I'm on episode 3 and this game is so immersive that I have to keep reminding myself not to build personal relationships with some damned characters 😅🤣 Edit: Game over, I'm literally crying. Edit2: "This item is not available in your country" 😩 I live in the U.S. and I was so excited to play season 2, what gives ?? 💔
This game was nothing like expected.. It was absolutely amazing I can't believe how fun and entertaining it was. I was so involved with each character.. Play this game, trust me you won't regret it. I would have gladly paid for it. These guys did an amazing job and has my full on support if they continue making games like this.
Good, loved the first season but why do we have to pay for the second one? Seriously it was such a good app with a great story and now we have to pay SO MUCH to continue the story?? Really sad to see. Also the package for the episodes is not available in my country. I'm from Germany.
played this game before u had to pay for the other episodes on a different phone, absolutely adore it. VERY worth the money if you do decide to buy it, it feels so real
The first season was amazing. I loved this game. I can't play the second season though. Everytime I go to purchase it, it says it's not available in my country.
I've been looking for something like this for ages! No ads, no pay-to-win, and no forced unnecessary waiting times!! It has a great story line and is wonderfully made. The only downside that made me deduct a star is the lack of choice. You do get some choice, that does somewhat affect it, but your choice doesn't really change the end result. I do get it would of been hard to produce multiple endings though. So if having a choice-y impact is important to you, this may not be for you. Great game!
I absolutely loved the game, loved the characters, the videos, the concept. I actually got so heartbroken towards the end when we discovered what was happening. The story was so good. The only problem I had is that in episode 4? (when Anoushka calls at the beginning of the episode) I was not able to go back, I kept having to quit the game. The amount of times I was stuck in Snaplife is actually beyond me lol. Then it somehow got fixed in the next episode. Didn't really mind, though.
Overall an exceptional detective story based game. The story really captured how dire situations were and how frustrated one would genuinely be trying to bring justice in an unjustice world. To be honest the only downside of the game is that there's technically only one ending that could be potentially avoided if the option of leaving the third party out the loop was available at times. But overall even though there's only one real ending, I will genuinely say it's the most realistic ending.
It's really well done. You can tell the time and effort put into this. The whole thing looks professional. Almost movie like. However I've redone the "alternative ending" at the end of season 1 and it simply will not let me progress. It's just an endless loop of the alternative ending, I've replayed it like 3x hoping it would reset. The only reason I was willing to do that was for not only the powerful message at the end but because I really want to continue with the game
Just finished the last episode, and without spoiling too much, this was a phenomenal social piece. I still have goosebumps from how close this hits in society, and although it's heavy, I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a good mystery. My minor gripes are that it's moreso interactive storytelling than a game that requires actual input, and there are quite a few bugs, but nothing a quick app restart won't fix. But the acting, storyline and mystery was what had me absolutely hooked.
Now this is my personal opinion - you might enjoy this game, but as for me I had some pros and cons. Cons: Deducted three stars because you don't really have much of a choice in things. You just mainly follow along in a story. At times it was quite boring.. Pros: I liked that they gave you the option to skip time while waiting for things without having to watch an ad or pay for anything. Plus one star. Finished it in 1 day and it was alright. I recommend playing "Duskwood" - captivating.
I do enjoy the game, but a lot of videos freeze and half way in Episode 5, once the snaplife notification comes through about a new post, it freezes completely until have to exit the app completely but does it again. Ended up uninstalling it as it keeps freezing in that spot. Overall was a good game up until that point.
It's really good and fun since I feel like I'm a real detective. However I messed up the game. Anyways, it's realistic like the plot and every characters in the story are real persons is perfect. The plot and the twists you made is outstanding. The one thing that I really like the most is when you're gonna interrogate the suspects, it feels realistic.
The most immersive plot line ever, I can't stress that enough. It's so beautifully made and the twists are certainly unexpected. My only 'issue' is that when a video plays such as the conviction scene, it's in a loop, the issue is that it suddenly goes to black and then the video starts again. If there was a way to make sure it doesn't flash black you should try it out as it's easier on the eyes. The game is amazing though, I'm looking forward to more.
This is so much more than a game. It influences the way you will see the world from now on, if you hadn't known about these things before. I had no idea that it would be about a topic so important, but the ways you can interact with the suspects and your colleagues really makes it a thrilling choice-based game which shows you just how much your actions have, intentional or not, consequences you never would've wanted. Aside from the story, the setup is amazing and immersive. However there are some glitches with videos, not showing responses until you reload the app, and crashing. Even with these issues, it was so worth it.
A truely fantastic and tragic story told through "found phone" style gameplay. It was gripping the whole way through. The reason for the low rating, though, is the numerous game-breaking bugs that riddle this game. I had to restart the game, and my progress many times just to get it to work. It was incredibly frustrating. Still, it was worth it to reach the ending. I hope this company makes more like this in the future.
Really well made game with such an interesting story! I would give it 5 stars if it was more challenging. Clues are already highlited. I don't like that the game forces me sometimes to say things that are unnecessary (just so I can progress with the story). I also don't think any of my choices really matter. It would be nice if the game actually let you make mistakes. If you said something wrong or the way you conduct interrogation, that would jeopardise the investigation.
Despite some of the glitches and not so intuitive operations, like missed touch and chat list crazy scrolling by itself, being able to cut through the story line when hit the notification banner especially at the episode's ending, this is a well designed game! Like going through a BBC TV series, or Alan Banks or something, and it feels cool enough by that. Love the opening music!!! Brilliant Still you can make it more like a film, or more like a game, I guess you still have a choice to make.
Absolute masterpiece. The voice and video acting, the choices, my only downside is being unable to finish the alternate ending but I emailed the devs and I can't bring myself to remove a star. I mean, it was so good. What a ride. Loved it and can't wait for more from this team. Very real and hard to get through at times (US here).
This was truly the best game I have ever played. The storytelling is amazing, characters are wonderfully crafted and all around it keeps your interest throught the whole game. In games like these you have to wait, but in this game you can easily skip any waiting you want without paying for it. The mystery here is amazing, and the twists and turns it takes is so interesting. The message of it is just wonderful. It touches on real world problems that still happen, and gives a good ending to them.
Absolutely amazing. I never really leave reviews unless it's bad. But this... This was exceptional. Amazing. Beautiful. The characters felt so real. And NO ADS!!! No ads, no in app purchases. you don't need to buy gems, coins, tickets, or anything to skip time. You can skip if you want to, or wait for full immersion. I really hope the creators of this make more games. Because this... Was indescribable.
Love the game but since last night's update it's been glitching a lot. I got to the alternate ending, left to do chores and it reset complete. Except some main parts stayed so I became stuck. So I went and rewound to the last episode but it said I found someone's messages before I even had them. So I went back again. Same thing. It says I have it when I don't so I get stuck. I'm not sure what to do.
The game is great! And i really can't believe this is free!! My only critic is that it seems kinda unrealistic how the detective shared everything with the boys and the way they talked to the detective made me annoyed sometimes 😅 also chapter 5 was soo bugged out, i cant choose the other suspect. It only let me choose the last one in row, then when I restarted it.. all my progress are wiped clean.. :(
One of the best detective games I've played. Storyline is great and it doesn't require gems or ads to skip wait times. The plot twists are truly unexpected. I love how it requires you to think before making important decisions. My only issue is how the screen went completely black towards the end of the alternate ending. I don't know if this was intended or a glitch, nor do I know if there was anything left beyond that point, but I hope it gets fixed. I hope to see more like this in the future!!
i love the game. i really really do. it deserves more recognition, it is just SO good! I'm giving it 4 stars in hopes the devs can fix this problem i have with chapter 3, i have to watch b.drilla's video on snaplife but not even halfway there, the video just freezes and so does the game. I've tried closing and reopening the app but the problem is still there. hope this gets fixed.
Was really excited to find a new game, the visuals are fantastic, game play is easy, the story catchy and then after finishing the first episode you need to pay to continue, which from now delving into all the reviews seems to be a very new change, one I'm sad to see. I won't be continuing to play.
