The mobile application was designed to easily turn your device into the professional sound measure instrument. After downloading it and installing to your mobile phone, you will get the access to the next options in the menu bar:
★ Decibel meter, which register the noise level, from zero to hundred and twenty dB, including 4 spectors: quite (0-35 dB), speech (35-65 dB), noise (65-100 dB), danger (100-120 dB). Check, how loud are you, watching the soccer game, do you cross the mark in 60 db, when your team lead?
★ Frequency Weightings mode, helping to track the different groups of noises, can be registered with the sound pressure meter. Want to take part in the spl competition? Check it out whether it is possible with the appropriate tool;
★ Calibrate tab allows you to interact with the noise level meter and influence on it, adding or subtracting dB. Test the tool and make adjustments if you think they are necessary!
The sound level meter application is not just absolutely free, but also very easy in use and have a welcoming design. If you find yourself in a situation, when you need to track the noise level, warning about the maximum allowable level of sound, just use the Decibel Meter.
In addition to the main options in the menu bar of the noise meter you will be able to rate the application on the Google Play. We appreciate your reviews and always want to become better!

Full Screen Ads?!? Started getting random full screen adds even when not using the app. An example is I just unlocked my phone and was presented with a full screen add. It would be one thing if I had been using the app but I hadn't been using it, I can't even remember the last time I did. I suggest you uninstall/never use this app. Edit: Dev says ads are inside the app, they are either being dishonest or just are clueless. Ads went away after removing this app.
An stripped down, visually appealing and accurate decibel meter. The main feature is an analog speedometer-type meter, with color-coded regions. You'll find the digital readings at the bottom of the screen. No graphs, spectrum, etc. Great for loudness measurements. THANK YOU for providing this for free and without ads.
Had the same experience as others with the ads. Contrary to the responses written here, the ads are full screen and OUTSIDE the app. Repeat OUTSIDE. It drove me nuts trying to find the source of the ads. Disabled Decibel Meter and immediately they were gone. I don't mind ad supported apps when the ads are respectfully presented. Unfortunately since the last upgrade they became unbearable. It's sad because the app itself is a good one. Get rid of these ads and you could win me back.
I think the developer should take the recent reviews more seriously. I was quite happy with this app and the level of adverts until the last update - it was the best looking and easiest to use of the many sound meter apps around. Since the update it has been the source of full screen ads that are displayed even when this app is not "running". There was no title bar on the ads, so very hard to find the culprit - I had to install another app to work out that this app was the cause. UNINSTALLED!
Used to be great, and still is in terms of its main duty; to measure decibels. BUT since using the app briefly a few days ago I've been getting random full screen pop up ads, despite the app not being active. Not having any of that nonsense. Uninstalled. Edit (after developer reply): No, the advertising is not limited to "ONLY special places INSIDE the app". Random full screen pop up ads (while app was NOT RUNNING, and after reboots) proven to be from this app, have stopped since UNINSTALLING.
EDIT: The developer's response to my review is factually incorrect, and it is worrying that they continue to insist that the only advertising is inside the app. This app shows full-screen ads after I unlock my phone, even when the app is not being used. This began happening on its own after a recent update (version 50.3.0 (53)), without any prior notice and without any opt-in. I am removing the app because of this.
This app was very easy to use back when I first installed it but it has since decided to hijack my phone. It now throws up full screen ads every time I unlock my phone and doesn't identify what application is showing the ad making it very difficult to stop. The app isn't even in use when it does this - hasn't been used in months, in fact, and yet it is serving up full screen ads. Bad business. Avoid.
This was a decent app until a recent update. Now the meter pointer is totally off center and full screen adds make it very annoying to use. I went to app store to see if I could pay for it and stop the adds, but It appears that there is no option to pay. It instantly went from great to awful in my opinion.

I started getting pop ads. I could not figure out where they were coming from. I downloaded Popup ad detector and it showed that the ads were coming from this app. What a pain in the you know what. I've had the app for several months but in wasn't till about a week ago that the ads started popping up. No more pop up ads after I uninstalled this app.
Caught this app serving full screen ads upon screen unlock as well as periodically during active use. It interrupts the app you are in and is very annoying. At least they were easy to close. But this is terrible user experience and unforgivable considering the app was rarely ever used and therefore closed basically all the time. It has a background service that runs to serve ads at all times. Took me a while to figure out this app was the culprit.
So with one of the recent updates suddenly the needle in the db meter got offset and crooked. Actually pretty hysterical to watch. But what was really bad is whatever programming mistake was involved with this app caused a launch of an ad on my LG Android of an advert every time I unlocked my phone. Pretty sure this was not deliberate on the creator of the app, but you need to fix this. Uninstalled.
The app was great until recently. It's become bloated with adware that is not confined to the app. Please fix this. Edit: The developer keeps responding to everyone who leaves a negative review the same unhelpful and untruthful response. The ads are clearly not confined in the app as the developer insists. They still won't admit the adware is a problem. Sad. Don't download this app unless you want to be bombarded with ads even when you're not using the app!
I've been getting full screen popup ads for the past several days and finally narrowed it down to this app. These pop-ups occur whether or not I've been using the app, and vibrate the device when they occur. UPDATE: I'm a software developer by trade, and I'm disappointed by the dev response to this issue. This is a disruptive issue for many people. Dismissal of user issues is never okay. AVOID this app & this dev. There are better options available.
Used to be the best app out there. And now, a full screen ad shows up out of nowhere blocking whatever you're doing. Intrusive is not the end of it. The app icon is some default rectangular box so you don't know what app is showing the ad. Touch and hold, lo and behold, it was this once trusty app. Deceptive dev, don't recommend!
This is fantastic! If it had the A and C weighting curves, it would be perfect. Edit: wow, thanks for adding the feature. Your app is now officially perfect! Update: Developer should check for adware infection. Latest version started popping up anonymous ads, popup ad detector caught it.
What is the quickest way to get uninstalled? Showing full screen ads when the application is not started. Beware before you install this that a recent change to this app caused it to start showing ads all the time, even when I hadn't even opened it. I had to uninstall it, which is sad because it was a very good application for measuring the noise level.
I used to think this app was great, and I didn't mind the in-app ads, however recently they have been pushing full screen popup ads over my home screen when the app isn't even running in the background, this is absolutely rubbish behaviour and I would highly recommend using another developer that doesn't get involved in such practices. EDIT: Explain how your app is showed as the last running app after the popup adds appear EVERYTIME despite me not running the app once in the past two months?
For some reason it now displays invasive ads on my phone when I go to unlock it, even though the app is completely closed and I haven't used it in months. I have never experienced this with a phone app before and didn't think it was even possible. Disappointed and uninstalling
The latest version is constantly popping up full screen ads on my phone, this is now adware! I am not using the app, not even open or active and I am getting full screen ads. I had to wait for a full screen ad to show so i could determine where it was coming from to stop it. So something is hi jacking your app and doing fill screen display.
I thought this app was great until it started launching itself in the middle of the night and disturbing my sleep with bright full page ads. Update: I don't want to provide my email to the developer because I don't trust that it won't result in other forms of spam. However, the developer response indicates that they do not believe the many reviews that are reporting this problem. My suggestion is that you try out your own app on a non-developer phone and see if you still believe your response.
The app works, but beware of the ads... I have noticed a lot of pop-up ads recently, and after looking into it I found that they are coming from this app. I haven't used the app in quite some time, but it is still pushing pop-up ads through to my phone. I can't say for sure, but since the ads are based on things I am interested in I believe they may be using the microphone to select ads for me. I am deleting this app because of this.
Be aware of this app, it will invade your phone with full screen ads. I spent 2 hours looking to eliminate the full screen ads, I looked in the most recent used apps and this was always first or second on the list without using the app, uninstalled the app and the full screen ads disappeared, app not worth a dime. Besides that the developer is a lier.
