Denon Cocoon
The Denon Cocoon App features premium music playback via your Cocoon for music stored on your Android smartphone and also allows you to create playlists. But you’re not limited to your own music; you can also listen to thousands of free internet radio stations from all over the world. When connected to your home Wi-Fi network you can further expand your choice of music by using the Music Server to browse and play all the music that is stored on your PC, Mac or Network Attached Storage (NAS) drive.

Need an update for Android version 10. My Denon cocoon is not working with latest Android. Please provide upgrade support. Such a big brand should not disappoint their fans and users like this.
has seemingly lost support for newer Android phones, like the latest Samsung Galaxys. app really needs an update

Would like to be able to stream Spotify or Slacker. The Cocoon has terrible streaming/Internet radio options. Also, the App on my tablet limits the volume to 50 out of 100. My phone allows all the way up to 100.
I downloaded this app for the Denon DSD 500 I recently purchased. For the 1st three days it was amazing. Now whenever I open the Local Music and scroll through the album list it crashes halfway trough. Awful. Needs a good update! A few days ago this was a 5 star instead of 3.
I too am sick of seeing cannot play, very unreliable and the cocoon is useless without the app. Very disappointed.
Very flaky. App crashes all the time when trying to play local music. Haven't tried much else but this is already enough to make me regret of spending so much money for something so inadequate.
App crashes way too regularly, doesn't play local music on my S4 kitkat. Internet radio is fine though.
Doesn't always work with internet radio, although local sources are fine. Sometimes freezes phone. Have reinstalled, see how it goes now! Update to review; 30th Jan 2014. App still frequently stops working and closes down. An automatic update has just been done, let's see if there is any improvement?
Limited app that Denon Unfortunately seems to have stopped updating. Poor display of client service/support from Denon
Doesn't work all the time. Sometimes one needs to rescan the Cocoon multiple times before it detects the device and connect. Hope a quick solution is provided for it.
impressive app but won't play music stored on my NAS ?? plays music stations fine on the cocoon but need to use other 3rd party software (Bubbleupnp) to get my Denon Cocoon and Denon AV system to work over wifi = crazy
The device is great and so is the sound, but this app just does not work. I haven't been able to use it in over 2 years. And when was the last time it was updated? I am utterly disappointed
Downloaded this, and nothing! Not one function works... I can access the settings, the power button is illuminated, and when I click it, it says "do you change the setting to turn it on from this app?" Doesn't matter if you select yes or no, still doesn't bloody work...
Doesn't play in the background. My phone will Dnla to my Xbox, which is 8 years old. My new Cocoon needs a terrible app. Surely this should pick up my existing m3u playlists??? It finds my music. It won't play continuously if it's in the background. Wtf? Surely that's the first thing it should do.

No longer Working !! I have three Cocoon units and now cannot use the app as it is outdated with no new firmware/software update. Denon you need to provide more support with users of your products! How do we continue using this product without any controls??? Very disappointed 😟👎
