The newest update made a small change that creates a big headache. For some reason, they designed the update to hide your phone's navigation bar. This means that everytime you open the app, which is multiple times per order, you now have to fight with your phone to switch between programs. Not something you want to be doing while driving. I tried sending an email, but the one they list doesn't actually work. Seems like this is the only way to send feedback. If this is fixed, app is 4 stars.
Hate the fact that I'm not seeing driver tip, driver commission, and total earned all three of which show N/A. When completing an order I deal with 3 pages that weren't a thing with the older version. 1st page asks to whom received order, 2nd window is tip, 3rd is a signature window. So these 3 new pages take up precious time that is wasted on every delivery. Don't even get me started about the app auto-rotating when I have that turned off my phone. Extremely irritated is an understatement
The new update works much better, but I do hope you take these notes into consideration. 1. We no longer have the ability to call the customer after it is delivered. I used this for no contact deliveries if they didn't pick it up before I had left. This was just to ensure they received it while it was hot. 2. After delivering, the "leave at door" note is no longer visible 3. "Leave at the door" should be an option for signatures. These are mainly to keep liability issues down for the driver
App is too hard to read with black background and dark blue lettering. Like that it goes to GPS when you go to enroute. Special instructions from the recipient should show on app at delivery time.
App doesn't lock auto rotate which is very annoying. As for the orders tab it's in dark mode for some odd reason while all the other tabs are in light mode
Might be my phone but seem should be easier to work app. The GPS always takes me to a different house number then the correct address. So that's a BIG HEADACHE!!
I did the update and now it won't let me login saying it doesn't recognize my email address that it is not on file.
When it works, it works great. However, if there was another app to do my job, I would use it. Driver logic keeps stalling in my android device. I frequently have to delete and reinstall the app because it just stops working. Also, the selection to let the dispatchers know that I'm going on a break after current run, also freezes my phone and I can't get back to the delivery address. Another great feature to add would be voice to text because I dont like to text and drive. But I can talk
Over all its pretty good. The problems I have are 1. When you have more than one of a specific item, the quantity should be to theleft of the item (not the left of the price) it's too easy to miss. It should also be highlighted. 2. There are FAR TOO MANY buttons to push (while driving) just too receivean order. 5-7 buttons for every order. How long are your eyes of the road when 2 or 3 orders come in at the same time? Skip the " are you sure" buttons and allow us to go back a step.
The main issue I have with the app these days is it no longer alerts me of new orders -- it used to notify me , but now I have to refresh the app every few minutes or otherwise my dispatcher has to message me that I have a new order. The app is slow, and you better have a good battery or you'll have to keep your phone on charge because it's very draining. Instead of drop-down menus for received orders, you have to open and load different orders separately, which wastes time, especially when you're floating multiple orders and you need to be quick. If you don't have at least a near perfect connection you wont be able to see or access any orders. And if the customer was going to place a tip on your phone at their door when this data drop happens, well you're not getting tipped unless they have cash. Otherwise, it works well enough to the job.
Inconsistent. I have to ACCEPT the same order multiple times for it to go through. It should download the data to the phone, rather than constantly needing a connection. When clicking GET DIRECTIONS, addresses are incorrect, as if it's going off of coordinates. No mileage tracker. This app really needs one given the line of work. I just had to reinstall the app so I could log in, even though my password was correct. This is unacceptable!
Absolutely horrible. The app actively harasses you, doesn't know how to handle giving you multiple orders at once (despite being set up to do so), and will even block you from receiving orders for not accepting your next order fast enough (while driving to deliver the last order it gave you). It will even call you on the phone demanding touch tone responses. Which is just as, if not more dangerous than trying to press buttons in the app.
From what I can tell after reading other reviews, lots of people have problems with the app needing to be uninstalled and then reinstalled. So did I. I also had trouble keeping my internet connection on. My boss said it was a problem with my phone. But I took it to my carrier twice and they insisted both times that the issue was the app. Times when I would be sent deliveries they wouldn't show up on the app. I like the concept of it, but honestly this thing just isn't reliable at all.
The app is decent (minus the common complaint of having to switch screens to see orders), but I would love for there to be some kind of push notification that let's us know when dispatch contacts us through the chat screen. A lot of time I don't know they have sent me info regarding my order or anything else because I'm driving and do not have the time to check the chat screen.
I really like the new delayed check in. but last run has not worked properly in sense version 2.11 I believe. The new sound and alerts are great. the pop up push notifications are also a great addition. I just cannot get the app to shutdown when my shift is over unless I force close it under the app tab. in was wondering if dispatch sees your on a last run when you flag it. It would seem only a command subroutine just on my phone. Thanks for your hard work.
This app is required for employment. It has issues. There is a weird bug that kills advanced calling on my Verizon note 9 and I can't fix without uninstalling the app and rebooting the phone. The app itself has serious lag at times and does not like to function over WiFi. The time sometimes for some random reason will 7 hours behind actual time. Please overhaul this app and work on compatibility with the latest version of Android. Also messages between me and dispatch will randomly disappear and the notifications will intermittently just stop working until the app is uninstalled and then reinstalled.
For 3 hours I have been trying to get this app to accept my log in, it always comes back as log in error. I have repeatedly uninstalled/and reloaded the app. I synced it with my laptop and it automatically loaded on my phone, same problem. This is the first app I have ever had this problem (nightmare) with. Cannot start working without it, hell I can't even log in.
I hate this new version I want to know how to go back to the old version if possible. Every time I get an order on there it makes this non-stop cash register noise and I cannot turn it off at all. 2 months ago when it first came out my boss had to uninstall this version and put the old version back on now I'm not able to do that either so I don't know what to do the noise plays over my phone calls over my GPS and it doesn't stop
I am re-down loading the app in the hopes it will work right today. ✅ App freezes up and I have to keep throwing it away, open it again (sometimes 15 times), then restart my phone if that didnt work. A dispatcher tried to tell me it was MY phone or internet...it was a ME prob I needed to fix in order to be able to work for them..I did EVERYTHING within my power to fix it, and learned it IS the app, not MY phone/internet!
1) why does the app run any active services when I've logged out and closed it? Still displays a notification in the status bar (Android). 2) Sometimes the notifications for an order or message happen, many times they do not... So orders get delayed or missed by drivers. This forces dispatchers to ALWAYS send a separate SMS notification to the drivers to confirm they've received an order. Seriously, this isn't the only app I have open, so I need it to point me when a new order arrives.
No notifications after the update, now I have to be constantly checking my phone to see if I have an order. Reinstalled twice and played with the settings to no avail. Edit as of 6/1/20, still having the same issue. There are days where I do get notifications, and now I'm not anymore. Once again constantly checking my phone to check for orders.
Buggy, crashes, misses up my text app my phone, can send or receive text, slow, unresponsive, and just over all a poor apps to use for any company where ppls are trying to make a live with. People job are dependent on this app to work so they can do there job. Trash app.
UPDATE:5/22 - Still having issues with the app. Before the update, I had no issues. Now there are nothing but issues. I log in, issues. I logged out, now I can't get back in. i have uninstalled & installed several times. This is a nightmare!
Too many buttons to press while driving, messages keep going while in route, doesn't bundle orders payout numbers don't match actual pay. Distracting while driving or doesn't make sounds must manually reload to see orders.
This app has worked well for me. I've been using it for a week to make deliveries. There is an issue when you have your phone in horizontal mode you can't see much at all you can't zoom out and select like what the tip amount is. The app is basically useless in horizontal mode other than that I have no complaint
