No idea what was going on but It works! I have marked it 4 only because I couldn't find any instructions. My display had a gradually growing purple rash with a faint reflection of the bottom bar. I had no idea when the pixel checking stage was completed (I just guessed), I had no idea when the correction stage was completed / forecast to complete. Lots of strange things happening on the screen, wondered if that was it for my phone. Gave it a nervous hour problem solved! Thanks.
Before I delete this app I have to leave a review. My phone fell and developed a thin black line. It was so frustrating until I found this app 2 weeks after and in less than a week my phone was fixed! Patience is key. I left the app run for 3 nights as I slept for it to work. But it did and I'm glad I didn't give up after the first 10 minutes as it's suggested. All I can say is that it works!!
I dropped my phone and two black line started to appear on my phone screen. Tried to look up on Google and YouTube and came across this app on play store. After running this app on my phone for a few days (put on charger and during my bedtime), eventually my phone is fixed and the black lines are gone, it works!!! Although it is not a immediate quick fix but this definitely worked for me, 100% FREE solution. Thanks so much for this : )
I did not actually use it because I have S10+ and because of the size of the screen and the settings it has for running some apps that don't work with this ratio the app did not check the pixels on the top And to be honest the pixel with an obvious problem is at the top of the screen... so... I'd very much like it if you considered it in the next updates
For an app that has the words "ads" in a red circle and a line through it on the home screen, a lot of ads sure do pop up everytime you click on something. Also, during my first run on the repair, my status bar popped down and revealed the "downloading" icon. I tried to click on it but it completed right away. It couldn't have been any of my apps updating because I have my auto-update turned off. So who knows what's on my phone now. Thanks a lot. 😒
This app never gets past 2 or 3 minutes without an ad popping up so what good is it? Once the fixer starts running an ad should not come up till the fixer has completed running. I understand using ads but not in the middle of the program. I don't know if it works it never runs long enough to find out. At this point its only a hook for advertising!
It actually works!!! Tried many others that didn't work but this one did! Although it took many hours from morning until night it was well worth it and saved me from having to buy a brand new cell phone. So don't be discouraged if it doesn't fix the problem right away within 10 minutes or even 2 hours like it says in the app description because it may take as long as mine did and if you have the patience it could save you lots of money like it did for me. So I most def recommend giving it a try!
This app didn't work on my phone, but it did do the job it said it would do. It had the proper screen size (others didn't go full screen) it has a timer I can set for the time I want to spend fixing it, and it made the pixel damage smaller. My hopes are that with continuing use, the pixel fixer will fix all of the damage.
Everytime I go back, an annoying ad pops up with the timer on it so I have to wait about 6 seconds to close it. This annoyances too much into time-consuming so I'm using a different app that does the same thing without ads
Tripped and shoved my phone against sink. Bottom half screen started flashing green. Thinking I need a new phone, I tried to look for pixel fix app. I tried this one first and thankfully it worked...well for now I hope! So far it's fixed, left it running about 30 minutes.
Hasnt fixed my phone screen yet. But i only tested for a minute. I thought the top of my screen was lighter.It seems like its actually the majority of the screen that's tinted dark. The top and bottom of are lighter colour. Not sure if it's the top and bottom messed up. But I always use "dark mode" for youtube, facebook, internet browser, so that's why Would give 5 stars but it doesnt overlay notification bar or the bottom 3 touch buttons(S8+) There are alot of ads but doesnt interrupt fix.
The app seems to ignore what time i put in and run for a random time. I set 5 hours and ten minutes later its already stopped and back at the menu. Otherwise it does what it says. there are no guarantees of course but this app will work as well as any other if you can keep it running that is.
works well on my refurbd LG G5. straight-forward, no nonsense app that is a little ad-heavy, but has buy-in option to remove (devs gotta eat, too). convenient time setting allows you to 'set it and forget it' (and double tap screen to exit). app has two major functions: DETECT - cycles through entire color wheel to highlight problem areas, and FIX - cycles through black/white static/stripes/lines/plaids, then through colors stripes/lines/plaids. Nice work, folks!
It worked. Had a hot pixel that worked properly with white, yellow, orange or green but turned red on black or blue backdrop. 15 minutes of running the fixing mode repaired the issue with blue background. 150 further minutes fixed black backgrounds as well. Great app. Saved me a lot of obsessive thoughts about having a "broken" phone ;)
Didn't fix anything, still have same issue with my screen. The amount of ads in this app are horrendous that the app can't even function properly, nor can I leave my phone out without an ad blocking the 'pixel fixer' screen constantly. I was hoping for this to actually work, but the one time I wasn't a pessimist, I was let down...
It does what it says it does. BUT it cannot fix every screen. Some physical damage is just that - physical, and not something flashing colors will fix. I have owned phones before where this has worked, but sadly the damage to my tablet cannot be fixed. Still deserves 5 stars because it would fix it if it was not a hardware problem.
It does not seem to run more than a few minutes without showing an ad and does not seem to offer an ad free version. I tried selecting the minutes and hours option but that also shows an ad disrupting the screen refreshing process. Is there a way to have this just run for hours without it stopping the process by displaying an ad?
The pattern is interrupted by ads, which should be fine since I'm not using the phone while running this app. However the ads don't auto-close and appear after just a few minutes of running the program, making it entirely useless. The phone requires constant attention if you want to run this program even for ten minutes. Good job letting greed come before the users' needs.
So I had a red fin line going across my screen and could only notice it with a black screen or a dark screen. I looked up ways to get rid of it and was told to use this app. At first I thought there is no way this has to be another useless app but I was wrong. This app fixed my issue in under 5m the line faded away.
What was an inconvenience is now a completely blacked-out ¼ of my screen. This issue was Static 3 weeks. I downloaded your app last night and ran it 15mins. All looked normal. Uninstalled app. Woke this morning to full Black instead of an annoying discoloration. Those who had success, great! But please, use caution!
Well, this App surprised me very much! I've dropped my phone and my screen was hazy or foggy. About an hour after the drop, I found out that the haziness went away on the sides of the screen a little bit, so I tried this App out in hopes that the pixels were just "stuck". I've run the fix feature of this App for about 1 hour. Success. My screen is back to normal!
