Days Left Widget

I've been using this for years on my htc evo, Now I put it on my new zte majesty phone & it won't go into my widgets. It goes into the app list & Won't run from the app list. I liked it because It lets me know how long till my grandson comes to visit. I was going to get the pro version, but it's no good to me if it won't work. Tried installing twics. Just goes into apps. Wth.

Days left is effective simple and lightweight. A clean widget that's easy too generate and edit. Id like to see options for ongoing countdowns ( like next pay day that happens the same time every month ) and the selection on icons could be helped ( think 4th of July and saint Patrick's not just Christmas and Halloween ) Overall great app. Would recommend download.

Edit... Changed from 3 to 5 stars. This small glitch has disappeared. Love it again. Enjoy the 1x1 widget for quick reminders and the 2x1 with room for more details for bigger events. -- Loved this until yesterday. Will change to 5 stars when fixed. The widget on the home screen stopped updating but if you click to open/edit the countdown is correct. Cancel or save to get back to home screen and the countdown is still stuck. This is the first days until widgets app I had because I need something quick and I've used it for a while. About a month I chose to switch it up to get prettier widgets, but none of the others work! I'm back to this one and although it's not the most attractive sometimes, it's my all time favorite. Would completely recommend.

UPDATE: although it's easy to use and get setup, it's buggy and doesn't update every day with the new number of days. I have to purposefully go in to "edit" it everyday and when I leave the editing screen and go back to the homepage THEN it will update. Kind of a pointless app because it doesn't work. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to no avail.

The app has a simplicity to it that allows it to outshine the competition by not offering glitchy borders and oversized icons, but instead proffers one small icon and a color, the basic look works wonderfully. The advertisements don't clutter the actual timer and the pro version is cheap and worth the money, though I have not paid for it myself, the Dev has done a marvellous job.

I'm using this widget to keep me focused on my smaller weightloss and exercise goals. The countdown helps me keep my struggles into perspective, knowing there are only a dozen days or so until my next goal and reward are reached. It's super easy to use and change my dates, if need be.

I had some family guest staying with me while seeking their next apartment. Except they get comfortable, so I would show them the app on a daily basis to rreminded them of the agreed Moving Day. Love this app, as a count down and reminder of things to come.

This app really helps you count down the days, plus it also lets you customize it with 3 different screens. To me I like the second screen best, you get to put up a little picture (which a lot comes with the app) on your countdown. I have a countdown going on right now for comic con 2013 with a small monkey picture. Its awesome!

Mine was oppo f1s, it didnt allow me to add more days counter for the same size, so its only allow me to have 3 counter (1 counter per size) :(. Back then when I used samsung grand this app was fabb, didnt took much room, but informative. Love for the older vers

The widget is very easy to use, and I like the ability to customize the appearance. However, it does not automatically update the counter on my LG G3. The counter stays frozen for days unless I edit the event & re-save it. This defeats the purpose of the app. Fix this bug and it'll be a great app.

Use for all sort of things. Easy to reset for managing cycles. Did try to use as a days in life info but max 4 digits show. Like big font used for numbers, maybe pro can set font smaller for 5 digit calendaring.

App is good serves the purpose well! The only issue i have faced is all timers reset back to default when phone runs out of battery and gets switched off, had to set everything back again from square one after restart. I tried doing manual restarts as well, in this case timers stay tuned as set.

I use this widget for everything! I have used it for about 3.5 yrs. I would be lost without it. If I could make suggestions it would be to add a few more colors as I color code everyone in my household and then holidays and events. Wish there were more color options. Also the icons need more options everything. dr appointments, school scedules, days off, picture day, field trips, birthdays, extended birthdays, holidays, class parties, important reminders. Vacation days sick days bill remind everything!

Its a really good app. I have used it to count down to my favourite films, birthdays and holidays. But the only problem is that to add any notes u have to download another app. If that was fixed and u could use the same app for all things than it could b amazing! X

this app lets me remember how many days left or since I had something important happen. I love it so that I don't have to remember 32 days til my brother comes home over seas or my big project is due in 12.days. all I have to do is look at my phone and I remember :)

I love this widget, its a must-have for me. It is one of my first downloads anytime I get a new phone. I just enjoy seeing it, it makes me smile when I see my birthday is coming up or a holiday or my vacation. It is simple and has Good customizable features, just like any good app or widget should. I hope there will be some more images in the future like an easter egg or turkey to put next to my count down, hint hint (; just download. You wont regret it.

It's great ! There's just one problem, it doesn't show the correct amount of days left. Having to click on it everyday to refresh is getting very annoying. Fix it and then I'll give it a 5 star.

I've tried many of these apps and found this one to be the very best, easy to set up and add to your home screen(s)..lots of nice colors and tweaks to make anyone happy. No more guessing how long till a birthday, doctor appt, Christmas, whatever. Just a few easy steps and the widget is set.

Having tried several other Countdown widgets in the Play store, I chose this one because it didn't badger me with in-app purchases for basic functionality. Tiny download, simple interface. A pleasure to use.

I love this app. It is so easy to use, and it is great for someone who forgets everything. The reminders are right where I see them everyday. It doesn't need any major improvements - it's darn near perfect! I have been using this for months, and haven't had a single problem with it - no glitches at all. I would absolutely recommend this app.

I don't know if this is a glitch or something, but every time that I get back on my tablet after turning it off, every single one of the events I posted on my main app page read 28 days until I get onto an app and then go back to my main app page, it goes back to the way it was before. What the heck?

Installed on Toshiba Thrive tablet. Works exactly as described. I love how you can choose from 3 different sizes to put on the screens. One tiny downside - the little icons you can add to the widget are REALLY tiny on the tablet screen, plus there's no option to get more or add your own. Otherwise a great choice!
