Days Counter

Simple and easy to use! So-called "in-app purchases" are actually just an option to donate to the developer, which I think is a great touch. One suggestion for a feature, include an option when choosing a date in the past to determine whether the days counted are exclusive or inclusive, i.e. whether that date is "day zero" or "day one" respectively. With that feature, I'd bump this rating from 4 (though honestly it's more like 4.5) to 5 stars. :)

Basic app for a basic need. The lack of advertising makes it nice. Notifications would make it nicer. But I'd pay a few bucks to remove ads if recurring notifications could be added and customized. If those notifications could be linked to Google calendar it would be perfect. If Google calendar events had a counter then there would be no need for this app.

Does what it claims to do. Only 3 stars because when inputting long past events you have to scroll backwards, sometimes for decades. There should be an option to input dates by typing it in instead of scrolling forever. I was looking for an app to replace the "days since" app that is only available on iOS. This app is the closest I could find but still not as good.

I loved this app, it was easy to use and understand. But Ive tried to delete a date I don't need anymore for about 2 weeks, and every time the app crashes. I can no longer change the order of my special dates. And the widget I have on my home screen doesn't update until I force it by opening the actual app.

I really wanted to like this. It's simple to use and easy to understand however when using the widget the text disappeared within the background, leaving only the number visable to me. I would like to have an event share function to display a single event count down or up. I didn't use it long enough to see if there were alarms. I didn't see much in the way of settings or customisation. All of that said, I liked what I saw as a basis for development.

This is a fantastic replacement for Dayz. What kills that long obsolete but great app is the latest version of Android. Used to be you could hold the back button to access the menu for doing backups etc., but not anymore, so forced a replacement. Days Counter is EXCELLENT. Can color code events, sort them in various ways, can back up and restore its data. No ads either. THANK YOU!

Good but basic. White background is plain, no different background options for each event to have a choice from. Cant choose to include minites, seconds, weeks and months in to the event time can only choose one. No personalisation tools. On the plus side, the app is add free and simple to navigate.

Works great! Thank you for making it free! I would like to be able to change the background color on the widget. The white background is a little too bright for my eyes. Still 5 stars for it being a great app, especially for free!

Very functional app..works well. I recommend it for sure...however would like so see the following improvements....1st is date entry...really awkward to enter dates from years earlier as you have to step back month by month...VERY awkward. 2nd is when choosing a custom colour...the app forgets your colour after first use...so you cannot easily use it to colour code your entries...unless you just want to use default colours. Other than that...I recommend this app.

This app is simple and easy to use. At first the widgets worked fine, but now they don't update automatically, so you have to open the app every day for it to update the count. It is a problem if you are not aware of the days that have passed and you trust what the app shows you.

Great way to count days. The drawback is that it's hard to enter a date. Once all the information is typed, the keyboard hides the checkmark button, so it can't be pressed. If I back out, it erases all the info I just typed. The checkmark button should be made floating, so it can float above the keyboard.

It does exactly what I need it to do, and it is (very generously) free. Thank you dev! Chose to donate because this app has helped me quit drinking, and I really appreciate the simplicity of the app, and lack of ads or instusions. Definitely worth it to throw the dev a few bucks.

Exactly what it says on the tin! Plus you can change a lot of stuff, if you want just days since, or days to, or months, weeks, years, you can do all of it. Iade a widget that shows how many days since I was born just for fun, then I have one that shows years/months/weeks/days since starting this job I love, and I could see all kinds of other uses, if I knew exactly when I quit smoking I would throw that on there, and it could be a great motivator if you are trying to do something like that c:

It crashes every time I try to delete a counter. I sent an email via the contract me link in the app but haven't heard back. Once it's fixed it'll get 5 stars cause this is the only issue I've ever had

I like this app a lot, it does what I want, namely it lets me put a countdown to some of my biggest deadlines on my phone as widgets. The main issue for me is I can't delete items, when ever I try to delete something the app crashes, it would be 5 starts if not for that.

Great app, it does exactly what it should. The only negative comment - when you enter dates from years ago the only way to do it is to go back one month at a time. Needs a better year selection function integrated with the calendar.

Worked great.. for a while. Can't delete old events it just crashes. Can reset by wiping the data/cache within android settings>app. Only way to get rid of old events.

Easy, simple, and intuitive. My only concern is probably the lack of event repetition (e.g. a reminder every 90 days or so for seasonal projects), but for a completely free and ad-less app, this is definitely high on the list.

Exactly what I was looking for, perfect. There's the option to donate, which I undoubtedly will, but, thankfully, there are no ads. The layout, presentation and design are outstanding. A truly excellent user friendly app.

Very, very, very good as far a functionality. LOVE the sorting! It's the main reason I changed. A search feature would be great, but the sorting helps that. Assigning pictures would be great also. Will definitely be keeping this app!

I am very happy with this app. It works great and I really like having the Widgit as well. The only thing I would like to have is the ability to change how the time from/until is formatted. Currently it is in YY/MM/DD format. I would rather have DD/MM/YY. However it is just as useful with the current fornat.

Excellent app. This is what I was looking for. No ads is the best feature of this app. I am looking forward these feature in future if possible: 1. Auto sort events 2. Reminder 3. Description on tiles (Below event title) 4. Image/Icon for the event 5. Optional sticky notification of upcoming event.

This is one of the best apps of its kind. You can customize it and put as many reminders as you want with their titles, dates, and type of reminder. Weeks, months, days, and years, are all included in the customization. Worth donating to. No ads included in the app whether you donate or not. Quite surprising and very generous of the author. A real gift.

Almost perfect. It be cool if you could also set it in hours but being able to set what's shown (d/w/m/y) PER one is really awesome. And it's fully ad free? It's pretty nice, not perfect but it does all I need
