Desert Financial Mobile

I have been banking with Desert Financial for many years now all the way back to when they were Desert Schools. I can't see banking with anyone else. Always had an excellent experience with them especially when they had their sun city branch.

Use to be good, now it's horrible. Super slow loading, mobile deposit checks by picture basically worthless.last 3 times I've had to go to an ATM to deposit.

App works fine. Can check your balances using quick check feature. Can make transfers from checking to savings and back, any time of day, and any day of the week. The app used to have problems a few years ago, (back when it was desert financial) but they've really been stepping their game up, and make it worth it to be a desert financial customer.

App is always unavailable at all hours of the day, frequent issues. Navigating app to transfer money to someone else is not obvious or easy. That's not even touching the issues I have with the bank or their God awful atm's. Constant errors with the app, whether you're trying to send money, pay a bill, transfer to another account it always says "there was an error please try again later". This causes late fees, overdraft fees in their own system (which they will not reverse even for the first time

great app! only request is that i can't swipe through my accounts. i have to go back to the main menu and select the account I want to view. the app is set up to swipe through each of your accounts but it just gives my a refresh symbol and never moves off the dirst account. pls fix, this has been an issue from the very beginning. i have even called in for help and they told me to uninstall/reinstall. still doesn't work.

The app has shown some major improvements, however something changed in the last update that makes it so I can't deposit checks using my mobile phone anymore. When I try to take a photo of the check, the screen resolution changes and makes it so I can't get a good picture and successfully submit the check deposit. Something is wrong with the camera interface on this version.

The older version worked better. The transaction search in the updated app is slow and choppy. It only shows a few transactions at a time and it cuts off the first transaction on each page after the first page of history. Also there is no way to go back to perviously viewed transactions without starting the transaction search over. Can't get the search transaction function to work at all.

App does very well for what you need. Check depositing could work a bit better but after a few attempts it works fine in the end. I like the preview pane you are greeted with before the full login process. Paying bills works fine too. Issue I have been having now is that the app will just not function on wifi for some reason. The preview will work ever 30th time or so. Same on my wives phone. We do have diverant models too. Pixel and Motorola. Not sure why it happened or when. Has been a year.

The past few weeks or so have been spotty with the app and full site. Today I cannot access anything through either. It just says system error. It gives an option to contact support but when I click on it, it says the site can't load because it is not secure or supported. I called to ask if there were known issues being worked on and was told there are none. They offered a call back with IT in 2 days. Disappointed that no one seems to know what's going on.

Ridiculous is the word. I have to turn off wi-fi to log in, can't enable quick log-in any more, and every time I try to get the app to recognize/remember my device I have to have a new security code texted to me. Didn't have these problems before. Tried uninstall/reinstall, but nada. Been a member of this credit union for 47 years, and this is the most frustrated I've ever been with it.

PLEASE FIX THIS. Edit 4/12- no update, no response. I use this app a lot just to check my account on my phone, but I've been having a major issue. At the login screen, as soon as I'm in the password section the screen flutters violently up and down until I'm done. I can't see what I'm typing at all and it makes my head hurt to see it. I realized that my keyboard doesn't change (since it's a different app) so if I focus just on my keyboard I can get logged in. I will edit my rating when fixed.

The app is helpful but the mobile deposit feature is pretty much non existent. I have been able to deposit maybe 1/12 checks ever. I always end up having to go to an atm. The latest check I tried to deposit was computer generated no handwriting taken on a black background so that wasnt the issue. I also had no luck depositing state issued checks while being a foster parent. Very inconvenient. Needs updating.

Nice app, but what would make it 5 stars is if you could categorize an expenditure that way it will reflect in your budget automatically. Currently, I have to do that by the full site which is cumbersome. Also, it would be really helpful if, when you transfer money from one account to another, when you put a memo on the transfer, it autopopulates that memo into both account memos on the transfer ...very cumbersome to have to go to transfers to see the memo ...or go the account and put in memo.

Can't deposit my check it just crashes when I hit the button for it pls fix

Works great for everything I do. Edit: The app is still good but the requirement for the entire password everytime I want to login just makes me want to uninstall it. Very annoying. I might as well make my PW as simple as possible so I can enter it easily though less securely.

this app used to work great. now i can't even log in, it just goes back to sign on screen. no more quick balance either. thinking of losing this credit union altogether after 12 years. i had $2000 stolen from my checking account and it took them months to investigate and give me a credit, so i could pay my bills. they have gotten too big for their britches. hate the new name too.

This app used to work fine. Suddenly, I can't log in. It says it doesn't recognize me. I called and got a completely useless person who DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT THERE. That is just ridiculous. I have been a member for 34 years. It says it's sending me an email, but I have not received a darn thing. This needs to be fixed. I am using an android and have the most current version. I've deleted and reinstalled. No change. This app is useless. Now I can't access my accounts.

Very nice credit union. Good experiences in the branch. Their online banking is hit or miss, but mostly miss. Very long load times in the app, or it doesn't log in at all. Online banking has been unavailable quite a few times over the years.

I have been with desert Financial Credit Union for 20 years or so? And I would never switch. they have been the most amazing Credit Union I have ever used and over the years I've used plenty of different banks when I was younger but they're always there for you they have a wonderful fraud department that catches things that could be wrong with your debit cards or transactions immediately they have done so much to help me over the years. And I would recommend them to anybody!!

This app is great, but as of right now there is an issue I'm having that as soon as I open the app It crashes and closes. I've tried restarting my phone and uninstalling it as well. When I uninstall this app I am able to log in one time then when I try to open again it does the same crashes as before
