This was a terrible experience. I sent in $24.00 worth of items from the initial scan and they rejected everything and said they disposed of everything but I didn't find out until I logged in to the app to check the order status. There was no email sent asking if I wanted my stuff back . I would of paid for the shipping as far as I know they just ripped me off for my stuff. I sent in a bunch of books on cd, thoes cds were in fantastic condition. Save yourself, don't sell to them.

Downloaded and scanned some items to see what they would offer. It seems like for media it needs to be a very popular title otherwise they won't buy. When it is a popular item, it's about 15 cents (less than a dollar). Definitely a waste of time. Sell items elsewhere if you want to make $ on them.

Do not trust this company. I sent in my xbox one for quoted price of 90$ and i just reset it before sending it in. They tell me its not able to be reset then they offer 9$ and tell me they wont do anything to retest and they instead ship me the device back in a different box with no packing protection causing cosmetic damage. I was able to reset the device no issue. Do not use this company they will try to lie and rip you off and they damaged my device because i didnt accept the 9$ offer.

Do not send anything of high value to this company just in case you decide to reject their offer. They will not package your items properly to prevent them from being damaged during shipment and you might not get back any accessories you sent along with it. What you do get back will not be in the same condition you sent it in or even the same thing you sent in the first place.

HORRIBLE!!!!! DONT SEND YOUR STUFF HERE. False advertising!!! I sent my s21+ and they do not pay you next day as promised it took the 5+ days and with a revised amount!! Per the agreement my phone was at the standards. I put fair condition because the phone worked 100% but it had heavy wear and tare and had a cracked screen. That's one step above faulty . They offered me $374 and it took them a total of two weeks after I shipped it. And they revised the amount to $64. I'm reporting them to ftc

I've had a very bad experience with this company.. sold my old phone to them, had everything in the box bubble wrap and sealed good and printed off the label and sent it out which got there fast on April 12th of 2022 and they accepted saying it was good but I'm still waiting on my payment as of today even emailed them and they said give it one business day for the payment to process still nothing so beware selling to this company I think there a scam!!

The point of Decluttr and other apps of this type are not designed to get you rich. They are paying for shipping costs and have made the process of scanning your books, CDs, DVDs, and BluRays easy. Like resale shops, they aren't going to take everything and you are going to be offered pennies on the dollar. I knew this going in. My agreed total was $9.18. Once my package was sent, received, and processed, I only received $4~. They wouldn't pay for BluRays I sent, but they won't send them back.

Life is full of choices and using this app is a bad choice. While I initially was impressed with the scanning feature on the app, I quickly became annoyed with everything else. Almost everything I scanned was unable to be recognized and the things that were accepted were mostly or worthless. The real S-show is when I tried to log back in and I couldnt because I "forgot" my password. So when I follow the link to reset my password the "reset password" link does not work. Dont waste your time.

Beware! Everything seemed fine until it came time for my payment. Get the payment email and it's way less than it's supposed to be. At the very bottom of the email in the smallest print possible it says my package was missing an item. No surprise the item they claim is missing is the most expensive and rarest one. I just wanted to get rid of it so I didn't sell it on ebay. I should have because I could've gotten nearly 10x as much. I triple checked the box so I know for a fact it was in the box.

Super easy!! Prefer this over trying to sell on my own and/or donating and losing out on some extra cash. Very specific on types of electronics accepted though. Did not recognize many DVD's or CD's which isn't a big deal. Had some other electronics (brand new router and modem) that I couldn't find as being an accepted item either. But other than that I love it so far!

The app is great. I just didn't like the low low prices of the offers on the cd's. They did not take alot of the urban music I had. Then I sent 2 phones one had a price which was the highest I ever received. Then they said it was something wrong with the phone. Nope. I just upgraded and put that one away. Now I have to wait to see if I ca get it back due to some mix up. Then you email the company and the take forever to get back to you.

This is an edit. The app seemed easy and simple. The problem was when it came to mailing my stuff. I picked the option to get my mailing kit in the mail. I waited a month and it never came. I contacted support and was told they would get my mailing label to me in 7 to 10 days. 2 months later no mailing label. total waste of time. I ended up just selling locally. Im done done with declutr and all the junk emails they send.

Changed my review due to poor experience I've had with this company. I sent in all my books agreed upon by the input. 2 books were "not found" even tho I printed the list, checked off each one and put it in the box. I even double checked here and they are gone. The last book that wasn't accepted "didn't have a barcode." Their scan tool lets you type in the ISBN # of a book. Worst case scenario they type it in. Because of this 3 books were not paid for and now they have them to sell. Scam! Avoid!

Don't waste your time. The concept is great but odds are that most of your books/movies/items won't be accepted when you scan them and when they are you won't make much. I scanned ALL of my DVDs (over 100). Only about 8 were available for me to sell and I wasn't offered more than 23 cents for each. A box set of an entire season of One Tree Hill was 53 cents. I'll just continue using eBay/Craigslist. DVDs might only get me a few bucks but it's better than 23 cents.

Absolutely terrible experience. I sent an order to them and triple checked the list to make sure everything was in the box before I mailed it. I then get an email saying they received the box but 10 items were not included (ironically the ones they were going to pay me the most for). I feel like I was stolen from and I would never do business with this shady company ever again.

I rate this app at a 4. It would be 5 but it's not very configurable. If using a bar code scanner it won't accept CR LF as a string, but you can use the data wedge app on any Zebra scanner to send them as keypresses to the app. Kind of a pain. Also I can't modify the delay for the notification types. I'd like to scan media much faster but I find myself waiting as much as 3-4 seconds for "we aren't buying this item" to go away. A 5 star app would let me configure the UI a lot more.

Well, I wish I could use it. It's quick and conveint to add items to cart, but very limited on what tech you can sell, such as not so popular items back from the 80's, or even from 2010. Plus video games get sold for like $.26 ?? I got $10 off of eBay, for the game declutter was gonna give me for $.26. Even GameStop takes items like this back for much more, but still no where near what you can get off of eBay, and this includes eBay/PayPal fees. Games go down in retail, yeah but not this much. They usually stop at $5, or $10.

Almost two weeks after receiving my items, they claimed two of them were missing.. but when they sent the final tally, those items had magically reappeared but three other items (the ones with the highest price quotes) were suddently deemed unsuitable and deducted, and then they refused to return them. This is a scam site, don't waste your time.

I love this app! Where as I would have just had a pile of useless Clutter (haha) now instead of throwing it all away or piling it up to donate and it constantly being in the way, I can just quickly scan the barcode on CD, movie, book etc. OR enter my tech specs and boom! I have a price and a free label to go with it, and then the money is in my PayPal as soon as they get them in the mail, easy peasy! Love love love this!

Sleazy! I sent in three items (all in the same box) to get an email saying that my phone was in worse condition than I had listed. Nowhere in that did they say I hadn't sent in another item (which I did). So after several days of accepting to revise my offer, they tell me I can't receive payment because another item hadn't been included. Seriously? It just vanished like that? STAY AWAY FROM THIS SORRY SERVICE!

Had an issue with a payment never received. Support was terrible. They wanted bank statements to prove payment was not received. ??? I never received one of the payments and finally gave up as they were unable to show proof that I received it and support stopped responding. It wasn't worth the hassle. Three other payments worked though it took time for them to get their payments working correctly. Also, app difficult to edit an existing list of items.

Shocked Bar code scanner is super cool. Easy to use. Unfortunately, they don't accept duplicates, don't pay more than a few cents per book, and are overly-picky about what they can accept. I literally scanned 10 items in a row; two valuable books would generate under $1 and none of the other books could be accepted. Scratching my head.

has been a great app and service to empty out the basement and storage boxes and make a few dollars. app has been easy to use and you are walked through wach step. I recieved payment quickly by check and they paid very close to the amount initially quoted. A few items were a little banged up so i was expecting to recieve a bit less. I still made a few bucks and cleaned up my basement, a win win!

Let me start by saying that my very bumpy first experience is over now, everything is finally resolved. Decluttr has a yard sale style when it comes to selling your items to them. App and website is user-friendly for the most part, pretty much straight forward. Still, basic customer service needs an upgrade in when it comes to communication. I recommend issues getting handled via the live chat feature, very helpful and responsive feedback clarity. Thanks overall, hoping future sell is better.

As this was a first experience, I did not expect to start selling so soon (as in immediately) after setting up the account. I need practice navigating the pages and entering items. I was not prepared to have a stack of discs ready to scan. I am not sure how prices are determined for items as I expected more for items that were still in the initial unopened packaging but did not earn more than some opened items.

App doesn't work. It's impossible to login since the sign in button isn't functioning. I downloaded the app but had to go online to create an account since when you get to the enter "State" section it doesn't give you any options to choose. I just installed the update hopeing that would fix the problem but no luck.

Straight up stole from me. Don't include anything worth too much! They offered a good amount for a collectors edition of a video game, then said it was incomplete. The intake staff isn't paying attention at all. The back of the box listed everything included, they don't care to look. I think because the steel case in it was empty they decided I must not of sent something instead of looking at the box and seeing it's meant to be empty. They don't return anything. Customer service won't help you.

I have never left a review for anything but felt that I had to for this because it's just that good. I was looking for a place to sell my PS4 and all my games and it was looking like my only option was going to be GameStop where the trade in value is quite bad and I only get in store credit or eBay where stuff often doesn't sell. On here I got incredible value for all my items like shockingly high and scanning the items was frictionless and took seconds.
