Pure garbage, the biometrics never work, the options and settings are always bugged. The most frustrating is that at Desjardins, no one can help/fix it. Worst banking app I've used and I'm also using Manuvie app so...
Worst banking app ever. Every time i try to do a e-tranfer it's not working or there's a bugg and same for bills so if you're planning on having a good time on this app bring your patience!
You may change account type and make investment easily on the app. Some features are great and not found in other bank mobile app like bmo or cibc. Desjardins mobile app is awesome
very bad any check your are trying to scan an error message will show I tried at different time of the day and didn't work. very unefficient!
Since a little while, need to redownload the app at least once a day since it says access denied to my account! Please do something about it! Really annoying
I don't understand bank stuff, but this app really simplified almost everything I need to know and it's the only reason I don't want to switch banks.
It's been over a week that the app bugs as I try to log in (either with digital or password). It keeps loading a page for far too long then a pop up message appears suggesting I come back later.
Not overly impressed, they don't have Visa or MasterCard debit and they closed their prepaid and secured card options. Making it impossible to build credit. 5/5 definitely do NOT recommend. Update 2022... They don't even have 24hr client care very disappointed. And no way to verify Google pay by any way but calling in SMH give your heads a shake.
When you can use it it's great, but that's the problem. The system is often offline for maintenance work, being overloaded or having technical difficulties. Out of the 2 bank accounts I've had in Canada and 5 others worldwide, I've never had as much difficulty just to connect to my account. It's ridiculous EDIT: reinstalling the app won't fix your overloaded servers!
The app doesn't let me log on half the time and this keeps me from depositing interac transfers since notifications of an incoming transfer automatically redirect to the app when it is installed. I've been told to uninstall and reinstall to solve the problem. It works but never for long and it is a hassle to do repeatedly. When it works, the app is great, but this log on issue is a nuisance..
One month later and this still hasn't been fixed. Since the latest update I have been unable to login. When trying to login, it loops me back to the login page, and a second attempt crashes the app. Clearing Cache/Storage and reinstalling the app does nothing. This is not user error, so don't tell me to call customer service, fix your app.
Badly designed visuals. Most of the time you end up calling them anyways because everything is gated behind 45 pointless actions and identity verifications.
Can't make a deposit using app after with latest version. Have tried reinstalling.

Just stopped letting me log in deleted it re downloaded it. Same everytime.
The best app for online banking hands down. Easily better than BMO and TD
Ive been a member of Desjarding for 4 years and Ive never had any issues with the app. Even if I did, Id rather go to the bank itself. Good app in my honest opinion.
Half the time the app bugs during log in screen and the other half I can't log in bcs of errors that force me to try again later this is crazy because I'm considering changing bank because of the app
Technical errors when closing some pages in the app. It's called log in... Not log on... The app shows too much info in small menus, maybe a UI designer could simplify the user experience All the accounts have no nicknames it's incredibly hard if you have several accounts to know what is what. So many small things but if you find what you need it executes it so... It kinda works...
So far OK app when compared to the competition. However one annoyance is that the app does not auto start when accepting an e-transfer via text or email. It automatically goes to web. If this could get fixed that would make life a little bit easier.
User friendly. Allow you to access most of your banking tools and functionalities efficiently. Possible improvement: A budgeting tool listing your recurring payments and sorting your expenses by category will be nice.
Just like the bank itself, the app is horrible. Can't even do the simplest thing, see your statements and make sure bill is paid because it never lets me log in. There's always a problem. Its suppose to make it easier but it gives me a headache everytime i think about using the app. I switched banks a while back and kept my credit card but honestly I'm just gonna transfer that too to my new bank. No headache and way better service.
Doesn't work on Android 12 Beta 2. It worked on Android 11 but wasn't the most stable either. Most other banks apps already works on Android 12, but not Desjardins. The application development is always late for adopting newer version and more recent features compared to others. The UI improved a lot and the recent changes are in the good direction, just wish development would be faster. Edit : I reinstalled the apps after reinstalling WebView and everything works fine now.
Pretty good. Only thing, could you please show the credit card balance on the "pay" screen when you input how much you want to pay? I always have to cancel and go back to my summary to memorize the credit balance and reenter the screen.
It's always crashing or there's some kind of problem with it. When I need to transfer money because I'm at a store, it's always crashing or there's always some error message popping up. I look really dumb and stupid because of that when it happens. Really great.
This app works well for basic stuff like checking your balance and paying bills. It's basically useless when dealing with more complex needs like documents, insurance and credit. Edit 2022-05-17: To answer Rose from Desjardins, on the App I receive message notices for my credit card account statements, but I need to log into the Desktop Web version of AccesD to read them. I have thePersonnal insurance yet cannot view renewal documents through the app due to "technical problems". I expect more.
