I like that it can pull data from exchanges. But only pulls spot account, no info regarding staked coins. So if you stake it won't show up and not accounted in overall balance. Also i would have expected that it pulled the dates from past transactions and show the PnL according to that. If i have to input all dates of transactions manually, it has no added value to me.
The app suddenly messed up with all my exchange transactions. Things from 2 years ago started to appear duplicated in my portifolio. I was wasting too much time trying to fix it, but I gave up. The devs of this app have beens focusing on adding new unnecessary features instead of making sure the current ones are stable and working well. Now I need to restore a backup and reconfigure all wallets and exchanges syncing again. What a waste of time.
Kinda works, but mostly doesn't. Seems to have incorrect transactions that show a balance from Binance and a few other exchanges that don't exist, barely syncs successfully, mostly shows an error and doesn't support Binance Earnings, works with public wallet addresses fine but exchanges seem flawed. CoinStats seems to work more reliably and shows a correct balance for the same exchanges.
Great UI but too buggy. This app freezes everyday almost. Edit: Follow 20+ crypto and stock. Navigate to the following screen. Then swipe up and down the screen to scroll. It freezes often. Very weird, can't tell if the swipe gesture detection is horrible or an update to the screen freezes the UI thread.
Even though I've been using Delta as my main portfolio tracker for years I have came across various issues: a. I was using the desktop version app (was synced with my android app version) for exporting my transactions in order to do my own calculations in excel. That (the export) stopped working since some weeks (seems that I have too many transactions, when I tried to test with fewer transactions it worked fine), I couldn't even export data for a single day from my portfolio. b. I then tried to split my latest available portfolio export (.csv) to 2 parts/portfolios [per time (yearly) periods] and re-import the backups (so that the exporting of two .CSVs could be possible and then to manually merge the files in excel). The windows app can not even import it's own exports (importing is full of errors) so I had to manually fix thousands of transactions which took me several days and it is still not done. c. When I eventually tried to re-import the two semi-fixed portfolios, the app did an import to a wrong portfolio (my main one) which became useless. d. I cannot revert to an earlier state, since the recovery code doesn't recover to the state from when the recovery code was saved. Please note that I was exporting .csv backups each day and that's useless (cannot be imported to restore transactions). e. The PRO version that I have, is currently showing different portfolios on each device (there is no actual sync between the devices). f. New API connections that I made do not work correctly (they don't sync to the portfolio they should have). g. No actual support was provided. The last feedback by email is that they no longer support the windows app, so basically I have to figure how to solve the issue my self. Meaning to manually fix thousands of transactions and even if I fix them the .csv exporting will still not work. h. Where is the backup and restore functionality? I had the same issue 2-3 years ago and Delta support team informed me that this was in the schedule to be implemented. At that time they did fix my windows app export and I could import it again successfully, now they did not do that. i. 60 euro for the PRO version, which does nothing correctly (but instead bringing more trouble to us) is overcharging. The Delta team should pay us instead, for bringing up their bugs. j. I'll stick to a simple excel file for the future. 20220407 update: I did contact support to the email provided in the reply to this review, and for now requested a refund for the PRO version until/if my issues are solved.
Has many unpopular crypto coins so you can see a chart of their history. Problem trying to organize coins in watchlist bc you have to hold each a certain length of time instead of clicking an edit button. So it's easy to accidentally move around coins or delete them while at the same time it's hard to intentionally move them or delete them for the same reason.
This app constantly crashes when the market is busy. ALL your data is stored offsight so that means you well lose access to it at the most important times. Not only that but the company the use for sign in access to other markets is known for stealing your data. Do not purchase this service or use it. I'm sorry I paid for a year before realizing.
Very intuitive design. Truly, hats off to the team. Awhile into using this app I ran into an issue with transferring my account to another device. Within 24 hrs, Riley, from Delta, reached out to me over email with a solution. Fantastic customer service (even for the free version). If they could incorporate US tax output into a web based version of it, this app would truly soar! I could get rid of my duplicate software for tax preparation purposes. Go team Delta!
No good - tries to do too much. I simply wanted an app where I can manually add all my investments both stock and crypto, so I can plan my diversification better. But it doesn't work! A simple aud transaction is fine, however I have a coin I purchased aud to bnb to guard and when I add this in it had the wrong amount, or adds the bnb to my porfolio with a neg balance and won't let me Delete it as it's apparently LINKED, hit yes and both get deleted. HAVE A MANUAL OPTION! AAAAAH
App has bugs which I've reported as requested by the support team. Unfortunately, nothings been done to remedy them. Moving on from what could be great but is let down by poor development progress. Update: these bugs are reported nearly 6 months ago and still persist.
The one reason I am giving it a 1 star rating is because delta is "powered" by etoro. Yet it is missing a way to connect the portfolio tracker to my portfolio. _____________________ It is currently 2 to 3 months later and I have yet to see integration with etoro while the developer replied that they were "in the final stages". Disappointed how long it takes to achieve such an important feature for their client base.
It's good, but when I try to connect my XLM wallet it says syncing disabled, too many transactions. This can't be right as there's only been money lodged into this wallet twice, but I tried out importing new transactions only, and transactions from today's date anyway, and it was still throwing me that error. It's pretty annoying as I don't want to have to keep coming back to this app to update every time I earn interest on my coins.
this app is fabulous. It helped me to accomplish which I couldn't do it on binance reporting itself. I was struggling to fetch data from 2017 for my crypto portfolio but binance failed to do so however when I found this app by a chance. Omg I could not be happier to see my old trades more than 6 years ago in deth details. Riley, thanks heaps for your help to sort out data sync between phone and my pc. Sunny Handa
UPDATE 12/25/2021 I can see a great improvement to the app. I reactivated it on the tablet. May I request for a feature to help improve UX - pls the app should not just show your "drifted image" due to poor network (or disconnection) and prevent users from accessing their portfolio. You can simply notify via a small message at the top/below of network connectivity and hence still allow users have/see their data/portfolio. It's not accurate. I spend all this time connecting everything, getting it all set up... and it's not accurate. It gives me a wrong number for every portfolio I've added. I can double check the coin ammounts are correct, it just doesn't have up-to-date, reliable, accurate info apparently. I guess I could use it as an approximation/estimation of my holdings... but I don't want an estimation. I want accurate. This is not accurate. Waste of time. Poor product.
Initially submitted a ticket last month, spoke w/ support and was assured there would be follow up or a fix in general. No communication since; I did troubleshoot notifications repeatedly until I finally got my alerts working. That took about 2 weeks I can say it's not an Android(it polled notifications until successful) issue, leading me to believe the backend isn't too receptive to my push notifications client. I like Delta for what it does, and support was great in our rapport
Don't understand why there is no cloud backup. Reset my phone and all transactions gone. Re: in that case, could you assist me to retrieve back my records after my phone is reset? I don't have any other phone back up so how to transfer to the new phone?
It really is the highest rated portfolio tracker. That's why I decided to try PRO version without even checking the app. If I weren't that silly, I would find out how some of my holdings are shown and others are not, and how some other day it is the opposite way. Worst experience ever, money thrown away.
great app but beware everything you do is saved forever. don't mess with app settings you can't reset the app even uninstalling. need new phone.
Great app, but feels like missing some customozation options. For example, In the portfolio view I would love to see both "daily" and "all" % change next to each stock at the same time. Not only the one you select on top.
Edit: The speed of this App has got a lot better and really responsive. Really good App using it almost daily now. 5 out of 5! Original review: Great tracker just insanely slow. I try to actively not use it each day, then do it all once / month, due to how long it takes to update it with new buys and just load content.
When a "high quality" tracker can't even import mutual funds. Tried to add my t.rowe price account and the app couldn't do it. Total trash app. How on earth you feel you can even have a PAY option when you dont even do the oldest and most fundamental of investment vehicles (mutual funds) is mind blowing. Uninstalling and wont be back
Would have been 5 stars but now the best I can do is 3. It once was a great app but now it crashes every single time I try to start it up. Completely unusable right now. App crashes each time before I even get to the passcode screen. Edit: Problem solved after re-install. It's 5 stars now :)
Frankly at first i thought this app was good enough but as time goes by, after 3 years, i noticed that the app just becomes slower and slower. It has a hard time loading pages or information to the point that it provokes misclicks or wrong manipulation. It's horrible to see that a once really good app just becomes more anx more unbearable to use...
