DEGIRO - Stock trading

The app is OK, but has a few major problems. 1. Why can't we change the language of the app? This is also true for the website and really stupid. 2. The graphs don't seem to load when checking prices etc. I think this does happen sometimes, so is probably just a bug. 3. Fingerprint login needed. Probably the only app I use where authentication is required and fingerprint isn't offered.

I use this for buying shares and ETFs. Great app. Easy to use. My only complaints: Animations could be a bit better and smoother. At the moment there is a feel of using a webpage instead of an app. But all functions are great and works well. No dark mode. Terrible to use at night, which is when I actually have time to open it. Inconsistent langauge. With more globalisation and migration there are more and more English speaking crowd using this app. We need better english translations.

For a whole month I kept trying to create an account but the app "couldn't recognize security features" of my ID. Called customer support 5 times, every time they agreed that it should be accepted, I just have to wait a bit more. After a month I decided to try out a different app instead (don't want to mention competition), where I could set up an account, ready to use in under 5 minutes

My favourite broker, and the platform and the app are getting better and better, so many new features, I love the financials section. Few things that would be great for the platform would be if you guys can bring a chart of our investments with the percentage of the total investment of every single investment. Total return on investment on the portfolio. And also incremental share purchases would be great. Looking forward for the future changes that you have comming for us.

Works for basic trades but it's unreliable, especially during market surges and prone to regular technical issues. I've been fighting with them for 6 months or more after my cash account got accidentally blocked by a "technical error". Very bad customer service! They never reply or call you back as promised so just beware of the risks. Cheap trades but high risk if you try to trade rather than leave investments to sit there.

Well, it's basically the mobile trader homepage, which is okay... I am missing finger print authentication and something like watch lists and notifications. Also missing is the view of closed positions. Edit: Also sadly no dark mode!

Worst customer service ever! Since two months Degiro can't resolve the issue "withdrawal made to closed account". They don't communicate probably, don't respond on request for status, and seem to fail internal services processes. I lost all confidence and see no other way then to file a legal case to get my 'lost' funds back.

Only crashes since today. App worked fine so far except the biometric login which was lost upon every start. Now doesn't start at all anymore. Hoping for fix. Edit: after reinstall everything works as expected again.

Registration process was hard but after several months of trying I finally got all the info they asked. Now that I have opened an account. It took a long time to get used to the UI: It is not fríendly for new investors. The worst thing is that they charge you for EVERYTHING. So hold your breath when using the app, they may charge you for breathing too.

The user interface is not particularly nice, but it does everything I need. The only thing I hate is that it shows an incorrect value of total P/L, but this problem is the web app as well. Overall, I think the app is great.

Degiro's fees are really low and their asset selection is better than with some of the lower cost alternatives. I use Degiro with the vast majority if my investments. I am however dissapointed about the removal of custody accounts (existing customers can keep their custody accounts, which is nice). Their app's user experience is also inferior when compared to, for example, Nordnet or Trading 212, but it gets the job done. Overall, I would recommend this broker.

Everything is good so far. There are a few features that could potentially enhance user experience. Firstly, I'd like to be able to use a more advanced filter function to browse shares. At the moment, I can only search shares based on countries and exchanges. It would be great if I could do screening based on factors like sector & industry, market cap, valuation multiples, D/E, etc. Secondly, I'd like to see my portfolio value growth graph. I hope to see these features in future.

I gave Degiro a one star review before because of slow servers. Degiro since upgraded their servers and I gave them a five star rating. But now I'm giving them a one star rating because degiro has software limitations on the bids. When share prices are creeping fast and you want to buy degiro tells you you can't buy at that price and when the prices come down degiro tells you you can buy at the higher price hence you'll miss the TGV and end up in a steam engine instead and you'll lose real money

Easy to use app. Very clear on the prices and commissions. Lots of options/stocks/indexes. Good and precise information.

The app, as the website does not sort prices or performance. Searching should allow to sort results by some columns. Once you visit a particular stock and get back to search results, the app scrolls again to the top of the page and you have to scroll down again to where you were. It is somehow confusing to know what is the overall gains / losses and the daily gains / losses on the home page.

Beyond horrid user experience. The verification can only be done in an app which is incapable of focusing on a face, it simply doesn't recognize it. No instructions during the process, no way of contacting support during the process. If the last update is supposedly an improvement on verification I hate to think how it must have been earlier. Besides that, no way of changing language inside the app, a feature that most small retail websites somehow manage to have.

The app (and website) are unfortunately only offered in the language of the country you sign up in (i.e. I am an English speaker in Germany, but have no way to set the app or website to English from German). This means that I haven't been able to successfully use the app. I hope that a future version of the app and website will allow this. Update: App is still only in German when registering in Germany. I'm sure its the same for other regions where you cannot change this basic setting.

Unfortunately the app is just a container for the mobile website, being that way it slows down a lot the user experience. The charts options are not great compared to other brokers, and the overall user experience isn't great. I'd suggest hiring a UX Designer that actually do some research first before shipping a product like this.

I take back my last review. The app experience is absolutely terrible. It's very difficult to find a specific ETF with the search and navigation around the app is frustrating. Graphs don't appear to update to reflect current price. I'd really like to move to another broker but investments are here now.

impossible to verify my account. It just does nothing after entering my info and scanning my docs, useless ATM as other users say in most recent reviews. UI is really bad, sometimes they do not show you the graphs for some time periods, specialy long ones. Navigation is a mess. Slow when you have to buy/sell and will make you lose some good opportunities.

I wish I could give zero stars. I have spent almost 1 hour to create an account but it didn't work after going repeatedly and following all steps again and again. The Authorization process is so horrible and irritating, it is getting stuck every now and then. At the end it throws an error that says ''Due to security reason your account can't be created".

I had a lot of hopes for this app, but what a disappointment. In a super international world where many people live and pay taxes out of their home country as expats, the app will assume the language of the country you live in and doesn't allow you to change it. Imagine for example to move to China and have to do trading and investment in Chinese on the app. With all due respect is ridiculous! You are losing me as a client and you will lose many more if you continue not changing this.

I'm using the new version and there is still a lot to improve. Looks still way too busy and not clean at all. Major bug: none of the date filters in "overview/overzicht" works. Date doesn't change when new date is set. Overall a bit better than before but can't say it's worth more than 3 stars.

Missing biometric authentication. I would love to have features to quickly sell all for one stock and to buy a stock for the remainder of margin. But useful for the purpose of quickly checking something too horrible isn't happening and doing a small adjustment to the portfolio accordingly while travelling/in the pub etc. Or just for staring at the big green numbers :).

The platform is great and also the app. Seeing good improvements and features being added. But it is unacceptable that servers seem to be down so often. Very often a login is not possible and timed-out. In times where infrastructure can be added on the fly this should simply not happen.

Lacking many features, I cannot set an order after 23:45 so I have to wait until the next to set the order. I can't set orders above 25% current prices... Used to be good like a year ago

Generally poor performance, app is down again right now, which should be unacceptable. I think expecting a 99.5% up time is reasonable (considering the amount I am paying in transaction fees), but I feel you are not anywhere close to that.
