Deeply Absurd Chain

**
* Time Magazine
- Featured in Best New Puzzle Games (March 2, 2015) ***
This is strategic match-3 game where you connect stones, underground creatures and other absurd things to discover the entire absurd chain. It combines "Boulder Dash" like gravity mechanics with "Dungeon Raid" match 3 idea, plus "Triple Town" like item evolution. *All the names are the property of their respective owners.

Game features:

- Connect 3 or more items/creatures of the same type to discover the next link of the chain;
- Plan your move strategically to make sure that the next one is possible;
- Earn and upgrade Bonus Actions that will help you to recover from hard situations;
- Interesting (unusual for match-3 games) gravity mechanics;
- Absurdopedia: funny descriptions of the items in the chain.

- Time Magazine (time.com)
- featured in "Best New Puzzle Games":

"I am immediately fond of any game that embraces its own absurdity on the most superficial level. At first, this plays like most match games—the basic principle of which is to line up as many similar items in a row. But in Deeply Absurd Chain, matching items only reveals the next link in the chain, allowing for far more complicated moves. It’s a game that sends you down a rabbit hole of cartoonish puzzling with an archeological theme."

- Daily Mail UK:

"I admit I started playing this purely because of the beguiling title, but it’s a pretty fun little puzzle game, devoid of the usual Candy Crush moments where the game rudely asks for your credit card. You draw lines to connect together blobs, and slowly ‘evolve’ prehistoric creatures. Little brain power is required, but it has a serene, hypnotic quality."

- JayIsGames:

"The longest chain is not necessarily the best move. You need to keep in mind your surroundings. Maybe you want that big patch of rocks to become three warm-blooded rocks instead of just one so you can combine those three into the next part of the chain. Where you end your match is important as well because the upgraded item will land there. Speed isn't a factor, so take your time to plan the best moves... Deeply Absurd Chain has a surprising amount of strategy for something so easy to pick up, and it will keep you playing for quite awhile."

- OneMoreLevel:

"Who knows what absurd thing you'll find lurking under the surface of the earth in this strategic match-3 game."

I'm glad the game got updated to be compatible for newer systems.... I was excited to try and reach the "end" of the chain. Never made it past the game dev logo, and I assume the next step is the last one. But I don't understand why all upgrades have now exploded in price. 1st upgrade in all categories costs 4000, was that intentional? Or a glitch? Because it is way too high. It completely kills the progression of the game. Played a few times and have no urge to continue, needs to be fixed!!

Great game but clearly not compatible with a no buttons OS (I mean gestures activated on Android 10 and 11).

Pretty cool little game. Not a lot of ads.

One problem: ads with sound override my phone's mute setting (Samsung Galaxy S6). This is even when I turn off the game sounds. So I can't play in quiet environments. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

Fun game, cute graphics, but i don't understand why the upgrades cap at five. Sort of lost its appeal when I lost the ability to progress

This would be a 5 star game if I could continue a game after closing the app. I dk if I'm missing something or what, but every time i reopen the app i have to start over. Please Help! I will change my rating to 5 stars if there is a save option.

Highly addictive. But be careful: 30% of LG G4 battery life spent in less than an hour of play. No other game or app ever did this.

Love this game and the challenge of finding what's next on the chain keeps me playing... Great on long journeys, only issue I have is after long periods of play it becomes non responsive, other than that it's 5 stars all round

Nice time waster but what's the point of earning pts if it tops out at 5 of each, have 22k of pts but nothing to do with them. It feels like a it's not quite finished.

It ok , it is what it is . Not cutting edge or ground breaking. Nice time filler

It could be a bit more polished as the graphics are only okay and having to go to a menu to exit annoying but shows promise.

Fun and engaging, but repetitive after a while.

I played this once and thought it was stupid. I figured I would play once more just to be sure. About an hour of play later I realized just how much time I had spent. Great game. I just with there was a way to pay to turn off the ads.

Dan. M. Mar 11, 2015

This is all sorts of fun. Planning ahead is useful at times. Though please, give us a paid ad free version. I would gladly pay for this. 5 stars if that happens.

Ors. E. L. Mar 23, 2015

Thanks for it and please keep up the good work. I can't wait to find out what's the next link of the chain! Luckily I seem to get further every time I play it =) A paid, ad free version would be lovely.

Any time I need to pop over to a different app-ie reply to a text, the game freezes.

Match 3 meets doodle god/devil. Not a oy for money, unobtrusive ads...why can' t all app games be like this? Fun and neat twist on match 3 game.
