A quite good noise detector. But I couldn’t get into how it works on my first try. I opened the app, tap the red button… And nothing happened… Then, I understand the app is already on as soon as you open it. It appeared I did it off when tapping the red button. I think this is not very convenient for easy acquaintance with the app. Everything else is quite good.
I measured sound frequency with this app in many places and cases. But sometimes I wondered if the results are really correct? I don’t have tools to compare its measurements. But sometimes I see the noise that annoys me is of low level when measured with this app. But, yes, I have a very ear for music.
As a frequency analyzer, the app is not as good as I supposed it to be. It shows not only peak levels but minimal and average levels for each measurement as well. But it doesn’t show you a frequency in reality. At least, in a standard version. I hope if I go to pro, I will have it.
Subscription not working. I've purchased a pro subscription in the hopes of being able to use this app ad-free but it can't seem to acknowledge the purchase. I've tried restore purchases but am faced with error every time. Please do fix this, there's no point of offering a subscription if it simply is not going to work. Thanks.
The average decibel level does not continuously update accurately! I recorded sounds levels in a quiet room at 20 dB for 59 seconds, and then played a 60 dB sound for a second. The average dB rating should be 20.7 dB. I've done this many times and the app reported average is always substationally higher...like 45 dB. That isn't even close to being correct.
The app is awful because of the abusive ads. You rotate the screen, a pop-up ad. Rotate it back, another one, then another one, and that one on the bottom too. GFY
I find this sound level meter good. But sometimes it annoys me with its in-app purchase offers because sometimes it doesn’t allow to do anything but only redirect me to purchase. Fortunately, this happens not every time and stops after closing and reopening the app. But still this takes one star away )
It's ok. Decent variety of features. It freezes on my Samsung S8+ but works again when I restart the app. Not having the pro version is extremely annoying, ads pop up about every 30 seconds while using the app or after almost every button you push in the app
In general, this is a good frequency analyzer. But it works differently on my two devices. On my phone, it runs ideally. But on my tablet, it sometimes may suffer a forced close. Maybe operating system requirements are to blame?
This sounds level meter is good in its measurements. And I like it enables you to record your measurements and save them. However, I can’t save them with custom names. If not that, I would be absolutely happy with the app.
I like this sound intensity meter. As a mobile app, it runs without failures. As a meter, it provides realistic numbers. As a free app, it seems not just offering a grace period but can always run in its free version.
It is a free decibel meter. Responsive to little changes in the sound volume. But I have never had less than 39 on my display. I wonder, how could it be? I mean, they write in the app description chart about 30 db to be a barely audible sound. But I sit in my room, it is very quiet, and I still have 39-40.
They are honest in writing this app has purchase offerings. And yes, sometimes they are a bit annoying. But the app works well and measures noise level well. And if one doesn’t want to upgrade, one can always use it for free. And this is good.
Purchased after seeing the ios app and its a complete let down. Unintuitive, hard to use and no real features. Definitely not worth the price.
It is a very clever idea to build a sound meter app! I like I have a tool to measure how noisy is the place. Sometimes it works without showing any purchase offers. But sometimes this adv pop ups.
If you try to save more than two it gets stuck in a childish purchase loop. I was able to delete them before to try again on forced close, but not again. Typically intelligent people work on great apps like this, but petty decisions are typically made by this with mediocre companies by way of middle management pushing a financial goal at any cost, typically the companies. I would give it 5 as a free app even if it only allowed me to save and overwrite these two explaining this limitation.
A good audio meter. However… I don’t need its location-saving feature… but if I would I still couldn’t use it. It seems to me this feature doesn’t work as it should. But I am quite pleased with this app regarding its other features
The main thing I like in the sound volume meter is the fact it has an integrated DB Chart and automatically outputs what your exact db level is similar to. But once it didn’t start and I needed to restart it. Though, I didn’t face such a problem again.
A highly useful app that contains a frequency analyzer of adequate accuracy. Has a nice interface and is very easy to understand how to use it. It contains some pop-up ads but I didn’t have any inconvenience with it.
I have tried almost all apps that measure sound levels and output the result in a form of decibel x chart. I needed a simple interface and measurement that are easy to read and understand. I got it in this app.
Laconic decibel meter. Easy to read and interpret. Sometimes shows ad pop-ups too frequently but there are times when ads are not shown at all. No doubt, it can compete with many others.
Very clear and simple does just what you need and is very fast to measure the changes like immediate. It does freeze up every now and again, but you simply close the app and open it again and it starts right back up.
Incredibly useful. Big tool for our local worship team. Allowing us to create a fun and comfortable musical experience. We like to push, but also keep some of our more sound sensitive congregation in mind. We understand loud can be uncomfortable. I use this app constantly finding that balance.
It is a good volume meter! Absolutely free and suitable for long-term use without the need to purchase an upgrade. But it is worth buying this upgrade because this opens access to even richer features of the app.
Recently started using this app as a bass tester. I’m happy with the results I manage to reach with this app. As for me, the bass is hard to calibrate and balance by ear. I mean, on the first try. This app helps me a lot.
When I had my old cellphone, the measurements were very bad. And I thought it was this sound level meter fault. But then I bought a new phone and install this app again to try it out. And… the measurements are great!
Definitely, this app is a good tool to Measure decibels, one of the best of its kind. Yesterday I found that you can tap a circle where the dB are shown and you will change the details displayed in this circle. For example, you can change PEAK to MAX, and, then, to AVG. I think it is a good idea to let the user focus on the details he needs the most!
