Destination XL

This app used to be pretty good, but the last time I tried to use it, it was awful. The buttons don't work, the device back button minimizes the app, and once you've clicked on an item's picture, there's no way to go back without exiting the app and starting over. I hope these problems get resolved, because DXL is my primary clothing retailer.

God awful. Search doesn't work at all. For example I was looking at linen shirts and saw a Tommy Bahama one. Wanted to see all I searched for Tommy Bahama linen and got no results. Menus are slow but selecting something like shirts is so slow you think you touched the button in the wrong place. How this got through any sort of testing before being released is beyond me.

My almost every experience with this app has ended in failure. The app is buggy, numerous payment processing issues, XL Rewards not being administered WITHOUT calling customer service and no real help with any of the concerns. Both the app and overall functionality of the site need an entire overhaul.

It works and you can order items, but they need to hire a UX developer. Some of it is minor annoyances. But, the one that gets me is if you click on an item and then press the android navigation bar's back button, it exits the app. Which is counter intuitive to how every other app works. And, they decided to put their back button at the top left of the screen, the farthest point from your thumb. I got tired of it and just use the website now.

Review is for UX, can't click on most buttons including search. Looks like it is slightly and permanently zoomed in, or maybe the header is off screen. Pixel 5a. Will use web version instead for this purchase, last time used was in December on a different phone so can't compare exactly. Will come back and try again on next purchase and will change rating if resolved. Please feel free to reach out if there's an update!

The load times are terrible but worse is trying to shop for pickup. The store locator will not allow me to select a store which makes it completely impossible to see what they have in stock or place an order.

Terrible, slow, clunky app. I'd rather bang my head against the wall than shop for clothes anyway, usually online is better, but this app has succeeded in making it worse. It's ONLY success.

Didnt scale to my screen size correctly and thus couldnt select buttons. Wouldn't let me select the store closest to me, crashed when trying to select through store locator. Doubtful I'll use again

Navigation is completely sluggish. I wanted to filter results, but selecting the result catagories goes no where. The app there after randomly crashes. I'll just go to Foundry, better apps and better clothes at better prices.

App doesn't work after you log in. The SEE MORE button doesn't work and you can't click on the item. Uninstalling.

Downloaded the app to use a promotion only available in app and cannot browse through the clothing. Links aren't working and when scrolling through items I am unable to use the 'show more' button to see the next page. Huge disappointment.

Great website, poor app. App is glitchy and slow, needs significant improvement. Going to the dxl website on Chrome is far better

Interface is horrible, does not respond at all when navigating to a different selection. The application is very buggy.

With most shopping apps, when you change the color of your selection, you can see the change of the color of the item on the model. Not this app. Also definitely slow. When you scroll through 50 shirts and the choose one to look at, when you're done, you have to scroll through 50 shirts again rather than return to where you left off. Definitely needs some work on the functionality, speed, and navigation but it's a pretty captive audience, so we'll see what happens.......

There's less items to choose from. I was checking items from an email they sent me and I found a bigger selection there. I'm going to delete this app and even though I've had a very hard time trying to place my order. I guess I will have to call them to place it. What a waste of time. They could honestly do alot better. Not just with the website but, their discount offers and prices too.

The app does work, and it's functional when browsing all the products. But it doesnt have all the features an app for a premiere store should have. A very big function is the wishlist, which exists on the app but there is no feasible way to actually add items to your wishlist through the app. Unless I'm just not doing something right, this should be a function that should be available and functions since version 1.0. I hope that future updates add/fix these features.

This app is full or error messages. First, can't log in without getting an error message. Wants you to reset your password. Then sends you a temporary password as still does not recognize that. I emailed DXL customer support. They told me to reset my password???? Gave up. Uninstalled the app then reinstalled and the same error messages appeared. Tried to shop without signing in and the app will not allow you browse the items. Error message after error message. Useless app.

Can't log in. I changed my password on the website a few days ago because I couldn't log into the app. Website is fine, tried logging into the app, says invalid name or password. Contacted support, they said it may take a few hours to sync. Tried multiple times over the last few days, nothing, even after reinstall. I've had an account for years. Garbage app.

Great way to look through what they have. In the past I have had issues getting my account to work with the app but, that seems to be fixed. The only downside of the app compared to the website is the different color choices don't often show, only the primary selection.

Cool app but needs fixing with button latency. Certain categories take a good amount of time loading almost as of the load more option was even able to be used.

This is a terrible app ! It is continuously freezing,and bouncing you out . The only reason I gave it one star is that's the lowest I could put. Actually it's about -1 stars 🌟

This is a functional app, but doesn't offer the utility availible on the mobile site. You can shop on this app easily enough, however, I haven't found a way to add items to my wishlist, and you can't change your size settings in your profile, it also seems to have less options to filter through merchandise. I will be deleting this app, and I'll just keep using the mobile site.

Seems like a decent enough app and having the loyalty points available for when I purchase in store is great. Gets such a low rating from me because there is no way to disable notifications. If an app can't be bothered to allow me to disable notifications then it is removed from my phone. I shouldn't have to use 3rd party apps or phone features to block something an app should have built-in.

So slow and half the buttons don't work.

This app has gotten really clunky. Takes 10-15sec to respond when any button is pushed

Won't let me sign in with Google like I do on my computer which makes this app useless. I'm not going to make a 2nd account and split my rewards.

This app has to be uninstalled and reinstalled after each use in order for it to work. You cannot see or link your DXL rewards with the app. You also cannot view your purchases after they have been made. Another update on 04/24/22. Still the same issues nothing is responsive when clicking on a sub category. This app will be deleted and never reinstalled again.

Downloaded 30 mins and nothing worked. It lagged. Didn't even get to put anything in the cart. Wouldn't allow me to see more selections so I deleted it. It's bad enough we have to deal with other retailers not giving a damn about bigger guys but when it's the app catering to you. A huge disappointment! Pun intended.

Terrible app, pretty much unusable. Loading pages is slowwww, and when you hit the see more tab it repeats the same selection the first go around. Not to mention you must click every tab multiple times in order to get it to work. This app needs help, quick!
