Great app to add to the toolbox for deer hunting. Like all tools, especially when weather is involved, it won't be perfect by itself, the user still needs to apply experience with other factors, such as rut, hunting pressure, etc.I would love to see a rut activity, rut calendar by region added if possible. Something that shows the actual historical dates of the phases for my locale, as well as the prediction for this season to allow for planning. I really appreciate the partnership with OnX, tha

Would like to be able to look at and rate days in the past since I sometimes forget to rate them the same day. I would also like to look back on certain days to see what the conditions were. Weather information was about as accurate as any weather app I've used. If the missing features I listed are in the app, then I didn't see it and would rate higher.

Just downloaded and am getting used to the app. So far I like it. Would like to see a general wind direction on the daily summary versus just an aarow indicating wind direction, ex: wnw, s, ssw, etc... on the hourly tab, it'd be helpful to have the ability to zoom into the day you are looking at to get specific hourly forecast for just that day versus having it show everything. It's almost distracting by all the hourly data throughout the week. It's obviously beneficial to be able to view the week hourly to see how the weather is changing but it'd be nice to be able to choose only 1 day to determine the weather for that day and that day alone.

So far app looks very informative, obviously the more useful info requires a paid subscription, but it's a business. My only issue is even after unistalling and re downloading a few times , I cannot get a shortcut app icon to appear. I have to go into play store and search for it each and every time. Update: was able to get my short cut issue resolved. Upgraded to subscription. Super cheap and very informative for a rookie like myself

Great app! Just wish is was more diverse in location. What I mean by that is, I live & hunt in Mississippi, there for the 13 phases in the app does not correspond at the same time of the year in the south as in the mid western states. Other than that I love the app. I paid & would recommen paying for the deercast elite to take advantage of everything this app has 2 offer.

What a shame, this is a pretty good idea and has a handy kind of style the could be one of the most highly sought after apps in the store for hunters and outdoor adventurers. But... its the most laggy, freezing, glitchy app ive seen in a looooong time. Its got a good following and been out plenty long enough to get around this. Feels like a poor early beta release thats months away. All the best features in the world don't mean jack if its so slow and glitchy to be of any meaningful use. I'd use for sure if it was a smooth and polished product that moved as fast or faster than I do. (Like every other app does at this level.

This app was amazing when it first came out. Hints why I subscribed (paid) to the app. I love everything hunting!!! And have always loved the Drury series... my favorite! But, this year, this app has been buffering nonstop. I thought it might be my service, so I went to the store and had them run test. Fixed a couple little issues with my phone. I still had the same problem with the app. So, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled. Still the same issues. So now I am here leaving a bad review.

Been using this app for a couple of years now. Hard to say whether it's accurate or not, but overall, I can say that it trends to be. If the app was rock solid, I'd have no issue forking over $10 or $20 a year. But weather changes literally day to day, hour to hour. So I'm paying for information to get a 5+ day heads up, only to have weather swing wildly on me and then the "Deercast" is useless. Only reliable for 36-48 hour windows. Anything more than that is totally unreliable. Save your $.

I use this app with Pro level. It is very accurate. I look at it daily during hunting season. Working outdoors and travelling around during the day, always me to compare while a field or work.The daily break down is spot on. Times when it predicts good or great activity most times I'm seeing deer. It does seem to under shoot movement at times when it says ok or low in my opinion. Great tool for the avid hunter!

Very informative and enjoyable app. I know everyone expects to see the best movement of their life when it shows great, but the app isn't fool proof and will not do the work for you that is required to kill a mature deer. That said, I've found it to be reliable overall as well as having the content from past years that was on the DVD series and for $20 dollars, the old school videos make it worth every penny. Combine that with the information being made available its worth more than the price

The app has a lot of lag in it and on my Android phone the videos will not go to full screen when the phone is flipped side ways. Have talk to support a couple times. I thought there was a up date coming. I live in the south and surprisingly it seems to be closed. But I'm am a big dog hunter so know the daily trends is not that big of a deal was hoping to get to watch the videos but not watching on that small of the screen. Will cancel subscription unless there is a update.

This is a fantastic deer app., has tons of extra information not only on forecasting movements and weather, but also has some great videos related to many aspects of hunting. The app. is easy to navigate through and you can customize it in a number of ways. Can't wait until deer hunting season to use it.

great app. I use it every time I go into the woods. Definitely has helped me to hunt smarter. I watch all the video content and find it entertaining and informative. Two things about the future---please keep any future releases free or low cost. Also have feature where I can look back a week so I can compare my trail cam pics to the Deer cast for that day.

This app is very accurate. I use Deer Cast all the time it don't work just for deer but other legal wild gam. Very well for hog hunting. Thank you all for this app.

There are many Deer Hunting apps out there. I haven't found one that is 100% accurate. With that being said, DeerCast works for me. I fact, I love it! It is educational, informing and fun. I believe it teaches me about why the deer are moving or not moving. Moon phases, barometric pressure, temperature, etc.. I did pay for the elite. I think $20 a year is not that much money for the knowledge and intertainment you receive.

I've been using your app for a few years and have relied on it for many hunting trips. The more you alter the app to appear like a social media platform the worse it gets. Last update seriously lagged out the app. Even seeing the 10 day forecast I pay for is a struggle. Saved locations is very slow and has caused the app too crash on me. Please separate your deercast TV and deer forecast sections again. Having them together just slows the app down.

The weather tracking aspect has been fantastic in my opinion and been accurate every time. Now being a big fan, I can't see paying for the app in the coming years. That being said, you'd be paying for the video conent, not the hunting aspect of it, like anticipated. If you guys have a youtube channel (which I follow closely) there is no point in subscribing and paying a premium when there are other free apps that can give you weather. I understand you guys have incorporated phase breakdown into your app but the above average hunters out there and myself know how to play the weather. If it were to stay free or being a one time purchase price than I could see buying it, but not yearly subscription, just trying to put in some friendly feedback. Thanks for your time.

I use this app fairly often. The algorithm they figured out works amazingly. I was able to use this app as well as my many cameras to pattern several deer which were taken off our missouri farm this 21' season. I'd be lying if I did not believe this app at first. My thought was "yeah right there's no way they could of done this." But after some experimenting I'm eating crow. Besides the movment indicator I like the hour by hour movement tracker along with the weather report.

I began using this app mid way through deer season, just as chase phase started. First day out the app showed ok morning poor afternoon. Since during the week I have to go when opportunity arises, I did and saw just a couple deer. My next opportunity out was a great rating, and deer movement was off the charts running everywhere. Deer movement and the app seem to match up pretty well. I use it before each hunt now. I love the videos of each phase broken down.

This app is easy to use and has tons of information for all phases of the rut that are extremely useful in preparing for the next time I go out into the field! Not to mention all of the weather info etc that will help you understand the best times to hunt, which helps me since I dont have that many times to be able to go hunting. Being able to increase my odds through using this app has helped me harvest deer, when otherwise I was constantly eating tags.

I only give it a three due to that fact that It does cost money. I do not have the finances to pay for the full app every year however I understand that they need to make their money somehow. I'm sure its worth it if you can afford it but at this point it's not possible for me. Also, they used to give you three days free forecast and now it's only the day of. Which is unfortunate that they backtracked from the free versions original benefits

Awesome app. for anybody who deer hunts. This app is on with the weather data. saves a ton of time in stead of checking multiple weather apps to determine best days. It is a must have easy to use loads great. Video library is amazing. The only thing that could make it better is a page for past history. To compare to trail cam pics. Also more hunting tip type articles to read. I am on this app more than facebook!!!

At first i was skeptical. After listening to the WCB podcast talk about it on what seemed like every episode, i figured why not add another tool to the shed. This app has made a huge difference in where i should be hunting based on the movement projections and barometric pressure. It really, really works! Thanks Drury folks for another great tool!

They used to have a 5 day prediction feature and the 10 day and the shot placement feature were extra. Now they show your current days forecast and nothing else unless you pay for pro. Then for the 10 day it's elite. It's predictors were fairly accurate, but not worth paying 20 a year for. I'd pay 20 once to get this data. Maybe. They had me sold until they wanted more money.

It's very helpful but I worry about people who take it too seriously. If you only have a few days to hunt or hunt infrequently, don't use it as an excuse not to get into the woods. Yes, it definitely correlates well with cold fronts which are key times to be in the woods, but don't let it prevent you from enjoying your hobby or passion. Overall, a great (and revolutionary) app that is just another tool for the tool belt.

Most definitely is not what I'm looking for. Wind is always never correct. Which is the main reason I wanted the app. As I thought that you can map out on a map where you find deer tracks and where you set up your whole property with a map. Man was I wrong. Bought the app 2 days ago and cant seem to find where I can try to get a refund:/

It's pretty slick. I wish you could get weather for your exact location like on a Garmin inreach. A few times I've gotten the weather for the nearest town and the wind is totally different. Also in their phases they say the end of November is the end of the rut. But here in Montana the last half of November is where it's at. But that's circumstantial.

The free version of this app has been severely throttled back from last year. I don't have a problem with the developers charging for the new features, but to charge for the same features that were free last year is not nice. The free version this year is terrible, you can't plan ahead as you could last year, unless you pay. Please revert the free version from last year.

Has been pretty accurate, but mainly helps you visualize why certain conditions are better for whitetail movement. Don't weigh on it too hard. Another tool in the box. App has been stable and doesn't have bugs. Only pay for pro version, since weather chances in 5 days often here.

Love the app and the content. Im not sure if you all take suggestions but I think it would be awsome to have in the future some kind of file system where each user can create a profile and log how deer movement was throughout the season on each day so that they could look back on it the next season to try and compare to when deer are really moving on their land that they hunt.
