I can no longer build my own omelette on this app. I only get to choose from three options. Sad! This has happened a few times before with this app. I think the app developers are just weak-sauce. They're the watered-down ketchup version of app developers. Why would you water down ketchup? I dont know. But why can't I just order a sausage and cheese omelette? That, I also do not know.
Love the restraunt, but really dislike the app. It is always missing more than half the menu. It has almost become useless at this point since everytime you try to place an order it won't allow it. I don't know how or why it is so difficult to make this work correctly. When every other food place seems to be on point with accurate menus and ease of ordering. We have basically started ordering elsewhere because others Apps don't have these problems .
when selecting options, a user should be able to pick the same one more than once. i want double hashbrowns. to do that I have to pick it once, add three other items, then 'slam it up' to order extra for more money. not cool.
I tried to send feedback 3 times in the app, but each time it failed. Shocker. The space to review it here is too limited for what I have to say so bullet points will have to suffice. 1. Super laggy 2. No Value Menu (when people are already struggling!) 3. Trying to force a 20% tip at the end for a pickup order? Who gets that, struggling workers, the franchisee, or corporate? Completely, absolutely, 100 % ridiculous! I'm looking for a competitor who values my business more or staying home.
App sends you to their website. It is not user friendly at all. I need to change my email address and there is no way to do this. I REALLY want to be able to get birthday benefits, but there is no way I can. I do not get emails to the current email address on file, which has been an ongoing issue for that particular email with other businesses. Therefore, I want to change it, but am unable to do so. Also, want birthday benefits for my kids, but can't add them either. Very frustrating.
Interface is nice but I did have a issue. I ordered a Santa Fe bowl and decided i just wait tell I got there cause I would get there and order be faster. So the bowl stayed in the cart. 2 weeks later I decide to order in the morning around 4am. Well the Santa Fe bowl isn't orderable at that time. Which is fine except I was unable to edit or delete the bowl and I was unable to complete my order. Decided to just not order. Reinstalling fixed it though.
Completely botched my delivery order, and the feedback link is broken. I was missing an entire item and half of the food was burnt, yet I guess I can't do anything about it? Desperately needs a way to leave in-app feedback because this is totally unacceptable.
There needs to be a way to pay for an in restaurant meal on the app. I've done it online before, just not through the app. Add that (and make it easy to find and do), and I will change it to 5 stars.
Wish I could say no ⭐️ this app is trash and no update ever fixes it. I've never gotten past the login part it says my password is wrong even when I create a new password. I'm deleting this one and taking the loss and waste of time
This is one of the most troublesome apps i have ever used. The menu is not complete and differs from what is at the restaurant. Because the waitresses are exceptionally skilled, i keep coming back. The 3 stars at for the app, not the food or the service which are both markedly superior to the app.
It takes so long to order anything through this app. Its terrible! Nothing is grouped well. There are items in the wrong categories. And you can't order anything they sell through the app, it has a limited menu. The biggest issue is that it f o r e v e r to order anything. So many hoops to jump through. The person creating content for this needs to be fired and hire someone that understand the concept of "using the app for convenience".
When you click more than once for your rewards, the app says you have clicked too many times and will not show you the QR codes to scan. You will be forced to pay full price for that trip. This is intentional and evil. Bye, stupid app and Denny's.
Just what the hell is going on with your menu? Every time I turn around your taking items off, then adding them back on and again taking items off your menu. Got rid of your value menu which I don't get. I don't know of any other restaurant that adjust their menu every damn day. Your food is good but damn, stop f**king with the menu.
Good news! This app now seems to actually work. Sort of. In actuality it is I N C R E D I B L Y. S L O W. An exercise in pure frustration. It also is lacking a great deal in order customization. Terrible experience all around.
App is bad. It doesn't let me log in regardless of having everything correct! Even the website have issues loading.
You cannot cancel an order once it is created. Even if it is incorrect or made by mistake. This app is straight up thievery. Would give it zero stars if I could. Will be contacting my bank about this.
it works but can benefit from additional enhancements to increase ease of use. Like searching and voice control.
At first I want sure if it could be my device but seeing I'm not the only one in the reviews so.... One star!!! I can't even order anything with the app freezing or force stopping. ***Update*** it's still laggy and slow and very unresponsive.
Cannot get the rewards to load. We have 1/2 the month. Still no coupons like we were told. No free birthday dinner cause rewards won't load
I love Denny's for good food that varies from nachos, sandwiches, pot roast dinners to specialty pancake breakfasts and late night dessert pie. It's a great mid price restaurant and very family friendly.
I wish it would let me add other drink options besides coke, and the user-friendliness can use some work. It's a little hard to find the dishes I'm looking for but otherwise a pretty good app :) works well and I had no issues
Don't trust this app for a second. I tried to order a dinner delivery and was told the order couldn't be processed and to try again later. After 3 tries with the same result, I gave up. Checked my bank later and Denny's had billed me 3 times for the orders they said couldn't be processed. As a side note. Denny's is in general a 24 hour company, but if you are outside of East Coast "Normal business hours" you can't get any service. So trying to get the company to give me my money back is problematic at the best. Guarantee I will be giving poor reviews everywhere I can.
The app itself works, but is a bit sluggish. Better optimization for the animations and performance would make browsing the menu much more pleasant.
WORST APP EVER!! go online to update my profile you can't update your own information at all such as phone number, name for example if you got married. It doesn't let you update your profile online or in the app. They need to rethink this app and fix these issues. I uninstalled this app. I would rate 5 but you all need to update this app again and make it better.
This app is a joke. Told me my password is wrong, but its saved on my phone and auto fills. I tried to change it and it keeps saying new password must be unused. Now i have to sign in as guest and fill everything out every time. When im in a hurry, i wont be ordering from dennys. App was a 5 star when it worked.
online ordering does not have all the menu options. for instance like the 3,4,5,6 menu and something as simple as a side of gravy.
there's a bug, if you don't select something in the drop-down menu, (pancakes/slams/sides/etc) And go to another screen, the menu gets stuck on screen.. everything else works, it's just right in the middle of the screen, clothes and reopen up, no problems.. everything else is great
