It's cool, but most of my effects do not work such as candle flicker and kaleidoscope. I lose bluetooth connection after 1 to 2 hours also. This app is in desperate need of an update. I have put up with these issues for well over a year. I will not recommend this bulb / app to anyone.
Love the way they have several different modes to them. You can be seasonal, set in a holiday, support your favorite sports team. You can just sit back and let the lights guide you through all the blends of light on the mellow color wheel. You can pick 5 of your favorites and quick save them, "Just make sure those are your 5 favorite...still trying to digure how to reset those 5. The wife has differrent favorites🤨. I have a different brand of lights in the fan cave and theae have tons of very cool options compared to a solid string of blue or one of green like those have. Putting the controls on blue tooth is shere genius!!!! I always have the phone handy. Always know wherr it is. Want more lights for the game room bar area when it is completed.
Needs an update. App does not keep sync with Bluetooth in bulb. I have to search each time i use the app. This app wants me to update outside Google Play and I find that unsafe n weird since the original app is on Google Play. Revogi...I will not update outside Google Play (Revogi is the maker of this led bulb).
It works, unfortunately it times out and you have to reconnect it. Everytime my ohone locks itself or after a certain time period, it disconnects from my phone. It's annoyong as hell!
Color palette works but if I try to switch to the normal non-colored palette the app crashes every single time. Deleting and reloading the app didn't help either. this issue needs to be fixed.
Connection is always spotty at best. I connect and set it on a setting, 2 minutes later it disconnects and doesnt do anything. too inconsistent.
Buggy app. Has tough time connecting at times and force closes often. Bought this so I wouldn't have to get up to turn the lights on and off and in the end I still have to do it manually.
used to work, then it stopped displaying correctly, now it's just a white screen after start, guess my bulb is manual again for now. ps: downgraded to an older version 1.61 to get it to work again.
Often disconnects from the light and can't find the unit. Other than that, it works great. Love the sleep timer.
*Updated review 3/21 Developer is a far bigger pig than I thought previously. Only reason whatsoever the app was updated to v1.65 was their greed and selfishness compelled them to load the app with Google ads. Search for v1.61 apk if you want the same exact app with zero ads. A-holes! It appears this developer has peeping Tom issues. If you prefer the developer mind his own business, deny this nosybody ALL permissions, because NONE of them affect the application's ability to work with your bulb.
The app crashes a lot which causes me to reconnect to the bulb and even then it crashes again. Please fix it.
I like the lights but the app is really buggy, so times not evel letting me see the power button even though all lights are connected, sometimes just gives me a black screen
Very inconsistent connection. No simple way to reset bulbs once they won't connect to Bluetooth.
App doesn't wanna connect, bluetooth turned on yet it still doesn't wanna, you need to try better to get better reviews sir REVOGI.
Doesn't work. App loads, scans for device and then gives black screen. Useless.
I have to dismiss the update everytime I use it if I want it to work at all, even then It constantly needs to be un and re installed with just about each use.

Lights won't update
Great basic controls. The color wheel and color saving system works well, but the "effects" leave much to be desired. The "candle flicker" is a locked Amber at 100% intensify, the strobe is a fixed rate and again 100% intensity. I would like to be able to edit these effects in greater detail.
