Great App, but Ravnica Allegiance update (118) has busted the interface. Can no longer select the sets I want to draft (Samsung Note 9, Android 8.1.0)
I really liked this app and even paid for in app purchases... But the last update crashed the app and now all that stuff is gone and it doesn't work.
I love the app... but every time I update to find the new set it freaks out and everything gets screwy... i would love to raise this rating. just need to fix this issue.
this only covers magic 2013 unless you pay per set. definitely not worth your time.
Do not download in this state. Unusable with any in-app updates.
Long time user, Love both apps.
This app is amazing in theory. While the micro-transactions are tidious, the sheer lack of sets in the Modern era are disappointing. Magic Online features flashback drafts going to 8th (the start of Modern.) The inability to download guides for older sets makes this app just as useless for causal players as it does newer players (the lack of the newest sets.)
The drafting is quick and easy and very intuitive. The comments on the cards and ratings are really helpful for learning the set. I have a few issues though. The bots don't draft well, almost at all. At times, looking at their picks i can't tell what their designed for, for example they often they pick basic lands 3rd to last over actual cards. Also especially with soi the packs are not realistic, no foils, color dist. and lack of a second dfc with a rare one. Overall good for learning the set bad for draft
I'm mostly disappointed with the fact that the Innistrad and Scars of Mirrodin block are modern and are available, but the RTR block through the Khans block are modern and aren't available to use, and they want you to pay for them!! If they change that, then I just might give this app 3 or 4 stars. But as it is at the moment, this only deserves 2 stars.
The app is the best draft simulator app that I have found, but the draft simulator is lacking. Each card is given a rating from 1 to 100 and it seems that the AI just drafts the highest rated card. That doesn't seem unreasonable but in my latest sim, the AI first picked Reclusive Artificer over Kytheon and then picked a common off color creature over synergy. This app is good but not very smart. The ratings for cards are useless as multiple people give ratings for the same set with no consistency.
When i pay for a set review, i expect it to be well thought out. Each new set it seems like the ratings get worse. It does me no good to practice drafting, if the bots draft horribly. The app runs smoothly, or I would have dumped it a long time ago. Bot picked boulder salvo p1 p1 over fall of the titans, fix it.
The game is strictly for drafters. Again the tester does not work correctly... or i have not gotten it to work correctly. What you need to do is one tap to select the card, one tap to read the card or double tap to move it to the play area. That would fix most of the issues I have.
The only thing I expect from this app is to accurately reflect the draft environment and it can't even do that. The format for HOU draft is HOU-HOU-AHK, not 3xHOU. Also, for the second time (that I'm aware of) the planeswalker deck cards were included in the draft pool. In other words, this app is completely useless for trying to practice HOU draft. One star for you.
This app is awesome. It's a great way to practice drafts and learn the cards. I love that they fixed the crashing issue as well.
Great for getting to know a new set. Debatable if the AI is even slightly close to realistic, but it's good enough to get the flavor. All around a solid app.
The app keeps restarting my draft if I click a card. Would awesome if you could implement a better test board.
There is always a mistake in the card database and ratings and reviews take too long. I would like my money back for the Amonkhet purchase because it includes cards that are not in booster packs.
If you're like me - know a bit of magic and a noob at drafting... Than this app is for YOU
Had all manner of issues on Samsung phones, but Nexus handles it fine. Guess that is the difficulty of developing for android. This is a very fun app when it works.
Cool app. Just bought the Origins pack because I liked the writeups in the other packs. Note: Obverse of Nissa shows Bellows Lizard.
This is an awesome app, and it has helped with drafting. HOWEVER, while this app is good, it does NOT accurately play out the newest set card setup. However, it is still worth it to see and read the card ratings even if it doesn't run SOI properly.
The write-ups on the cards are very helpful when you're learning a draft format for the first time.
Even though it says there's full commentary before you purchase the sets to learn how to draft. Completely dishonest.
This is a good app for casual magic drafters that want drafting practice with some helpful sage advice, best thing is free except for any set past M13 I think.
This program is okay for fun, if a little buggy. It also gives food card information, but it doesn't pay any attention to signals or print runs, so it's basically useless as a drafting tool to help you improve.
Simulator isnt bad not not great, hasnt been updated to purchase recent blocks, crashes all the time. Bad all round.
They don't have the current sets. And wants to charge you money for their latest set. Crashes a lot.
Most recent sets are expensive. Can practice sealed decks online for free and the AI is much better
Great for practicing drafts when you have a spare moment, but it doesn't work since i updated to Android 9, so thats annoying, hopefully it will be updated soon.
