DeFit - Debugger of Fitness Apps

App does what it needs to, but ads are VERY misleading. I've installed a few of the apps that were in the ads on DeFit, always uninstalling them shortly afterwards because they were something completely different than what the ad portrayed it as. Now I just mute media volume when running an ad & try to ignore the visual aspect. Given you HAVE to run misleading ads to take full advantage of DeFit, the low rating is mainly based on ad accuracy.

Initially this app worked incredibly. Five stars. However it has lately been suffering from inconsistent support. As in other comments, I have tried all "fixes" including clearing cache and data of Google Play Services. This fix only repairs app for about a day, day and a half and the add loading problem returns. Adds could be moved to pop up banner adds and functionality switched to manual input so that we can run the debug without constant work.

The app has worked great for a good while, but recently it has started crashing. I've grown tired of having to constantly uninstall and reinstall the app just to get more time. I have tried combing through possible solutions (clearing cache on Google Play Services, resetting Google Advertiser ID, etc.) but nothing is working so far. Right now it just takes one single ad and then it starts crashing. Really hope this issue will get resolved as soon as possible, as it's getting really annoying.

Like some of the other reviews below. It worked flawless for a while. Now it won't let me watch ads for more time. Already tried the settings - Google- ads- reset advertising ID. Also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it still won't work. Problem started within the last 3 days. Before that, everything has been great.

Works great, unfortunately being able to watch ads to add minutes has stopped working for me besides the +60 minutes you can do without watching ads, hope it's fixed soon, I get ad n/a:0, the clearing cache in Google play services mentioned in a previous review did not work fixing it. Besides that it worked perfect

Works well, does what its required so fantastic work! Very helpful for development thank you! Is it possible for reminders when time is getting low? And/or for a longer max time? Some issues with loading ads, however I think that is a device error not app error.

Exceptional app! Works very well. I don't mind watching the ads to support the developers. I wish there are two options...1 time fee non-ads version and an ad driven version. Thanks again for this app!

Your new videos are not showing an "X" when they're done to return to the main screen. They just end and you're hanging there. Eventually you have to use the back arrow to return and then you don't get credit for watching the video. Please fix this. Other than that it's a great app.

I really like the app, would happily change it to 5 stars if it worked right. For a few weeks now the ad option is not working at all for me. The 60 minutes is nice but I'd gladly watch ads if it worked for longer times.

Just downloaded this and in the patch notes it says that one of the bugs that they've already fixed is background music playing but I still have this issue.

Works great except that I have to keep uninstalling it and reinstalling it to get the time. I don't want to hear update Google play services!!! What is the process to update cannot find how to do it!!!

I wanted to give this five stars because it worked perfectly for me for a long time, but recently it stopped offering ads. Now I mostly get Ad N/A: 3. Every now and then if I minimize and bring it back up it will offer one, but 95% of the time it doesn't. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Wondering if it might have been a Samsung update or something 🤷. It's still great, though, and you can click to get minutes in sets of 60 up to a total of 240 each time they run fairly low.

There are some adds that only show a certain app to install and the x on the top with no countdown. I've waited minutes with that open, downloaded the app, made profile on the app and still didn't get the minutes. I really don't know what to do with those adds, and they are the only adds showing up for me. Some of my friends that use it have a countdown on their top when there's an add showing a app, but for me it doesn't show.

This is an EXCELLENT app with just one issue. My "watch ad" box is stuck forever on "Loading", which means I can only use the free 60 minutes. I have signed out/in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. There seems to be no fix. HELP!! Edit: I see your response. That doesn't fix the issue. It's a nightmare having to fiddle with it every 60 minutes. I'll wait a week for a fix otherwise I'll be searching for another similar app and changing my review.

Works great! I've used it every day for about 3 weeks and no issues so far. Thanks for the helpful app! UPDATE: 1 month later and still going strong. Just need to restart the app every other day or so. So helpful! UPDATE2: 6 months in and still using it every day {on 2 phones now!} And I don't remember the last time I had to restart it or force close. Tha k your for the EXTREMELY helpful app!

Works great, no issues using pretty simple to operate with walk speed set on a slider. I'd like to see slower step options again (current lowest setting is 4km per hour or 116 steps a minute). I get this is the slowest someone is likely to walk but a slower option would then immitate more a moving about rather than being a constant walk at 4kmph from A to B. Otherwise nice work, keep it up!

App working Great, but 1 problem , we can add more than 720min (12 hour) , if this time limit increase this will be great help , otherwise every time looking time , it's boring.

I love using this app, I wish it had more debug options though like the ability to set a range of randomized speeds or set only a certain amount of time to be used, but even as is the app is perfectly usable. The transparency of using ads to make money off of it is very nice too, Ill gladly support this app via that as long as nothing gets locked behind a paywall.

No longer get time added for watching ads. I did try the developer suggestion to clear Google Play Services cache and storage and this did not help.

App not adding time after watching ads. It was blame on Google ads and not resolved. Doesn't work for me anymore.

Only being able to select the max mins (250) or the min (60 i think?) is far too limiting for debugging a fitness app. We need to be able to add 30min increments all at once, or set an exact end time amount, or select from multiple time options (30,45,90,120). It's programming guys. You can develop/test from home during Covid. Time for the next feature update! Otherwise works exactly as it should 95% of the time on samsung androids. Just make sure acct is the same, and no power saving on.

Love this app! I use it daily and rarely have any issues. I do have to reinstall occasionally due to the app crashing repeatedly but the reinstall fixes the issue. I wish they'd add a notification for when your timer gets low so you don't lose out if your device didn't sync recently. Overall, its worth watching the 15-30 seconds worth of ads.

Just had a update n now my videos to increase time wont load at all!! Edit: team got in contact with me straight away n resolved the issue, the app is great again lol thanks guys

This app works great, does exactly what I expected it to. Only thing is I wish you could choose the amount of time to log at once. I don't know too many people who go on 4 hour long walks. Shorter time increments would be more ideal such as 30 min and 60 min options. More time options would have warranted 5 stars. Great job.
