Currently this app is not allowing you to proceed past the contact information and has been like this for over a week, you have to dial 311 to to contact city services. Some workers need this app as a part of our job.
Apparently DC gov. didnt like that SeeClickFix did a better job and now residents are forced to use this mediocre, counter-intuitive app that can't work with password mgrs. and is impossible reset. Photos don't upload, maps can't find addresses. The web version is only slightly more user friendly. Reintegrate SeeClickFix!
This app replaces the Washington DC 311 app by SeeClickFix. I was actually a fan of the layout of the predecessor app as it was pretty quick and efficient to use before being closed. This app requires many steps to report or find anything. The maker, Salesforce, is a major company, so one would think more attention to detail could be provided. They certainly have the resources. The app just started in DC, so it will need some adjustments.
I couldn't even log in because the app won't allow pasting into the password field. I use long, randomly generated passwords in a password manager for security: it's ridiculous that this app effectively prevents anyone from using a password they can't remember.
This app is very convenient to use, and much easier than calling in to 311 services. This should definitely be your first choice when contacting 311
UX. Who made this app? Sign up, MSG: password too short. Next try, MSG: email already in use. Try forgot email, MSG: can't reuse old password??? Go back to app try old password that's obviously being compared against. MSG: wrong password. Wasted 25 min. I'm missing see click fix.
There is a ton of information on this app. So great to have all of it in one place rather than trying to search the website or call 311 anytime you had a question or had to report an issue. This makes my life so much easier.
They got Rid of the Old App that allowed you to take a picture of the problem ,GPS would pick it's location And problem was addressed, Guess the Old App Had phones jumping off the hooks And these over paid Morons Really working! LOL It had to Go 😅
I've a good experience when I requested to pick my old unused furniture and couple of tree limbs from patio, unexpectedly the response was very quick. Disposed off finally, tx
Nice centralized app of the resources but I feel it can be more descriptive and better organized.
As a teacher, I downloaded the app to book a field trip to a local museum for my class. Using the app has made the process a breeze. Thank you!!
- DC Residents: let's make a better DC311 app to help the city and its residents. - 311 Call Center Operations: removes a decently working app, spends money to develop even worse application, that's unusable and not user friendly. Shame! 👎
It's super easy to report anything to city. You also get notifications on issues you reported. Great idea!
This app is amazing! It really makes you feel like you are doing your duty as a citizen to help keep the community clean. The best part is that you can see updates on all requests you put in the app, and know that your feedback is making a difference!
Had to uninstall it. There is no reason for this app to demand access to essentially everything on my phone. NO. Resist!
App doesn't work. It has been offline for 2 weeks.
Great idea, but use Twitter to report & tag @dc311 for faster responses.
Once again IBM is one two snake and two Moto Sprint ,
I didn't install this app.
everything associated with the DC government is garbage...
This app keep looping to the play store. The software was downloaded, then I was asked to select a device. My device (I assumed to be my cell) was not listed. I tried selecting a device from the 4 in the list and none of them work. I tried this numerous times and restarted my phone. Still could not access the system. Unfortunately, there isn't an option to default to the previous version. The user is forced to download the new app which did not work for me. May I please have the option to use the previous version of the app
This app is useless. I can't log in. I can't submit a service request as a guest. The error messages are unintuitive.
Can't zoom on Leaf map layer. Using as guest.
Clunky and almost unusable. The app clearly uses some generic framework and makes working through the menus a chore. Much better to use the web site if you can. Also doesn't work well with password managers.
Way worse than the other app. Can't login properly, awful map controls. Clunky interface.
You may be able to submit a service request but it's rife with bugs. Login, profile, history, Salesforce's request for access to your phone's data, and other features often do not work.
Down loaded app and it won't open, I have a white screen when I attempt to open the app???????
Functions similar to the website but the app does not hold registration credentials nor autofills for First Name, Last Name and email.
Thanks
WHY are there two apps for DC 311? WHY? If one is not correct then remove it from the Play Store. This one looks more official but other was updated more recently. Pick one and go with it. I used both to submit same issue since I don't know which, if either, will work. Imagine I'm not the only one sending potentially dupicate requests. Photos upload strangely in this one though but I did receive a request number. Time will tell if anything happens. Course that still means nothing w/ this city.
