Works as advertised. Starts the wifi, you connect, start this app, connects immediately. No ads (well, it's a captive wifi). Doesn't ask for crazy permission it doesn't need. The device itself works fine, next one I get will have higher rez, but it's great considering what we paid for it.

Great but of kit. Industrial electrical engineer and when other trades try and play hide and seek with our cables in confined places, this certainly does what it is designed to do!

You guys pushed a software update to the phone app and broke what was working just fine. No video anymore. The earlier version of the software worked flawlessly. 3.4.0 software + WF010 Camera is broken.

USB Type C audio cable from Samsung triggers a follow asking if Depstech shall capture audio. Even stopping app or settings app to wifi won't prevent that. This is a problem introduced in new version

If you have a wifi endoscope, READ THE DIRECTIONS and connect your phone or tablet to the wifi of your endoscope (in my case, WFE300_*****, just like the manual says!) in your phone/tablet's settings, NOT in the app. That means you won't have a wifi connection to the internet, becasue your phone/tablet is connected to your device instead. Then, when you open the app, it will already be connected, and will show you the video. Not the most functional app, but it does what it's supposed to and works fine.

Works great. Had a bit of difficulty initially, it would help if the app guided users to change their wifi to the camera itself and log in from there. Overall, once I got it working, it was a breeze and there wasn't much of a delay between reality and the camera's feed. You can record video or take pics, rotate camera angles, etc.

As others have said, can not get the wifi to connect from within the app. But I have found a work around, turn on camera first then go to your phone settings and check for the Jetion wifi connection, enter the default password and connect. I also tried to change the password once I was connected, no luck. The good thing is once connected, the camera does produce great optics (3 stars because good video, not connection in app) .

Follow the instructions. The setup screen on the app let's you change the SSID of the camera itself, and the password. It's not asking for your own network info. It gets one star from me as I get just a black image using my Samsung 7, even after allowing permission. It works well with the iPad, and it's got a bigger screen. Stuck using it that way for now. Make sure you change the resolution, it was set low by default. Hoping they fix it for android.

While the app does work for the endoscope, it's not very well designed and has some very annoying issues: 1) You cannot access the internet via wifi, while connected to the camera. It requires that you're constantly connected. You are forced to use your mobile data if you want to switch between other apps 2) Most of the time, if you leave the app then revisit the app, the settings are all reset. For instance, I constantly have to reset the resolution and rotation. This is a huge inconvenience.

The most one of the most frustrating experiences ever. One time that works the next time the Bluetooth won't connect over and over again. I have to keep uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it to try to make the connection. Instructions are worthless. When it works it's nice when it doesn't you just throw it out.

I don't normally review apps but I felt it was only fair to leave one for this. The bad reviews are probably from people who struggle with the self check outs at Lidl, and still use paper maps. If you follow the instructions (connect to the right WiFi network, that's all) it works great with no messing about. Picture quality is good. Great bit of kit that only a few years ago would have cost hundreds of pounds.

Works fine. After your device connects to wifi make sure you confirm using the connection. Devices may default to not using the connection if no internet is detected. The wifi broadcast by the endoscope does not have internet. This could be the cause of the black screen or no image being produced on this app. Once you confirm the endoscope and this app work as advertised.

First, I had no problem getting a quality picture on my phone (Samsung Note 8) and I did not enter any SSID or WIFI passwords in the app settings page. Why would I. My intent for use of this device is not at home. I did return it due to a bad connection at the camera head light. The light would go on and off when you moved the head around. Good luck.

Just like another reviewer said... It stops working. I've tried disabling my regular internet wifi, reinstalling the app, and I'm positive I'm connected to the depstech wifi. Still tells me it can't connect. Very frustrating. Edit. Ok. To get this to work I had to go to my phone's wifi settings and turn off "automatically switch between wifi and mobile data". Hope this helps someone else.

This application worked fine for me and does what it claims to do, without any observed issues. I've used it for the Depstech Otoscope. Each time used, I had to first turn on the otoscope, switch my phone's WiFi over to the otoscope SSID and then run the application. I was able to save real-time images and video to my phone, rotate the camera and adjust settings within the app.

Running with great 1080p image in 3 minutes. Read the setup instructions. Some good tips in reviews. For Galaxy S6: airplane mode, in connections, turn on wifi; more settings, show-scan nearby networks; click Jetion; will tell you no internet, say ok. Done. LED brighness on side of box, looked for that in the app for awhile, lol. Don't forget to put your secure settings back when done. Great device for what it is.

Reviewing app not camera. I read instructions. In under 5 minutes I installed app, connected to camera, played with zoom, lighting, different resolutions and took some pictures. Everything worked as it should without issue. I did not see where the app was clunky it just worked. If having issues maybe it's because of phone, I tested on a tablet. Also please understand the wifi settings in app are to change wifi info from default not for connecting to camera. Connect phone wifi to camera name.

Won't connect to WiFi on Android app, unable to enter special characters in password field. Won't even search for available wifi's...have to type wifi name in manually. Very poorly designed/programmed app. Can't use camera if you can't connect to it. And there isn't a PC app to use with it either, that I can find. Buyers/Users beware! Junk! And I am a very experienced tech guy as I work in the tech industry.

I can connect to the device's WiFi, but when I open the app it says it is disconnected. Have tried airplane mode and reinstalling app. Failed on iPhone also. I am not a confused boomer. I am a software engineer, and I regularly connect my Sony and Canon cameras via WiFi. Trust me when I say this thing isn't working.

Got an endoscope from Amazon and it connected ok after a bit of faffing. Connect via wifi from endoscope not via bluetooth! It needs access to photos and videos as you can record/photograph what you're looking at. Picrure quality looks good but just had a notification to say app contains maleware, so need to check it out.

Works with Samsung Galaxy S9 Note (April 2020) It was a little tricky getting the setup but you do not have to put in any of your home network information and once I figured out how to do that the app worked quite well. I used it with a Depstech WF010 HD WIFI Inspection Camera. Turn camera on and select it in your wifi devices (Jetion_********). Then open app and enter Wifi SSID and Password (located in your manual) in the setting menu. After that I was able to see the camera from my phone.

Won't run without permission to view my photos, even though I can see the camera feed working behind the error dialog. I don't want a Chinese app having access to my files, and I'm ok with not being able to record video or photos. I just want to be able to use it to view the video signal.

It gets the job done I suppose, but my camera seems to have up and died. I can still connect to the camera's wifi and I can tell it to reboot via the app, but resolution setting fails and I get no images anymore. Was nice while it lasted, which wasn't as long as it should have been.

Works perfect on my Note 8. I followed the instructions and it works without turning off cellular signal. Good resolution, portable, overall very happy. 1. Read instructions 2. Plug into the wall to charge it 3. Turn on 4. Find Jetb***** wifi in your connections 5. Connect using the password in the instructions 6. Success! I was able to connect within 15 mins. Would have been 5 if I read the instructions first. Great camera and app!
