It's a good tower game that I could give 4.5. But 3 because developers are stack on Defenders 2. They think adding towers and new creatures would do. Ok can not play over two years and keep enjoying. I am in getting bored. No wonder some leave and come back later. I have great idea how they can make 3 and incorporate it in the current on. People love a challenge. Finish a game and satisfaction of winning.

The game itself seems pretty good. Interesting selection of towers that's restricted more by luck than by story progression. My biggest issue with the game, and why it only gets 2 stars, is the amount of crashes with it. Most of the time, after I finish a level, I get stuck at "Please wait...." and it'll stay there forever. Forcing me to close the app.

Still trying to determine how balanced the game is. But overall challenging and addicting. I would definitely recommend. Not a super casual game. You will need half hour blocks of time to really get into it at least. A little confusing in the beginning as to how to level things up and what is important but can be learned with a little patience. Only rated 4 stars because of difficult understanding how the game is balanced and lack of tutorials other than the basic ones.

Real fun game. Surprisingly deep, and a surprising longevity. Frequently, the sound & music comes back on for no reason, and if you are in a game you can't turn it off. There should be better management of runes and cards, since there is a lot of them. Also, when they do occur, the server maintenance takes a real long time. Update: Twice I've contacted you through the in game support about the sound. No contact or fix.

Great game with plenty to do, exactly what you want from a TD game. There are some downsides though, much like the other reviewers I've found the pricing for extra materials ridiculously expensive. The pricing is somewhat misleading too, you don't get everything for premium pass, for example, the £4.99 pass on hard mode challenges only applies to one column of materials. This wasn't stated while going through purchase which is somewhat a con. That said, this game is well worth a try.

Overall, the game is good with a variety of towers, monsters, types of maps, and it's fairly fast paced. A big positive is being able to pause mid-fight and come back to it when you get interrupted while playing. The big negatives are the length of some of the ads (for extra rewards), the false X placements on the ads, and the rediculously expensive in-game purchases (pay 2 win).

A good tower defense game, decently challenging and slow to progress which might put some people off. If you're looking for a long-term game then this is a good choice but Tetris it is not. Balance at the 20-30 level range is a little rough with air enemies frustratingly overpowered, can't be slowed or very effectively damaged making some battles impossible. It's possible I've just gotten very unlucky in my towers. Every decision in the game feels important, a sign of good dev work.

It was an exceptional game. I've spent real money as well as grinded. I've had the game since launch. Then stopped playing for about a year because it became tedious and repetitive. I started again due to the ship and characters but even they seem obsolete. More like a gimmick. I'm level 88 having not played for a year. It is a good and the developers are not greedy. Obviously they're here to make money but they're not greedy. Only problem is the server can be very slow

The latest update is a disaster. The cost to battle the mines have increased dramatically, while the resulting rewards for winning the battle had decreased significantly. For players in higher level, it is a waste of time receiving useless low level rewards. Resource costs used to do battles used to vary from wood, water, poison & silver. Now all battles require silver. Lot of it!! Some require as much as 10K silver while the reward for winning all hard levels of a battle will result in only about 2K silver. For new players, it will be a real challenge to level up. If one chooses to pay for premium, there is a small improvement. But how many can afford $15.99 for 15 days which results in about $400 each year!

Had to change my review from 5 to 4 stars because of the awfully frustrating new mine system and overly complicated process of contacting support. Not sure if this is a bug or by design, but I'm at level 55 and none of the fire mines in the game are becoming available, there's just an option to "retreat" when I click on them, but even if I try that, nothing happens. This limits most upgrades and slows progress. (EDIT: MINE SYSTEM FIXED, THANKS. CHANGED RATING BACK TO 5 STARS)

The changes require payment for advancement. But you can't even play, because of constant server updates. Hey Nival, with all the extra money you collect, buy a spare set of servers to hot fix you issues. The lagging of selecting a card, and outrageous game crashed on a high end phone are inexcusable. Stay away. Update, the supposed fix adds to the problem. There are so many upgrades to do, each one takes 30 seconds or more. Late game, you need 1000's of upgrades, they game is broken.

The game is fun until you encounter the poorly-done PvP. Basically, you take a mine for all of 5 seconds before someone else takes it. This sets a higher level for the mine, which makes it impossible to take back until you level up some more. There's no grace period for this. Which means that just like all other mobile PvP games, it's very difficult for new players to break in and get materials to evolve towers to keep up with the game's difficulty curve. No point playing after about level 15.

Woo. Apr 22, 2020

To progress further into the game, you'll have to pay. They'll say you can get around it but you can't. Leveling up towers goes extremely slow and paying is not the issue, but the prices to pay are ridiculously high, you can spend hundreds of euro's easily on this and you still won't be close to perfect. It's fun in the beginning but this is just to lure you into the game of course.

The game itself is solid. It's likely the best TD game out there. However, when I got a new phone, I found there is no restore purchases option and instead they want screenshots of every Google play transaction individually. As restore purchases is fairly standard because of phone upgrades and replacements, it feels unprofessional and the customer service isn't very helpful.

The gameplay and concept is good, but it really feels Pay to Win. At first, the game is easy, but once you get to around level 15, the slow progression is just too limiting. It's literally impossible to play this game without the premium pass which is heckin expensive! The difficulty scales ridiculously, constantly pressuring you to spend more to progress because the "free" privileges are way too inhumane. Already spent money on this game and one of my biggest regrets.

Additional review to my original one. This is an amazing game. At a point they introduced a premium option that allowed for "faster gameplay" and faster rewards gathering. Being a top level player, and top in my country I decided to pay the monthly requirement. The premium became a habit and I enjoyed the game a lot. They DOUBLED the price now, I won't buy it again. Overall not a huge pay to win. Really fun and rewarding for a TD enthusiast. Once you get the hang of it you're hooked!

I'm not much of a gamer on my phone, but I remember enjoying tower defense games way back in the day, 2008ish. This def scratches that itch that I remember. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but overall I'm really enjoying it. It plays great, no glitches, visuals are very appealing and the gameplay is easy to pick up and run with. Great job!

It's okay, nothing like the original Prime Defenders on PC. The ad system is pretty heinous. I've just cleared level 60 and my towers are all but ineffective. Can usually clear 6 to 7 waves, now I can't clear the first wave. I hate mobile gaming for reasons like these. You end up spending AAA money for a shell of a game. I bought the mortar when I started playing but that is now useless a week later, it can't kill a single enemy.

Sab. A. Oct 24, 2020

A decent game that I have enjoyed playing but there are too many bugs. The biggest issue is when towers get damaged and you have a tower to repair them, it freezes the game but the enemies keep moving. I have lost resources and missed out on rewards because of this. So annoying. Hopefully the bugs will get fixed.

Good game. Plenty to do and lots of different styles of games, with loads of towers to choose and lvl up. My only bad experience was buying the raid pass for £4.99 and then finding it only lasted a week. That's a rediculous amount for such a short time and wasn't made clear on purchase. Could have bought a whole game for that.

Tough, with tons of tower types, subtle variations, and various upgradable spells. Actually, pretty much everything is upgradable, with runes for towers, along with the recent addition of heroes adding a new level of customization. Although it has been around for a while, obvious amounts of work and effort have gone into creating and maintaining this game.Worth checking out, at least!

Gar. S. Jan 29, 2020

Game receives regular updates however the last few have been pretty detrimental to the games experience. Rewards for doing missions are now close to useless for me, and I spend more time having to micro manage the influx of rubbish I keep getting than playing the game itself. Still the game itself is good, I can't lie about that it's probably one of the better/best TDs on the store...but it definitely comes with minor warnings now before delving into it.

Absolutely an addicting and fun game. I love tower defense, and the added concept of a trading card game adds a lot of complexity. The game does not require you to pay any money to play or win, but I've purchased a few things to support the developers. The best part is you can play a quick match or spend hours at once, it's a very flexible gameplay style.

eri. d. Apr 14, 2019

fairly fun game. it doesnt give a whole lot of direction after the tutorial, as in, you just play whatever missions are available or buy ones that arent. there isnt a set path. but i do enjoy the collecting and crafting apsect and appreciate the fact that i can get the strong towers for free. albeit with time invested. pay-to-win is never appealing.

Der. S. Dec 20, 2020

Good and addicting game. Purchasing premium and battle passes are tempting due to the 4x speed and the additional rewards, but the cost is obnoxious. $20 per month for premium, which at that cost should at least include the battle passes, but no. Battle passes are $5 EACH and run a week long. If I bought all three for a month, it would cost $60 a month, and that wouldn't include premium. I would pay for the battle passes if the $5 got me the three battle passes. Figure out your pricing scheme.

Jam. J. Jan 1, 2020

New Update brought New Problems. Collecting of rewards is tedious. Some matches the game ends with it going to the "Synchronizing..." forever. Game fails to load with the same Synchronizing message. Ridiculously hard to keep a resource point. Xmas update brought many issue with it and no fixes to previously reported bugs. DEV seems to be replying with an auto response about a setting for animation. Again, not fixing real issues.
