Days Since Free
Don't use your brain to remember when you last did something! Use that for more useful things like creating cool new music, or really hard maths. Use DaysSince to remind you of all the boring stuff!
DaysSince keeps a track of when you last did an event. Add an event, add a warning time, and it will remind you about it. The simple interface shows you a list of all the events and the number of days since you last did them. Each time you do the event just hit the reset button and you’ll always know when you last did it! All this and it will synchronise across all devices and backup to the cloud; without an advert in site.
DaysSince Features: -
Synchronised events. (This is why the permissions are needed) DaysSince uses your Google calendar to store the event data, meaning it’s always synchronised across all your devices. Hit reset on your phone, and your tablet will reflect the current data. You can also view your events online at https://www.google.com/calendar/.
Notifications. Setup a warning time for each event. The notifications will remind you (but not too much) that you have events which have reached their limits.
Simple easy to use interface. Click add to add, click the reset button (the blue one with the number of days on it) to reset. Couldn't be simpler.
Statistics. It keeps a track of the past resets and gives you a basic breakdown of data. Number of resets, shortest, longest and average.
Multiple calendars. DaysSince can use any accessible writeable Google calendar. You can create a new calendar just for DaysSince. DaysSince can switch between different calendars. Unfortunately DaysSince can’t create the calendar for you (may come in a later release). Create a new calendar online at https://www.google.com/calendar/ and you will be able to choose it (once synchronised) on your device.

Why use a calendar? If anything it should be optional to use it not primary. Why not have the last date in a csv and update the deltatime everytime the app is launched? Surely that would be a lot easier than annoyingly using calendar integration. [Edit] That didn't cross my mind at all actually. In that case it's not a bad idea to use google calendar at all. It does provide what it says it will and I'm not being destroyed by ads which id really nice! Great work!
I've use this app for years and it's been very good. Recently though, it's stopped notifying me of events that have reached their warning limit. I have the widget which shows "0" warnings, even though some events have exceeded their limit. If I then go into the app and see an event is 6 days beyond it's limit, then come out of the app, then the widget changes to show "6" in the box. Surely, this should happen automatically on day 1 of the limit being reached. Any fix for this?
Hello Developer 🙂 you have made a very nice and useful app, with a clear and intuitive interface, all the functionality I can think to need and straight forward workflow. Thank you. You clearly read and care about the reviews so I just wanted to say "hi" from a stranger who appreciates what you've done. People have given unfair reviews before and will again, but that doesn't change the fact that you made a good app, that in its own small way is making people's lives better.

I've just started setting up events, and it seems good so far! One bug I noticed is that you can't have two events with the same name in different categories, it would be very useful to me to have this feature
I enjoy Dayssince. Recently, I noticed that when I complete the task, it's no later longer placing it on my shared Google calendar. Not sure what may have changed.
Simple, uncluttered, and non-invasive. All I want to know is, "How many have passed since ." without layers of bells, whistles, and opportunities to mess up. This does exactly that.
Upon downloading, app crashed within seconds of opening. After killing the task and trying to reopen, app would not open and crashed immediately.
Simple, widget available on free version, but I wish you could delete categories. I have two categories, but it always opens to "No Category" which is empty.
Nice app to remember recurring events but few changes are must like the selection of starting day should be 0 or 1, option of seeing intervals etc
Pretty good . Kindly allow a negative number of days to warn. I use it for expiry dates of all kinds like aviation licences .
Installed Days Since app On Galaxy S8. Tried to create an event, App keeps saying "Days Since Has Stopped, Close App.". Tried multiple times.
Could be great if there was a widget for each counter showing the current count.
Please add a list of all the reset dates within the statistics. Other than that great app
Faulty widget. Cannot change to count something good....just says warning

This app does exactly what it says on the tin. Very simple and I love it. I have two feature requests: 1. In the settings, it would be nice to be able to change the sort order of my tasks. Alphabetical, Days Since (ascending or descending), Warning Days, etc. 2. It would be nice to be able to set a default warning limit (for example, maybe I want all my tasks to warn me after 7 days) and a default category. Right now the default seems to be a 0-day warning and Uncategorized. Love the app 💖
