Pretty fun. No pay to win, and progression is fast but not too fast that you get bored easily. I'm at about $1-4million and it seems to be slowing down / getting a bit boring. There's still lots of stuff to do it looks like (buying bigger stores, lots of achievements.) But there's not much incentive to keep playing. Got a few good hours out of it but I wish there was more features and replayability. I saw they are working on DL2 which I will for sure be checking out!
Absolutely LOVE THIS GAME! Just about everything is fantastic. And I hope that they continue to add new content and features to it! I've recommended it to a few people. It's really that good. Sure a bit repetitive here and there, however it's not annoying. If it would happen frequently... But so far it's rolling along great. Here's to more content and features! Think for 1 second NO IN APP PURCHASES! FUN GAMING! Well worth the download.
Not overcomplicated, but addicting nonetheless. With simple (and imo hilarious) character designs and a pretty decent algorithm for haggling makes for a pleasant and challenging experience. There is some room for work on the animation, but I am sure we will get there. As somebody who worked in a pawn shop for many years, this is immensely entertaining.
I purchased the full game with no ads but even the free version is great. I'm still surprised by the different amount of items and how higher priced items seem to come along further into the game. Every deal is different and theres good progression. Even the characters are quite different.
Nothing quite as fun as spending thousands on an item and then immediately lose it due to random 'bad luck' events simply because you didn't put every single starting point into luck. This is just unecessarily punishing game design, makes you feel bad and makes the game take way longer than expected to get out of the first storefront. Too bad, I liked the idea.
fun game, but PLEASE change the way auctions work. It's so annoying and time consuming that I often just x out of it. There's no reason I should spend a full minute of watching the CPU waiting until 1 second remains to outbid each other before I can place a meaningful bid. The rest of the game moves quickly but auctions are so unnecessarily SLOW. They should bid with 3 seconds remaining until it gets to the high point. It doesn't build drama, it's just slow and irritating.
Cool little game. Lots of tiny details that add up to a great experience. So simplistic yet diverse. Really makes for an overall experience worthy of my time. Of course with all good games one only wishes for more. If i had some of the talent to create a game I'd love to make use of my creativity. This game is an example of that.
You start from the bottom and work your way up the ladder of a pawn shop. Theres all kinds of items, people, and challenges you have to overcome. It's pretty captivating, and the devs have actually put a lot of timr, effort, and money into this game; at least give it a try! I usually don't rate 5 ☆ to many games, but this is one that definatly deserves it.
After putting in some more time i have figured out that there is just to many harsh events. Idea of the game is good but losing legendary items, yes multiple, at random just completly ruins it. Items u have spent alot on, time & money just randomly get "stolen" by the mafia. No real point to try as things are just taken away and u have no way to prevent it. Random events need to be adjusted as they just ruin the fun. Uninstalling and may try later if adjustments get done.
Great game for me but when you lose a legendary item due to upsetting the "benefactor" npc even tho it wasn't on the shelf and technically in the experts care it's those little things that tick me off like I get it's easier to code that it takes two random items but can't it be two items on the shelf??? For that it's only two stars for me...
A few annoying bugs but nothing game breaking. One especially annoying one where it will change your offering price to the customer's asking price during bargaining and if you are not paying close attention to when that happens, you can end up selling something for less than you bought it for or purchasing an item for ungodly amounts of money.
I've played a few pawn/storage wars-esque games which were meh. This here is the game that I was looking for. Nice little touches that they added help (people and item names mostly) and there is a decent bit of item variation. For a small crew, I think they did very well and can't wait to see what DL2 brings to the table. I'm sure it'll be well worth the price of admission after sinking ~8 hours into this (its easy to make bad choices mkay!!) and still haven't beaten it.
Pretty bland for a tycoon game. The music isnt good and the sound effects for the door is so annoying I had to mute the entire game. There's not much balance to it so you fail a lot. You are grinding too hard on trying to make money for new shops and upgrades that does not seem to have an effect for their prices and levels. And besides all of that, you are stuck with the same items over and over it gets incredibly boring really quickly.
It's very addicting and fun! The only things that I think would make it better is more variance with customers and also maybe a tutorial or something on how to make more money easier. I've been playing for like 3 days now and it's a really hard to make enough money to purchase better shops or make my character better. It seems like I'm stuck at the same level of money all the time. It might just me, lol. Very fun though!
Ignore what everyone else is saying about needing to get lucky. RNG can mess you up, but if you play smart you won't lose. I'm on my second play through, playing in a completely different manner, and still doing extremely well. There's a system, and you're rewarded for figuring it out. Highly recommended if the idea of buying and reselling to build yourself to the top sounds fun.
The game is not only really addictive, but it's not a pay to play. I don't even think in apps purchased are available. You can watch videos to can some bonuses but even then you can easily do without (only reason I occasionally watch them is to reward the dev.) Strongly recommend the games if you like store management games, that's an exemplary game!
I love the game. But I want an option to turn off the mobster story. I save and save to get enough cash to spend millions to buy some super rare item and then restore it and appraise it, then the game steals it from me and all my employees. This is not a feature that makes the game more fun or interesting; it just makes me want to quit playing. Thanks.
One of the best games i have played on my phone. I dont know why but i was captivated for hours. The only thing i would change is the length of the game. I beat it in 2 days sad to say. I will for sure buy the 2nd game as soon as its released. I expect great things! Thank you for the reply! I already purchased the new title and am very excited to dive in! Keep up the great work. Dealers Life 3? Lol jk thanks for everything!
Reasonably fun game but becomes repetitive. The ads in the paid version are irritating. I know they are apparently optional, but make no mistake, the 'free gift' heading is designed to tempt you to click it. Maybe there should be an option to turn the ads off, at least? Or call the column 'ads' and don't reward users for clicking on it - that would really make it optional. UPDATE: Your copy - paste reply does not address my concerns. UPDATE 2: Thank you for your third reply! The 1* is for: 3-4* for the game, -2* for the ads, -1* (should be more) for the customer service!
Really fun game! I don't generally like mobile games, but this one was so refreshing :) it's really engaging and I think they nailed the feeling of making real progress right on the head with the random events as well. Can definitely recommend!
I've been playing this game on and off for years now! I love it. I've beaten the game a few times and it's always fun to start over and have a different playstyle, i.e. hire different types of employees to start with. But there's one thing that's been bugging me for years now, since before the mafia story line, before the sell/buy auctions, before all that.... Its been mentioned by devs multiple times, on different posts that after a while we can tell a customer's personality by just by looking at them, and that's just not true. I've done everything I can think of to try to figure it out, but its impossible!!!! I have been searching the internet trying to find some hints for this, but there aren't any, and I'm starting to think that it's all random and looks have nothing to do with it. I'm the type of person who does brain games and logic puzzles all the time and I can't figure it out. Even if you have to make a spoiler thread or something for those who dont want to know, I would very much appreciate if you can clue me in!!! I've literally been trying to figure this out for years.... Thank you for this awesome game!
The game play is easy the graphics are OK. The game can become boring after a while. There are no upgrades or easy ways to obtain to obtain money.
The ending was so disappointing!! After working hard to level up and rent larger shops it ended abruptly with, "You Lose!" It didn't give me any warning nor any info as to why I lost. And the only option is to start from the beginning. It took hours to get where I was. Otherwise, I enjoyed playing a lot. Which is where the 2 stars come from. It kept me hooked for quite a while. Simple but challenging. Not so challenging that I wanted to give up
