Desktop Notifications

This app allows you to receive Android notifications in your browser. Instead of checking notifications directly on your phone, you can check them on your desktop while surfing the web. And starting with version 2.0 you can also see your notifications on other Android devices, for example notifications from your phone on your tablet.
In order to use the app you also need to install one the companion browser extensions:

ABOUT THIS APP
We developed the app as a part of a research project at the Human Computer Interaction group (http://www.hcilab.org) at the University of Stuttgart (Germany). The app uses a secure communication channel to transfer the notifications. We collect anonymous data to analyze the user interaction with notifications. The content of notifications or information about you is NOT stored in any way. We make sure that your privacy and anonymity are preserved. The collected data is ONLY used for research purposes. It is assured that there will be no attempt to misuse the data or identify any user. By downloading and using this app you support and contribute in our research. Very reliable at sending & receiving notifications. Installing a lot of apps on a device means getting a lot of redundant notifications though, which can be tamed by turning them off. However, I do wish that under Menu>>Apps one could multi-select several apps at once, including all/none, and turn set notifications for the entire selected list.
This app and Android Messages for Web feature make any computer with a browser your phone away from home. Now if only you could reply to messages in app ;) One suggestion would be to allow the removal of connected devices in settings, as I had a number of connected devices that were labelled "Chrome 065481" or "Chrome 071234", which I assume are just various chrome browser updates. It also has various instances of my phone, probably from the updates as well. The fix for this I think is just uninstalling and reinstalling (also makes pairing new devices easy). Wonderful job.
It only works on the first time installation. But in the next day, only the text notifications work. It doesn't pop up real notifications although I let it runs on my phone all the time.
Hello, the app is amazing generally. However, mainly I wanted to use it for Skype and it didn't work properly with it in the sense of not getting notifications once I got a chat in Skype ! I have tried it while signing in to Skype app and on web browser as well.
Very easy set up. Extremely useful for someone who uses a laptop or desktop a lot and still needs to check phone notifications quickly. 5 stars.
It;s sad that it;s discontinued, Have used this app for years, no adds, no unnecessary features, this was very simple and easy. I was loving it. I didn't find any other app like this though. :(
One of the best and probably the only apps that did one thing and did it right. No ads, no BS. It was one of the most useful apps I used everyday but sadly all good things must come to an end. Kudos to the creators for making an excellent app
Does anybody know where I can find an alternative that is even kind of close to being as flawlessly, perfect as this app? I've tried so many and none of them came close to the bar that this app set.
This was a perfect app, and did it's one job Very well, along with integrating very nicely with Windows, Linux, and Chrome OS notification systems.
It's a shame the app has been discontinued. It was just so simple to use and didn't have any unnecessary features or ads.
This app can not log in, on 320 * 320 screen. Hundreds of thousands of smart watch displays are often 320 * 320, 400 * 400. Please improve compatibility.
I love this app, there are times when I have to put my phone on vibrate when I am at work, and with this app I don't miss any messages that are coming in.
sad.. that it will not be developed anymore.. best of all it's simple and non commercial..
just seemed to stop working wasnt recieving text messages or any notifications on the cross device

Desktop Notifications for Android will be discontinued on February 28, 2019. The servers will be shut down on February 28. Account/device data will be deleted. This information from their G+ community page :-(
Has there been anyone requesting for a timestamp on each notification? I think that would be great. Thank you.
update - i have a Xiaomi MiA1, Redmi 5A and my laptop. initially i got all notification of 5a in mia1,laptop, abd6 vice versa, but later i never got notification in my 5a from the mia1 or 5a's notifs in the mia1.
the only app that i found that did its job right. im sad that it has been discontinued 😢. it was an amazing app

So far so good. Have just downloaded the app and tried it with texts and calls, which is what I really needed it for seeing asked cortana no longer supports cross device notifications. Seems to work brilliantly at the moment. Long may that continue. It would be even better if it had a stand alone app for the computer rather than using a chrome extension but as it is, it appears to be very good and so I am very happy.
