This app hasn't connected to the camera in a long time. I've tried airplane mode with wifi, no go anymore. I enter the password to connect camera, it tries a bit then gives up. I tried to hard reset the camera and held the reset button for 3 minutes and nothing changed. I can get the videos off the SD card on the computer at least, but the app just takes up space on my phone. Worthless, deleting.
Terrible job to connect it to the camera (m4 plus). The only way I can get it to connect is mobile data off, forget my home WiFi (so it only sees the camera), and switch of Intellegent network switching within the app itself. It's not worth the hassle. Disappointing

I cannot connect again since the first time and my wife's is the same so annoying.
Will not connect to camera! New update destroyed this app. Emailed the company...no replies. Do not purchase this product. JUNK!
Application works only when data is off. Please fix this. Xiaomi A1 running Android 8.0.
I have version v5.7.9.0528 as of June 1st 2018 the app currently does not display the correct time. the time displayed is 1 hour behind. The only time that the time is displayed correctly is after you connect your phone. I also can not connect my phone to the app with out turning off my data (3g lte ). And the app freezes up constantly. The camera I am using with this app is the DDpai m6 plus.not having the correct time can be devastating in the court room or with a insurance company this is a big issue that needs to be fixed
The last version working fine. Since update. It will not connect unless I manually connect to that dash cam first in the wifi connection.
The app is so broken it's hard to get any value out of the camera. It takes a short life time to find and down load the video you want. Also, why is the app now requiring me to authorize it access to all of my phone's information? Read the fine print and it's pretty scary. Who knows what Chinese entity is going to get your information.
The app at this stage won't even open . Its a pity they havnt the interest in maintaining a decent app to go with their dash cam.
Press the DDPai dash button and all your cameras create a video of 15 seconds before your pressed the button and 15 seconds after your pressed, also a snapshot. Next time you open the app and connect to the camera all those files aredled to the phone, ready for auto file push to Google drive. Wish it allowed saving to SD.
Upgraded to latest version (v 5.7.9.0613) and it wouldn't connect to my M6+ with 'Network Error 0x0104' so I downgraded back to previous version (v 5.7.9.0528) and it's working again. I'm using Android 8 on a Samsung S7 Edge
Why do DDpai app suddenly need permissions to my SMS and phone records? not good at all will not work without these being set remove this intrusion or i will have to sell camera
Didn't detect dashcam, this making dashcam useless

The SD CARD needs to be taken out and the files deleted. It will not rewrite over the existing data.
Used to be a half decent camera with a poor App the app now is useless, The only way to view clips now is via a laptop. This is the most expensive dashcam i have bought and the worst. The help from this site is none existent.. Update, uninstalled from car until I read on here it's been sorted..
No need for Make Call permission. Won't work without it selected, dodgy app
Why do I need to disable my mobile data to connect?? Also, my Android car stereo is not compatible with this app. Useless

Used to be great camera with relatively fine working app ... now it is useless camera with crappy app ... Why app for camera needs permissions to use SMS, call permission and even modify system settings ? Previous version was not requiring it and worked fine ... I am starting to think that I"ll sell this camera and buy another one with ability to use it without phone / app ...
Can connect on my old phone with Android 5 by cannot add camera on newer phones.
It's OK, the compass is 180 degrees out, and please add the option to enable 1 push remote to operate dual cameras, I don't want 2 push remotes, also I'd like 12h option in the shutdown timer. Thanks.update. this is total garbage none of my 2 cameras will connect. would be fantastic if they sorted it out.
