This app is nearly useless. Doesn't scan most of the time, and when it does, it just says "check your location", even though location is selected. The app that I had would not load locations, so I deleted it, only to find that it had apparently been replaced by this one. This one is much worse than the previous one. At least the other one would scan.

I got 3 or 4 things to scan but it used the wrong percentage, meaning it didn't match the shelf. I selected a store but the app kept losing the store. Then it tells you to ask a cashier. Honestly, the only reason I put the app on my phone is because the employees look at you and keep walking by. The place reflects the name very well, as it's very dirty. I think the funniest part was finding items with a salvage sticker with a lower price than the Dirt Cheap price sticker.

Must have this app if shopping at Dirt Cheap. Dirt cheap is not a store for most people, it's not the place to go if you're looking for a specific item, unless you're prepared to search, and possibly come up empty handed. It's a great place for bargain hunters who enjoy digging to find great deals. Stores are typically disorganized and items aren't signed or priced well, which is why this app is essential to scan for accurate pricing.

All codes are not in system. Only about half the items I scanned actually had a price. Everything else said speak to associate. Not very useful since the stuff i needed it for were the ones it couldn't show a price for. Seems like it'd work better since they advertise it's use in store. I'll delete this until they get their stuff together. I dont need another app to use my storage and data- especially one that doesn't work.

It keeps telling me to check that my location is correct. It is correct and it still won't work. I've tried re starting my phone and uninstalling the app and installing it again. It's beyond frustrating especially when the store buts EVERYTHING in a location that doesn't match the discount sign.

The newly updated app is really broken. First it asks you to register by giving them your email or your phone number. I tried email and never got one. The phone number option worked but now they have my phone number. Next it forces you to select a location, I selected the store i was in, attempt to use the price checker and the app spits out an error asking me to verify my location, which is clearly shown as being selected on the price checking screen. FAIL!

I got this app to scan prices and it used to work ok except I would have to restart it if i ever left the app before it would work again. Now scanning works about 10% of the time no matter what I do. Sometimes the scanner stays on and acts like it never finds the code. Sometimes the scanner closes like it got the code but doesn't display anything.

The price scanner sometimes is not accurate and causes me anxiety at the register. I'm forced to verify each and every item as it's scanned and then comes the haggling with the cashier. Also do not appreciate the customer loyalty cards having expiration dates. I earned each punch and should be able to redeem at my convenience.

There has been no updated this app in the past 2 years fix this the app works inconsistently sometimes it denies you're in the right location or it won't let you set your location at all and uninstalling and reinstalling the app does nothing hopefully when you hopefully when you decide to update this app these problems will be fixed one star out of five because I couldn't give no stars

Does work!! As the others have said in the reviews, when you go to scan an item, it says to make sure you are at the right location. I never had a problem with this before when I had the app. There is no point in it now unless it gets fixed.

Horrible. Zero things scan. All it does is constantly say are you sure you are at this location. Um, you have access to my GPS and I put it in 10x. I have never gotten it to scan one single thing, without that horrible pop up msg. My husband gets it to work 1 out if 50 tries before it starts doing the same thing to him. I'm not buying trash I don't even know the price of. Not worth lugging to to front of the store 99% of the time for them to tell you a damaged item is retail price anyway. Done.

Scanner works on 1/10 if the items if you're lucky. I tried to scan it a lot of items and the tags were perfectly in tact, but the scanner wouldn't register them. It makes the app pointless without it's most useful feature not even working.

Paid for the app, and it completely stopped working. Wouldn't scan anything, and whenever it acted like it wanted to scan after 6 months of having the app, itd completely close the app... so frustrating to purchase something only for it not work at all! Highly disappointed

What's the use in downloading this crappy app if it doesn't even work?! Honestly, I wanted to give zero stars because i just wasted almost 3 hours TRYING to scan items in that dirty ass Bossier city dirt cheap store in Louisiana & it's by far the grossest dirt cheap store I've ever been to! All the cashiers get annoyed when they have to check prices for you because this stupid ass scanner doesn't work! It's like, I'm sorry, i did try to make your life easier but the effing scanner won't scan!!

Meh. Half the time scanner doesn't work because of a badly printed or damaged label. Really wish I there was the ability to type in the number code. Also wished it automatically changed location. I shop at multiple locations.

The deal finder app didn't locate any items while I was in the store. I kept getting an error message saying to check the store location and try again. I deleted app and re downloaded and still got the same error message.

Great when it works. A lot of the time i run into the issue where i scan something and it tells me that maybe the store location i chose isnt right. Or things wont scan at all.

Tells me I'm not in the right location. But I am. Almost never scans an item without an error. Super frustrating. I have uninstalled & reinstalled, updated and no help. Waste of time.

The old app was a lot better at least you could see the scaned price on the old app this new/updated one the share button & the (? rescan) button covers the price up you can't even see enough of it to even take a guess at what the price is Please fix this

After i scan the barcode it does not ever show a price. I have uninstalled and redownloaded several times. I personally had a better experience with the old app.

This app doesn't work. The old app worked a lot better. It keeps repeating to correct my location or check with cashier. I regret unstalling old app. This app is suppose to help so we don't disturb cashiers every minute. Please bring back old app!! until you fix this app in mean time.

I can scan the price for each item in the store, and it shows the discount saved too (like 80% off). It is extremely simple to use.

Only available to Android users. This company refuses to do any current updates in order that customers who have Apple phones have access to the price checker. I sent several correspondents to their customer service. No one cares to get back to you, they have no concern to take care of customer or employee matters! Don't waste your time complaining of your hard earned $$ in their stores. Their prices are marked up so you can think your getting a cheap deal. Wish u luck!!

This app does not work at all, tried scanning merchandise and nothing happens. I regret uninstalling my old app which worked every time and I was able to find the price of items I was interested in purchasing. This app is garbage, garbage.

You can't use it unless you sign up and into it. I don't want this app to spam my email just so I can check the price of a random item for the one time out of half the year I go into the store.

Unable to scan items. Very blurry. Suggestions: add the ability for the customer to also type in the numbers to get the price.

The app stopped working. Everything I scan says to make sure the right store is selected so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it again and still haven't gotten my verification code!

They tried to charge me double the price of a toddler cup. New at target they have it at 4.99 and this cashier who was totally rude told me she was putting the cup at $9 with discount included.I told her what how are you getting that price its cheaper new at target or Wal-Mart and with no response she just put the cup away and said your total is this amount. Dirt cheap has everything dirty and nothing cheap.Save yourself time and dont go.

This app is not very that intuitive and sometimes clumsy and difficult to use. However unlike the broken garbage you'll use it to buy, it does work.
