DC Transit : WMATA Metro & Bus Tracker App

Used to work well, but now I'm always missing buses because the app can't for the life of itself figure out what time the bus will arrive, and gets stuck on X number of minutes for 10 minutes on end while I get late for work

Just started using this app today, so far it's close to the "Dream WMATA+VICINITY" app I've designed in my head for years. Often my commute involves stringing together Routes between 3 - 4 different Transit companies. Usually the ART, DASH, FAIRFAX & WMATA. I need 5-6 Tabs open in 2 different Browsers. I'm constantly manually refreshing! It's madness!!! This application appears to do what I've suggested for years-connecting existing DBs, have an interface that displays & updates selected sources

It's a very good app, the timing is less then one minute off. While covid 19 is here it stay more accurate then the wmata app. Because transportation was limited and it was spot on almost everytime. Which is definitely appreciated at this time. If you have to travel by bus this is the application you want. I commend the developer👍👍👍👍

The app seems quite inaccurate. I don't know where they get info from (GPS on the bus?) but so far quite unreliable and the info doesn't match the signs at bus stops (and both are inaccurate!!!). I suppose WMATA doesn't care about providing accurate info to users/it's own stops/app developers

I don't think it help it gives wrong arrival times ready to delete forever

The app is pretty good. It gives the times for buses my old app didn't. But that's also the problem ... accuracy. The app is 3 - 5 mins off, a few times almost 10. Other than that it works fine. Just make sure to add 5+ min to the time it says.

I generally love this app. However during the past month everytime I try to check a metro line it says "No service today." and that's it. I tried reinstalling but didn't work. Perhaps a bug needs to be addressed? Thank you.

Update: Fairfax Connector missing completely. All routes show "No service today" since December. Change Directions often doesn't. I have to toggle back and forth between the available choices several times until finally I get the direction I was looking for.

The latest update has been a step backwards. Not sure the app is actually reading the gps status of the buses. For example, the app tells me the bus will be here in 5 minutes when it has just arrived. Not very useful.

I can't even find a simple station by name, all the stations are listed by address. Plan a trip search bar is terrible. Route search bar doesn't work at all. Only useful thing is the map :/

It says the the bus will be here is 0 minutes them 5 seconds later it says that it will be here in 15 minutes. This app is trash While on the tablet this is fixed, It's still pretty messy. You say you want train and it does that. However, It shows some random bus you don't care about. Sometimes it doesn't even show the correct bus. I once clicked on Court House Station and it said when the H8 arrives.

This app is a headache. Its great in the beginning, but the moment you need to go back to routes to look for more stops its not there. Please fix that. Im tired of uninstalling just to get the routes to show.

This app is terrible for trip planning if you're changing between lines. It shows the next to last station before you need to switch, then shows a Walk (0 min) then shows the stop AFTER the one you would have needed to change at. For example, if you wanted to go Red (Shady Grove) to Blue (DCA) it would show Red up to Farragut North(Red), show a Walk (0 min) sign, and then magically the first Blue line station as McPherson Square. METRO NORTH, the actual transfer station, is never shown.

Helps me to plan my trips to perfection in advance

The estimated arrival/departure times suggested by this app are impressive!

So far I like it a lot. Regardless of what's going on if it remains time worthy it will get the five star rating. Don't let this pandemic change the time table!!!

Intermittent functionality, needs development. Best used with Google Maps.

Good app. Usually accurate

The bus is normally on time, which saves me from waiting at the bus stop for long periods of time, especially in the cold AND heat.

Horribly unreliable. Times never updated or grossly outdated.

Not happy when app says a bus is coming in less than 5 minutes and the bus does not show up. The new ETA then appears.
