Delectable Wine - Scan & Rate

Really like this app. Great at detecting labels and filling in information about the wine for reviews. The UI can be a little difficult at times (lack of continuity from screen to screen) and there's no way to just access the shopping option. A good UX overhaul would help take this app up to a 5-star rating.

It didn't have some of the features I've come to expect from this kind of app, and it has some emphasis that doesn't really align with my views on wine. Which is fine; this app is not for me. But as soon as I logged in to this app, it started sending me spam emails which I never excepted to receive. And there is no way of deleting your account within the app. And it has been several days since I asked customer support to delete my account, but I still haven't heard from them. So now I'm stuck with this sub-par app sending me spam emails.

The app itself is good. It identified a wine that another app couldn't. But the developers have an exaggerated opinion of themselves. They keep sending daily notifications that I don't want. I've turned everything off that I can but the notifications keep coming in every day at noon. I will be installing this app soon if this keeps up.

Where the cool kids post their empty bottles. At least it was at one point. App is possibly abandoned? No Android updates in over 2yrs, same for iOS minus a small patch last year. Maybe this proved too hard to monetize for Vinous? Oh well, I still appreciate it for what it is. Fiddly and glitchy, but core functionality is mostly worthwhile.

Sometimes hard to enter info and save description. Love being able to keep history of vintages. Would be better if you could do a search of your personal entries.

4.5 stars...very fun app to record, rate, and review all the fine wine you drink! Label recognition using your camera is terrific(they are quick at identifying any wine labels that it does not identify). Easy to use and fun community of users to learn more about wine. Only issue...I need to reload the app once in a while when I get strange error messages opening the app.

The photo feature is great and it's pretty easy to correct a misattribution. I'm on a Google pixel 3a, and there's a pretty major flaw that causes the app to stop and close when I actually want to enter a rating.

Easy to use, label ID is correct 99% of the time. Love being able to make notes, record the year, and rate for future purchases and sharing with friends. Edit: i *cannot* find my wine history anywhere. I can enter new ones, but there is no access to my history.

I installed the app and I can't add a photo to my profile. It just hangs for minutes and does nothing. I get an error message "API Error 500: internal_server_error" when I tap on Check price. Same happens on the iPhone. What is the problem? Fix ASAP or we will uninstall.

Not impressed..... First bottle I scanned was incorrectly identified as a blend. After editing, it showed me the correct label. It then crashed with an internal error.... Not impressed to be asked for contacts permission either....

Great app to remember wines. If there would be a feature to save private comments to each wine (e.g. for note the store where it was bought and price) or to create own lists (e.g. for drinking situations like 'game dinner', 'social evening' etc.), the app will be perfect.

The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because for the last year it's been crashing every time that I add a wine. I have to reopen it going to the wine at my rating et cetera. Outside of that it's great. I love being able to see what I've drunk how I liked it and when I'm ordering wine I can refer back.

I like the concept more than other wine rating apps, but I feel there is often a lag with updates showing on your account and it can be quite buggy at times. Still, the focus on wine tasting, not buying, makes this app stand out from the rest

use it a fair amount. works well. like the photos and ratings by other users. Love the feature of taking a photo of the label to automatically find the wine. Works every time.

This is a simple, straightforward app. I am no pro or conneseur -- I simply like to remember what wine I enjoy. I wish that I could take a second photo, for the label description. The narrative (vinyard, region, terroir, history, etc.) is one dimension of enjoying wine and I wish I could account for that here.

Overall it works fine. Sometimes the photos and comments don't always sync and there appears to be double entries...one with just the photo and the other, comments.

Works great! They find your wine if it isn't in their library. So far I'm very happy with the app. I've tried a few that in deleted from my phone but this one a keeper!

I can't change password in the app. The link sent to my email doesn't change the password. When I go to the browser and try to change the password from there, I can't enter settings of my account - it shows as if I were logged in as someone else!

The label recognition software is 100% useless and will just say something completely random. The only way to get an accurate identification is to take a purposely bad picture so it gets sent to an actual person.

There seems to be a bug in the latest version. A weird text keeps appearing on screen referring to "code 1 sqlite error" Thanks for fixing this. Works well now, so you get your stars back :-)

Most of the time I get reviews of the wines I am looking for. Sometimes the year is off, but after correcting the year and wine type I do see the reviews. People who gave reviews are good at describing the taste and worth of the wine. I wish more experts contributed their thoughts as well. I do find this app very useful. Thanks.
