work as well. Plus after I initially updated the app, it was wiggling out on me. So I had to uninstall and reinstall the app, and put all the info back in. Its has been more of a headache now then before the update.
I'm so frustrated that it doesn't save my log-in and every few months I get locked out. I use the correct password (I know because I screenshoot it everytime I get a new one) BUT it keeps telling me it's wrong!!! This is the third time now that's happened!
Dayforce app used to work basically ok (would rate maybe 3 stars due to bouncing to internet browser to "verify", being slow, frequent log ins, etc.) now suddenly does not work at all. After uninsalling/reinstalling 3 times, Client Support thought I was lying about the issue and had to verify the problem with my manager. I need this app in order to punch in/out at work, view my schedule and request time off. I hate it here.
The last update on Mar 3rd doesn't work!! I'm obviously not the only one having this issue judging by the other comments. App opens to the D screen, goes black, goes white and then ZERO. Nothing happens but blank screen after the start up home/D screen. Please fix this app.
Best employee portal ever it is easy to navigate user friendly. has all the information accessable to the employee in one app. There is no confusion you don't have to go to multiple sites to find things like requesting time off, payroll information, benefit information. paperwork you have completed for you job no email or having to download to save and any problems you have is but a tap away for help highly recommended for employers to get for sure
The App no longer opens on Samsung S21 Ultra. Friends using Apple products having similar issues. The app in its entirety is inconsistent in a multitude of ways. However most recently the biggest issue is that it'll no longer even open.
New Update is absolutely trash. Can't see coworkers for that day and can't see their contact info. Takes longer to get to parts of the app that used to take 1 button press. Absolutely horrendous update.
The app is absolutely terrible. It doesn't help that the company I work for relies solely on this app I stead of having an app especially for them. Complete joke! Freezes constantly, crashes etc.
I've been using this app for 4 years with no issues until recently. Every time I go to open it, I can't get past the loading screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times. When it gets like this, that's the only way I can actually get it to work.
Very disappointed with the new update. Is there any way to get the old "attendance" view back? It seems to have been replaced by "timesheets" which is not nearly as functional.
I haven't had any issues with this app until the recent update. I have changed my password 4 times because it will not save them and I cannot clock in when I get to work.
Unreliable (like now, error trying to sign in) Doesn't notify about payslip until after I've already been paid. "customise menu" doesn't work. Can't edit profile at all. Must go online to view full info. So what's the point of the app? americanised rubbish, "performance goals" for christ's sake..... Just want my payslip
Do not like the new update for time sheets. It used to be user friendly and allowed me to access staff schedules as well as authorize shifts in minutes. The new categories are unnecessary and time consuming to maneuver through.
App was great until the latest update. Timesheets has been rendered nearly useless in it's present form. Please revert to previous version.
This ap used to work really well. I haven't been able to use it the last 2-3 days. It authenticates and then just goes to a blank screen. I need it for work, so right now it is useless to me and has made things difficult. Not sure what happened to it.
This app has not worked on my galaxy s22 ever since the last update on 3/3/22. I finally got the app to work. I had to uninstall and then reinstall the app to get it to work.
Half the time it won't load or open. Then there's been a little of times where I've seen errors and glitches. This app is just to complicated & I really don't like it
I removed the app from my phone since it wouldnt open. I just downloaded it again and it keeps telling me the password is wrong. I log in via my company credentials but the app wont take them.
Like having the app on my phone. Don't like not being able to clock in if I need to work a shift that I am not scheduled. Emergencies come up and the manager can't always go in and fix the schedule to show a different shift. If there is a way to turn this feature off it would be nice.
Latest update broke the app so it no longer loads. Stays stuck on initial load screen with dayforce logo. Waited several minutes, force closed app, restarted device, waited several minutes more etc. App definitely broken so had to find previous version to downgraded. After downgraded app to previous version was able to continue using it as intended
Dayforce clearly gives the garbage beta version to android phones. For some reason the schedules page for managers sometimes changes to a random page of lists where you can't see any of the shifts assigned to your store and there's no way of going back to the proper viewing (as shown in the preview for the app in the app store) unless I uninstall and reinstall the app. Good idea, but your app still has way too many bugs.
