When you entered the credit card account for the first time, no problem. But after you go back to home page and tried to entered the credit card account again (and in subsequent tries), it would bounce right back out right to the ads in the home page. The ads are intrusive and interfered with the normal operation of the app. It's a disaster. Very bad mobile banking experience.
There's...so much to improve. The app frequently lags, too many services to choose, so it takes me a while to navigate and find the exact service I want. Because of the lags, having to tap open a services icon and closing it because it isn't the service I want is just plain frustrating. The app tells me to rate its services everytime i finish using it, and when prompted to give feedback, i can't even type my sentences properly because it does not allow any single punctuation to be used so
In a world of snappy apps with clean and easy to use interfaces like google pay, DBS banking app is somewhat slow, lacking in optimization and the screens could use a little decluttering Looking for something simple is has sometimes resulted in a google search. Pay now (a very common use case) can sometimes be pretty slow. Starting the app can take closer to a minute on an older phone.
Everything you need to do or check with is all there in this app . Within your finger tip to control or personalized your own style. Loging in and out is just a breeze ! Unlike the older app that always clashes down by itself surfing during peak periods. Nevertheless I really enjoyed the serenity while doing transactions online without the stupid robot keep asking whether you want anything else. complete useless app. i open it and it shows loading icon. i switch to another app on my phone and when i switch back, the loading icon disappears due to connectivity issues. then i click on log in and again loading icon shows up and does not show me the form to input my credentials. frustratingly, i delete all data and cache of the app. on restarting it shows loading screen again. what is the app doing even before enabling thr log in button. i am not able to use the app to check my account.
App is overall good for my need, but there is a persistent issue for some months now: i log in on the app using fingerprint, takes me to landing page where i see high level view on my account. I click to go in details of account or credit card, and it takes me back to log in... Very annoying. Using Samsung Galaxy note 9
Recent versions keep looping back to home screen when entering credit card section like what many people have experienced. Developer should look into issue and do more testing and please dont ask me for more info. The problem should be easy to replicate since so many users are affected. For now its zero stars if the rating allows.
One evening trying to sign up and already I hate this bank. Glitchy as hell - I have had to re-enter my detail OVER 20 TIMES as the app keeps crashing and it never saves my data. One I finally finish my application 'try again later'. Who developed this terrible app. Edit: In response to your comment - I have emailed the address above with exactly the details you requested., 3 days ago now without response. Shameful
Whenever I type comments, the words get thrown to the front and back. I have to switch to another keyboard to be able to type my comments again. You type an amount, it lags a little to register the $$$. The screen cannot hold one position, it just wants to move up after I hold a scroll.
The app is good. However, it is slow to update and respond. Example, when I change page, it takes 5 secs before I can scroll the new page. With today's computing power, this lag is unacceptable.
To be dropping support for Android devices pre OS9 is a bad move.Not everyone have a need to upgrade a fine old working phone running older OS. Consider releasing digibank Lite thats a stripdown ver app that have just basic of basic stuffs(check balance, xfers, token) n drop other fancy bling stuffs that can be done on web.
much better interface now as compared to previous versions. although sometimes the response when using certain functions still lags a bit. hope the team keep up on this standard of service! Thanks!
The app crashes constantly even though on the most updated version. To fix this, I have to delete storage data resulting in the need to re set up digibanking pin. Not great for such an essential app. Device: Google Pixel 4
Slow, unresponsive and too full of pretty graphics to work well. Too many bank advertisements distract from using the services. Functionality poorly laid out and difficult to find. I tried to email DBS Customer Service as they suggested below, but my email (containing nothing other than text) was blocked as spam! It's hard to help some people...
Same the same error since last year till April 2022! Timeout error and lag! Now I want to close the app & still hang there! I click on the dbs icon and it is still unresponsive as the previous session unable to close properly. Seriously the team is doing nothing to improve the app at all.
The estatements cannot be downloaded. The pdfs are opened in-app (cant use third party) but no option for download! Also, the Quicklinks slows down the bootup alot (almost 10s). I hope can turn them off but theres no option to do so, only simple/full mode (both slows down the bootup)
DBS has one of the most seamless online systems and the app always works smoothly. I just wish there was a way to avoid seeing immediately your balance. Especially when using paynow or scan to pay, I think they are working on it though.
DBS App overseas transfer needs to be improve, every time after long holidays, the transfer is still pending, why is this so, moreover, if the overseas transfer is rejected, there is no feedback on our transaction records whether the cash transferred has been debited back to the account that was transferred from. Not a very smart app at all...😵💫😤🙄
I have been using this app for more than 5 years but I realized that the touch of the application is not immediate but rather a short interval of pause abt 30s before it channel u to the services I requested. I raised this up because I thought it will change over time but it didn't. thanks
Best banking app! Love the NAV Planner with SGX/CDP connection. One request, it would be awesome to have a universal refresh button in NAV Planner to update all accounts under Assets and Liabilities at once. Now they are still auto updating at different days and not everyday, even for cash, which should be in sync with current data from the Home tab. Go DBS!
Latest app downloaded around 15 Apr 22 but app consistently has issues of log out on Android version. As soon has you authenticate your login and click on accounts, app logs out due to security reasons. This has been seen on last few versions also. Kindly fix a basic functionality
Useful once you know how but not intuitive. Adverts are more prominent than commonly used features like seeing your transactions which takes many clicks, not just one like other banking apps. Easier to use the online system.
Dear DBS, I really enjoy my banking experience with u. I'm going to rate it a 5star banking platform for being able to do any kind of transactions from home and online banking needs. I've not visited a POSB/DBS branch for many months as all services can be access from home and on digichatbot. Even if there's a small glitch in the system is not necessary to switch banks. The platform is very easy to use and I'm so used to it that I don't want another bank. Thankyou DBS for serving our needs!
Attempting to make some cross platform fund transfer. Already set up mobile digital token many times over past years. Every single time I try to make a transaction over qr code, it asks me to verify with my physical token which does not even have any battery now. Frustrating experience. Edit: emailed dbs bank and got a call from CS within hours. Turned out that it was a bugged feature. Manage to workaround with recommendation from CS staff Ash. Thank you!
Too many promotional notifications. This is supposed to be a proper baking app. Please get rid of the promotional notifications or separate them so people have an option to turn off the promotional notifications while keeping the useful ones.
I really, really love the app. If you compare it to other countries and other banks' apps, it deserves 6/5 stars BUT do I really have to rate the app, "my visit", after every single use?? Calling the use of an app "a visit" comes from an old mindset. Ads, ratings when I want to close it is too much!
The app works well and helpful. Really intuitive and well design. However, the quicklink always load slower than account and insight tabs and often results in a mis-click. Also, while I understand and agree that the token should be on only 1 device, the ability to check balance should be allowed on multiple devices. Thank you so much~!
