App is slow and takes forever to start. And once going it starts looking for the machine. Another 5 seconds. Once it finds the machine it takes a further 2 to 3 seconds to load the machine's settings. Often fails to find the machine. Sometimes crashes. Some function don't work, e.g. taking a picture of the beans' bag. Picture is taken but not saved. One of the worst apps I've used in months. The ideas are good but the implementation is horrible.

Stay away from this app, it will annoy even the calmest of you. App is unable to connect to the coffee machine most of the time. When it's able to connect, it will freeze loading an option and you have to start again and again. When I was finally able to set the "bean adapt" option, I wanted to save the settings and take a photo, but after taking a photo, it was not displayed so I saved it without it. Please hire someone to test the app, even just the happy flows that are most common.

Fire the app development team! It's horrible out of three different devices only one is able to connect, the login portion is horroble with seemingly no 'remember me' option. The machine itself (dinamica plus) is amazing but the app and phone gimmick is horrible! The connectivity is horrible! Please fix the application even if it's ugly just make it work.

Absolutely embarrassing. Maybe the worst app I ever had on my phone. Everytime I start it, the evaluation questionnaire will come up although app and machine are already paired., and it always ends with an error message. The language will default to Italian without any pattern. This app is already a few years old, and DeLonghi hasn't been able to fix stuff like that for years too. Given the fact that the app is sold as a big feature, this is unacceptable.

This app does not work. Each time I try to log in I am told that I have been sent a verification email. I haven't, re enter details then get the email. Open the email and click on the Activate Account link. Get a message saying link expired. Go back to app it asked me to log in again. Exactly the same happens again. Get it sorted, I just paid hundreds of pounds for a new machine in part because of this app. I am very annoyed that it does not work De Longi SORT IT OUT!

Awful! It just keeps telling me to connect to the internet, or it's unable to get updates, or the machine is unknown and I need to connect to the internet to get the details. Not a lot of point in installing it if it can't even pair to the device. My phone is connected to the internet (I've tried both WiFi and mobile data). Going by all of the 1-star reviews here, it seems that it's a common issue for many users and Delonghi don't seem to be fixing it.

Crashes and unusable. Took a lifetime of restarting and resetting initially to find and connect to machine. When it finally was set up as soon as it connects a screen comes up saying it has successfully connected and then it crashes. So can't set up the bean roasting as it relies on the app so basically makes this expensive function redundant. Feel like I have been conned and thinking of returning machine as I already had an older model and this expensive upgrade is useless

Makes brewing custom coffee easier, but it's PITA to use Every single time I want to use this app (even if I just switched to another for a single second), i must wait for it to detect, recognise, pair the connect to the machine. Easily 20 seconds. Adding new beverage is easy enough, but deleting is not. Just because some lazy bums do not use the app themselves (and they couldn't care less about users). Can easily be the prettiest and best app, but De'Longhi just couldn't care less.

This App starts ok (but slowly) then crashes. It takes forever to start, takes a long time to search for and recognise my coffee machine. Once it finds my machine, it says Ready For Use, but then just closes. I'm using Android Version 10 and it happens on both my Galaxy Note 9 and S9. Not happy. Samsung update your app for both speed and connectivity.

I am using this with a De'longhi Soul and I'm going to be as detailed as possible so hopefully the developers take notice of this, because in its current state the fact that this application is being used to advertise their coffee machines is deceitful. If it were just a quiet little add on then fine I wouldn't mind but there are key features you simply can't use without this app.. (1). Connection process: Painful. Each time the app starts it has to find the machine, then you choose it from the list and connect to it. This takes normally about 2 minutes and 4/5 times it just fails. The connection is over wifi so unlike Bluetooth the app does not just open and you are paired like you would expect... (2.) Key Features. Without this app you cannot make your own drinks or use the Bean Adapt function. 2 of the most important features are only in the app. I managed after 3 days of trying to add my own beans, but since then it's failed to connect so I can't adjust the settings for them... (3). Making drinks from the app is useless. You probably imagine that you can just use this app from bed to power on the machine and make a coffee. You can't. Every time the machine powers on it rinses through about 100ml of hot water, so even if you did have a cup under the machine ready, it would just be filled with stale water and you would need to manually empty it out anyway. If you do try and make a drink, 9/10 times the connection will just drop so you have to cancel or add to it from the machine anyway. Just don't bother... (4.) No auto power on. I thought the whole point of having a connected machine was to be able to set it to come on at a set time? This is such a basic feature which isn't in the app or in the machine settings. ----- It's a shame because the De'longhi Soul is actually a great machine, and if you could just control all the features from the machine I wouldn't even bother with this app, but you're paying extra to be hampered with this useless product. Unless these issues get addressed this is definitely the last Delonghi product I'll be buying. There are plenty of other manufacturers out there who have better offerings than this.

This is getting embarrassing when making my guests a coffee! The app freezes, closes randomly when selecting a coffee and simply does not allow any changes to be made. When it finally does work it produces a shot of coffee and freezes at milk production. My morning save me coffee has turned into a technological nightmare! Take me back to the app it was 2 years ago. I only recently updated and am now on my 2nd update in a matter of weeks. I find it useless!

Really bad experience. I really appreciate the idea of the app, but (sadly) realization is far from my modest expectations. Randomly changes language to italian, telling me that I've got no internet connection (I can browse external links in the app), and pairing device was real pain.. I'm not enjoying this app, but I really, really love the machine...

At startup always looks for updates, never finds any and gives warning, 15 secs gone. Then searches for devices even though device already paired, and needs Bluetooth enabled to find WiFi-only device. Another 20 secs gone. When device finally found, picture of device not shown. Then connects to device, another 7 seconds. If app language different from device language and WiFi on phone enabled, app crashes. Upload of Beans Adapt gives timeout error. And so on :( Only one positive thing: no ads.

Delonghi should be a shame to say their machine is smart. When the app does decide to connect to the machine (which fails 50% of the time) the app keeps saying the machine is in standby even when it is on. Funny think is that pressing a drink selection does make the machine pour but the app still says it is in standby and goes back to the connected screen. Other functions like profile won't work bc it says it is in standby. This app is a joke.

The app is nice looking and great for controlling the machine, settings and profile customisation etc. But the Help, Manuals, and interactive does not work. Has "general error try again later" on my Samsung S8+. Also on my wife's phone the same error. Please fix so we have full function on this App. Especially after paying premium for a coffee machine you would expect everything to work. Last update nearly a year ago. C'mon Delonghi sort it out please. Then I will up the rating.

Registration of account is terrible with the link in the return email not working properly. Still don't know if it accepted the details but the app says it has. Much better to continue without registration. Also changed the machine pin number without me knowing it. Lots of issues to sort but could be good if it worked properly.

I have a Dinemacia Plus, I want this app for customization of my coffees as I find doing it via the machine confusing. The old version of this app had issues but worked. This version crashes when I click on a coffee to customize or after a restart I can click on the coffee but customization does not work. If you can fix the crashes I will happily change my review.

The app is completely unusable. Try to create a new drink, there's zero coffee quantity and it can't be changed. Try to customize from an existing one, and it will do things like send it over with only milk and no coffee in it. Very clunky and awful. Have tried contacting support but haven't gotten a response yet. I'm going to try calling on Monday. For the price of this machine and the fact that this is a major advertise feature, there's no excuse for it to be this faulty and buggy.

This application is just a gimmick at best. It either fails to connect to the coffee machine or takes 3 to 6 minutes to connect. The application is extremely slow, buggy and cumbersome to navigate. A company like De'longhi shouldn't be even advertising these machines as "connected" or "linked" devices.

Worked for a few weeks then whenever I try to connect it says that the bluetooth pin is incorrect! Even though it is not incorrect as I am literally on the bluetooth menu screen on the coffee machine and copying straight across. Then I switch on bluetooth pin control from my coffee machine, and it still somehow asks for a pin and when I go back to the settings on my coffee machine, the bluetooth pin control has magically switched on again!? Very frustrating app!

So the app works as it should. However if you want to make your own coffee there are so many options missing. Want a latte? Well you need an Expresso shot and you can't select that. Want to make a custom coffee with Doppio+? You can't. Want a glass larger than 250ml? Not an option. Better yet. You want to modify a specific coffee? You can't because they are locked out... Why? This is so frustrating. Please update the app!

Old version was outdated, but did the job somehow. With new version I cannot hit BREW button as it is overlaid with other info. So I have to go back to the menu and select the beverage.... Also, BT connection takes ages to connect. If I knew this from the start, I would buy something else...

S10 connection failed, would keep saying connection failed or my dinamica plus is unknown...what a joke of an app. Cant connect at all! No Bluetooth module is fine since I could connect on a different phone, my partner has an s7 and it connected first time. I gave up on Bluetooth, the app seems bad anyway, what kind of company tells customers the technology will catch up rofl, don't advertise a Bluetooth app if you haven't even tested it out. Dinamica plus is my model.

Got our Dinamaica plus today Loaded app tonight. Took a while to get everything set up Now I go to log in and page just comes up blank. After several goes I deleted app and reinstalled. Still cant get log in page. Thought I may have to reregister but no tells me already registered and to log in. CANT LOG IN ON A BLANK PAGE. Please fix this app. Not one good review on here that I can see!

Terrible. Connects to machine ok but if I try to customise anything it completely messes up the coffee settings. Espresso ended up coming out as a (very) long black even though I didn't change the amount of coffee. I needed to reset the machine to factory defaults after trying this app. Avoid at all costs.
