Do not pay for this. They are simply using the zenith of the moon as one time, and the middle of major feeding times as the other, which you can obtain both sets of info from free apps. As a dedicated Hunter, I was excited for this app to give me an edge and pick the time of day i hunt strategically, instead of all day or mornings and evenings. When i saw the commercial for it, they claimed it was different than other apps. Its not, its worse because they charge $25 for free info. What a joke
I thought i would give it one more shot. Registered fine this time. Decided to subscribe for 9.99 and app stated would have access to moon guide but nope. Canceled subscription within 30 minutes no refund. Scammmmmmmm. I hate to even give it one star.
Looks like the app issues from last year have been fixed! The app is definitely more convenient than the old dial, wouldn't go a season with out this info. The Red Moon is the key to big bucks!
Quick look at the app and it looks good! Having the guide on my phone instead of the dial will be very handy. I hope the subscription price is not too high next year!
Great app! Much more convenient than the dial. A lot of good features including weather and helpful tips. Recommend to anyone that wants to have more success this fall!
Purchased the the updated calendar, and the purchase went through on my end, but the app did not update and will not allow me to view the current calendar. I have emailed them and have not received any email back.
Upgraded to pro and it refuses to allow me to sync ( which is required to get info) for any of my multiple locations. Throws error everytime. What a waste of $25
Great app. I've seen first hand the effect the Moon guide can have on hunts. I schedule all my out of state hunts based around the red moons and wait to hunt my target buck until I've got the right wind and a red moon
The times and locations on the app are not the same as on the wheel. Also, in October, November and December on the app, each time there is a half waxing moon, both times are PM.
Thanks for the update to fix some of the issues. I can you the app better. But it still is crashing sometimes when you go from one part of the app to a another.
Poor at best. Won't load in home with wifi forget using data in a rural hunting area. Time not updated after daylight savings time ended. Have reported issues and no reply or update to fix issues.
Have been using the moonguide since the 90's and it's accurate, it has kept me in the stand due to midday times where I have taken 2 mature bucks and if not for it, I would have been back at camp.
I downloaded the app and it would only let me look at last years moon calendar. Told me I had to purchase the calendar for this year. Talk about a bait and switch.
App doesn't work. Sync function to your location will not update making this app useless. No response from any emails to request help. Too bad this use to be a great tool.
Wish I could leave no stars. I purchased the calendar in the app and didnt unlock as promised. Then moonguide wouldn't respond to my emails and refused to help. Just beware everyone. Report it to google if possible.
I've used the original "hard cooy" Moon Guide". This app was developed and is managed by the best in the business! It has given me a leg up on the old crafty guys!! Thanks for what you have created!!
I really like having this it is accurate I have mature deer showing up on camera in sync with the moon phases only reason for not a 5 star rating is it is pricey. App works perfectly
Best hunting app i have ever used. I am able to use the Moon Guide, see weather, tips from Adam Hays, and log my daily encounters all in one app! I am already planning my vacation days based on the Red Moon days
I was given a promo code that doesn't work. I bought the moon guide earlier this summer. I would like to use the app. Please fix it soon hunting starts in a couple of weeks.
I like the guide tree is a ton of info but..... I don't like that the app is free and then to get current information you have to pay. It's like a serious tease. Yeah you get a free app with last years info.
Never got to log on. Downloaded the app, registered and when I try to log in I just get the wheel of death for 2 or 3 minutes. Drained my phone battery to 86% messing with this app and never got in.
I am having same issues as everyone else with signing up. I use a android phone. I have tried several days to delete and download again, but issue still not fixed!!!!!!
Useless unless you pay the $25 for "pro" access. Can only look at details of previous day's. Can't even look at the same day. What good is that? Hindsite is 20/20, but it doesn't get deer.
Worst app ever. Spent $24 bucks and NOTHING populates. No daily forecast. No peak times. No "best days to hunt" info. No moon overhead or underfoot info. NOTHING. Steer clear of this app.
Just download the app (8-26-19) and will NOT let me create an account. Enter info and then the wheel of death pops up and spins !! Fix issues! Season opens in less than 3 weeks
this app has been easy to use and navigate I can't wait for bow season to start and to be able to utilize this app as the season unfolds.
Doesn't work. Got the free promo code when app came out. Nowhere to put it. Doesn't show me anything other than Feb of 19. Will stick with the paper version
Stay away. They take your money and you get nothing in return. I paid the $9.99 then you have to pay an additional $24.99 to use it. Maybe false advertising. And no one responds to your comments. Do not fall for it as I did.
Pay 9.99 to get access, apparently thats not what you need. Then they want 25$ to get what you thought you were getting for 9.99. Google wont refund. Nice scam
I'm writing another review. Tried to update my old one but wouldn't let me. I wrote them an email yesterday, two actually. And they responded to both today. I read comments on how they don't respond, well they responded to me and I figured out the issue I was having. As far as moonguide goes, looksgood and is up to date. I read somewhere that it wasn't up to date and the info they provide you can get for free I don't know about all that but I'm going to try it this year. I'll update after season
