As an employee, this app is fantastic! It keeps all timesheets, tells me upcoming shifts, has shift notes for each staff member know what buisness & what roll we are doing each day. It gives us a reminder that we have a shift coming up a few hrs before shifts, reminds us to clock on. Has a break button start & end break. Has an open shift option for un-filled job hours. And a newsfeed to message managers, Boss or other staff when needed for end of shift post or just to ask questions etc!
The android version desperately needs a select all button to send the job site you can't do. My main complaint is that you have to select each user one by one unlike the iPhone version which has a select all button to send the job you can't do to all users, please fix this on the android version. for some reason iPhone users seems to have priority when they post new job openings meaning I can open both app on android and iPhone and the iPhone seems to get more job site listings than android ve
Since your update, so many problems. I sign on at the work kiosk and doesnt accept. I lost 9 hours of pay. Put your app back how it used to be and get rid of the person that changed it Once a perfectly great program and now a complete disaster.
Sub par. After clearing 3 notifications, the app stops sending them. I have missed a few events, schedule changes, and news feed posts because of this. I've attempted to set priorities via app settings and phone settings but nothing works. I'm tired of Uninstalling and re-installing the app on a daily basis.
I Love deputy, it's superior to other apps I've previously used which always had bugs and issues. Never had that with this one. Also it's so super easy to use. Would be great if you could leave longer shift note comments though.
Constant issues with server connections. Even with full mobile data coverage. (New issue since last update) App will confirm that you have clocked on to shift, but fail to start shift.
The update is not helpful at all. It takes a long while to open the app; it is very slow. Notifications do not work like before. Which makes it hard to make good use of the app and claiming shifts.
This is the worst experience I ever had with an Android app. The iOS app is way better to the point I always need to use the browser to open deputy links. If you don't know how to make it better just make a port of the web because this is useless.
Amazing for my work experience. Works really well. I've never seen this implemented into any job I've had, but with this job I've found that it works amazingly well! Happy to experience this app. It works wonders!
The latest Android update is garbage. The "loading business " icon is infuriating and my phone goes to sleep before the app loads. It also makes any attempt to accept new "available shifts" pointless, because they are gone before the app loads. This new update is costing me money.
It's really simple to operate but I don't like that I don't have my pay stubs on th8s app. I don't want any advertisements when I use this app in any form or fashion.
!I'm an employee! It's pretty handy and easy to use . Only downside if your manager/biss takes away hours before approving them you don't get notified. A simple notification for that would be michly appreciated
Absolutely love this app it keeps you informed of all and any changes and alsi shows whos rostered on at what day or time and the extra features like swapping shifts its helped so much simply at a touch of a button
Very helpful for my weekly planning. Some bugs with break time appear to be corrected.
New update is terrible. Seems like a lot of changes were made to the interface when they could have spent time fixing regular bugs. I have to use this app as a manager, and all it's good for (which is plenty) becomes overlooked by having to work around bugs. I need to click on a swap and approve it instantly instead of wading through a schedule to see a "Pending Approval" notification to approve. Also it filters posts that you could otherwise see on desktop. Why??? Again as a manager frustrating
Love the app but the new update has removed the push notifications. Meaning I don't know when a new shift is available, therefore losing it as someone else has taken it. If this was fixed, I would give it a 5.
New update is very buggy. Aside from messing up my muscle memory and rearranging the tabs, the app doesn't load when I first open the app. It also lags randomly and delays notifications. Sometimes it'll catch up all at once and send all the notifications while lagging while I try to clock in. Not smooth as previous update
Manager tools on the app are sorely lacking compared to the desktop version. It would also be great if there were some additional scheduling functions, like being able to invert the shifts/areas for A/B week type scheduling... Be great to be able to archive and delete employee accounts from the app.
Please fix this app it was amazing before but the recent updates now prevent me from doing pretty much anything on my phone (main issues are unable to add someone onto a shift, also cant approve holiday on the app) have to log into the website instead.

This app keeps stealing time from my breaks. If I go on break at 12, as soon as 12:01 rolls over it'll say I've been on break for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 minutes Depending on what it feels like that day Not happy about sometimes losing up to 10 minutes of my break a day because this app likes to make up numbers Ridiculous. Sometimes I'll clock out at 17:05 and it'll revert to 16:58 or something, making it look like I left early Those minutes add up. Sort it out
App was great until a recent update in the past 2 days or so ruined the hall clocking in and out system. I use deputy 4 days every week in a row and since the app has been updated on my Samsung 8 plus phone. I no longer have the capability to start shift ,start break or end break and even doing the timesheet manually doesn't even work.😢
I am also getting strange notifications saying "Hi Tim are are you doing." This just started happening, no idea what to do. I need this app to schedule shifts but this makes me nervous about using the app.
For the time I have been using the deputy app it has been realiable and easy to use which I thought would be a lot harder especially since I normally struggle since I'm stupid so I would definitely recommend this app and there are no ad's which makes it the perfect tool to use
Deputy has only gone down hill since first using them. They are more concerned about the color of their app than it's functionality. Here is a direct quote from their service team in regards to an issue I'm having on my Brand New Galaxy s22 Ultra "Hi there, as per checking this with our team, you cannot filter a post using an android device. This is a limitation of the app, you may only use the filter on mobile app when your device is an iOS" Millions of employees have Android btw 🤦♂️
The latest update is terrible. I don't get notification from the app anymore. All the shift are gone before i even get to see it
What is wrong with this! Why is it messaging me at 11:45 at night saying how are you I'm trying to sleep, and it's not once but twice people sleep this is a schedule app why is it doing this.
Getting strange notification messages "hi tim how are you?" I'm not Tim and if I tap it the app opens but message can't be found.
Great app, the schedule is easy to get up and navigate the recent updates have really helped make this app more user friendly. All the functions work and do what they say, I think the only suggestion I can make would be having a cover my shift section where people can put up a shift they can't make and ask the people within their section if they can cover it or not. Other than that it is great and simple to use.
