Imagine, you've just turned 10 years old and are setting out for your Pokémon journey. You head to the professor's labs to choose your Pokémon partner. The professor hands you a Pokédex, an iconic device that can identify Pokémon. Today, we take one step closer to that dream.

Good concept however it does not work very well. Occasionally it gets things right but it is very inaccurate in it's recognition of pokemon: for example, I scanned the watch on my wrist and the app told me it was a mawile. I scanned my chair and it told me it was a metagross. I have had some success while scanning pokémon that are unique in their appearance although still only occasionally. I would not recommend this app to anyone who wants accurate identification of pokémon.

At the time of this writing no Galar region support. App could be better by linking weakness charts and movesets per game, etc.

Works extremely well. Recognised pictures on the internet of anime and cuddly toy versions, but also recognised some physical figurines of Pokémon I happen to have. Very impressive.

Works surprisingly well. I don't know if it's my camera or the app but my phone struggles to focus while using the dex to scan a figure. It thought Hoot-Hoot was a Magnemite, other than that scanned all 19 other figures correctly within 5 seconds.

So far, it's somewhat accurate. Out of the three plushies I scanned, it only got one wrong. Surprisingly, it was able to recognize a bootleg eevee. I'll have to spend more time to get a better idea, but its good of what I've seen.
