Del Taco

Great app very easy to use. Would be the best if it could only remember my credit card details when I tell the app to save a card. "This has NEVER worked". And would be nice if we could look at all of our rewards options at check out. This way I don't have to rebuild my order if I change my mind. Still really like the app. just a few ideas on how to make it even better!

I went to order 2 del combo burritos from the app, which are 2 for $6 at the location. However the app would not add that discount, and wanted to charge me the individual price for each of them. It makes me wonder how many other things are being overcharged in the app. Just go in person, you will actually save money that way.

Online ordering is great, BUT there seems to be a bug that a saved credit card will never work after it is saved. The transaction is always declined. If I delete the card, and re-enter like it's new, then it will work. But it makes using the app way less convenient than it should be!

This app is pretty good now. Has almost all items and is easier than ordering/paying at the restaurant. Still have to wait for your order to be made starting when you get to the counter or drive thru though.

the old version was a gold mine of food deals that could be used to buy lots of del taco below cost... I lived off it for years. now the new version cant be abused but it still works well without glitching and has some decent deals.

Great app. Occasionally you have to up the screen brightness for it to scan. Free food is awesome. Only 1 complaint= the free or buy 1 get 1 items are only valid for 24 hours then they disappear. Not cool. I cant always get there for a 1 item deal.

Needs a more user friendly deal system. If I want a deal it should just put the items in your bag and automatically apply the deal. Why would i want a deal and not get the items or the coupon? Also ranking up rewards could stand to be a little more lenient.

New review: I'm dropping my stars down to 1. The app is slow, there's never any deals, and I swear it reset my points since I last used it. I don't go to Del that often so I'm sure they just expired but seriously there are 0 offers on my app, also I STILL can't view the menu on the app? Why? What reason is there to not have the menu? Original: ehhh the deals are fine but other than that not very useful, i cant even find the menu, is there seriously no way to view the menu?

Really frustrating trying to use those reward offers, uninstalled. Always says there's an error. In my opinion when you select an offer it should go straight to those damn menu for you to put them in your damn bag/cart or customize them.

App says 2 free tacos with any purchase for downloading the app. It's a lie!!! I tried to use the offer, but it kept saying I did not have the required item in the cart, so it refuses to give me the free tacos. I don't know what the required item is, as it states clearly " with any purchase" but after trying for 30 min I tried to contact support. They have it where you can "leave feedback" but do not actually have support for the app. At least none I could find... App deleted. Went to Taco Bell.

Worst food app ever Trying to simply look at the menu to send an order to someone driving to the store and it makes you sign up for everything location services texts messages and I still didn't even get to the menu.... We went to BK instead

After they redid the app late last year, there have been multiple updates to the app that have ironed out most of the bugs. Coupons are now usable again, and I haven't had any issues placing orders or logging in. The new rewards system is pretty simple, and the app overall is easy to use. The only two issues I have is that the saved orders feature saves the location the order was made from as well (though this may have been changed in a later update,) which caused me to place an order at the wrong location once. The other issue I have with the app is that it still gives less free offers than before they redid the app; Now I only get 1 or 2 offers every so often, usually for a new product. Before it was 3 or 4, and while they were mostly for their Beyond tacos, I felt as though I was getting more offers than I do now.

Mostly menu issues irritate me. A lot of the time you can't find the menu items you want. No point in ordering ahead if I have to add things on when I get there. I thought maybe some items were discontinued but I went through the drive thru and they have them all. Just weird. If they're using OLO as their operating system, might wanna make sure individual stores are not deactivating the master menu.

This app is complete garbage. Rewards are impossible to redeem. If there's one selected "unexpected error" pops up when trying to pay. Order history shows nothing. Useless.

Ordered 4/20 special, ended up paying twice the price for no discernible reason. Attempted to contact through the website, default loop. Goes nowhere. No clear way of resolving issue therefore complaining about app not totaling purchase correctly.

Hey Kim Morgan. You have to click on item you're trying to redeem (small circle to right should be filled) then it should scan ok and you get deal and points. If bar code still doesn't work you can go to the "More" tab on app then go to "My History" and then enter receipt info to get your points. Hope that helps (maybe update will fix problem)

I wanted to use the offer for the free chicken roller with $3 minimum purchase and my order was $7. When I clicked Let's Pay it just says unexpected error occurred, but when I take off the offer and click let's pay, it goes through. Disappointed tbh

I wish I could give negative stars. I installed the app and placed an order to pick up at the drive through. I told them I had a mobile order for my name they said pull forward. It took several minutes because of the people ahead of me in line. When I got to the window they said there was an error and the order was reversed. I said what does that mean and they said I should just call customer service. So no food they didn't even offer to have me pay for it there so I waited in line for nothing.

(1.) Needs NOTES section so the user can provide instructions like "NO ICE" (2.) When opening the app, you need to click like 10 times before you can find the menu. The menu should be the FIRST thing to show when opening the app (3.) App needs a dark theme, it's blinding at night trying to order from this super bright white screen.

I use the app all the time. Works well for the most part... however, the app/rewards program promises one free epic burrito rewards code every three months if you are Epic tier status... But this is a lie. I messaged support, they did not follow through with any helpful information.

love del taco the hwy 99 location is usually really busy but it's always been great service and all the employees even the higher ups are constantly making sure everything is proper and highest quality. the app is pretty simple and rarely crashes. unlike other popular restaurants apps

1. The stores are difficult to find my mobile oder 2. The only payment method is unable to delete, if my cellphone has a poor connection. My card is workable, but the app tells me expired. 3. The stores are difficult to order Beyond Epic Burrito or Epic Burrito. I get a wrong thing so often, according to its price.

Borderline spyware with how they are tracking app usage. Payments don't work correctly. Can't add a gift card. Del Taco used to be my favorite and has quickly become one of my least visited restaurants.

The deals the old app had were far superior to what this app offers. It's almost ironic, even though I'd use the old app to save some dough on my purchase, often times I'd spend more because I'd feel justified; in my mind I'd, be like: "I just saved 3$, now I have more to spend!" Now the deals are so sparse, I haven't been to Del in weeks, go figure!🤷‍♂️

This app was better before the update. I would use it for the numerous offers/coupons it had. Now it only has 2 or 3 and none of them are to my liking most of the time. Update: One of the worst designed apps ever. Not intuitive at all, please put the app back to what it was like a year or two ago.

The app doesnt work. I try to scan the bar code every time I go to del taco but it wont go through. Its not scanning. The mannager here has to apply the discount in a different way but I get no points shown on the app. Very disappointed. Going to uninstall. No reason to keep it if I cant get any points.

I feel like I'm getting a deal compared to taco bell they also keep the items I like on the menu. except for the chicken crunch burrito. that was sooo good and I wish we had them still. id even pay $2 for them now.

Sent an order to one store, but the app sent it to a different one. Had to drive to the other store to go pick up my order. It was very frustrating. Food was good though.

In the app, you supposedly get to choose what communication methods Del Taco can use to send you offers, etc. So I chose NOT to get marketing texts. Less than 30 seconds after signing up, what do I get? A text message. Had to reply STOP after I had already opted out in the app from the get go. Not a great intro to the Del app. Respect my privacy and communication choices!

If I save a card, it always gets declined and/or invalidated the next time I try to use it. I don't have this issue with any other app. Also, if I delete and re add the card, it works fine, but only one time. Frustrating enough to where I usually give up in disgust and go to another restaurant.
