DetDroid - Detective

The names of all of the suspects are gibberish and seem generated randomly, the central mechanic of the game is figuring out the destination city, and so geography is the only skill you have to use. The witnesses comments are totally unrealistic, and a number of text boxes are too big for the screen without any way to scroll down. No notebook, no way to record details about the suspect. Every feature is a mess.

Sometimes the only clues given point to the next town, but I can never receive enough info about to issue a warrant. The random generator is way off. Impossible to win unless you get lucky from the witnesses. Don't waste your time.

Game is based on where in the world is carmen san diego. Loved that game and would've enjoyed this too, except that its just really lacking, even for a beta. You're required to get at least 3 traits of a suspect before you can even attempt to issue a warrant. Not all cases give you the opportunity for 3 traits. The programming which generates random traits selected during the interrogation process will allow the same trait to come up in a case more than once. Just a few of the more glaring faults.

Case 34 impossible to beat & the game gets seriously boring after a few missions. Was totally into it @ first but it's not a game to play over again. Wouldn't have missed nothing if I hadn't downloaded it.

But it gives you literally NO instructions, directions, or tips. It just gives you the game and forces you to figure it out on your own. And after you figure it out basically, you win the first 5 but after that you have no clue what you did wrong or how to win. Ever since winning the 5th case, it's just been an onslaught of fails.

The cases don't give you enough time or clues. If I could have given this 0 stars I would have.

I really like the game. You need to really think in this game. Time management and geographical knowledge tested. Suggestion for v2: try to include another dimension other than flag country

Most cases overseas so you must be smart in that area. I got half way and tired of no American cases. So that's why it's okay. Clues make you think for sure.

Great game. Put clues together, get a warrant and find your suspect. Very fun.

Just like carmen sandiego... If possible i would like if u could make a game jus like the oregon trail not the settler game but jus like the original trail please.

Reminds me of Carmen sandiego been looking for tHis for a while, but like a previous comment case 34 don't give u enough time to finish even if leave without interrogating u still run out of time n still b no where near to catching criminal, & on top of that case 35 won't even open &it seems this has been an issue for quite some time without it being fixed plz Fix n I'll give 5 stars

Like the game but after getting two or three clues I can guess who it is.

I really enjoyed the game.. I just really wish you had more cases, and music where you catch the perpetrator. It also wound be good if you had pictures of the perpetrators once you catch them. It's educational as well because of the geographical content. There are grammatical errors but other than that. Great game!!!

Case #34 is impossible to complete. Not enough time even after retrying and leaving without interrogating. Case #35 won't even load. Needs reality check.

Don't waste your time with stupid game I isn't anything to get excited about at all.

Good game could use some adjustments... It would be nice to see pics of the suspects and more interactions with them when you are getting close

Closest game to the old Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego. Low levels are great but higher levels do not provide enough time to allow for investigation and issue of warrant.

I downloaded this because I was bored. It's a good way to pass time

So the villain escaped because i did not have a warrant i had 36 hours left wtf? I know it is in beta but still that is not cool u need to make this game more clear on what to do all i thought was u needed to fly places uninstalled sorry

Nice! This game is very much like the Carmen Sandiego of the DOS era and now even more amazing in Android. This is an addictive puzzling game!
