Scans item and the app shuts down.
This app is very informative (synthesizing big science into small statements), good links (ideally a list of them), and encouraging, pleasant interface. My kids like earning badges with me and finding them. I haven't used it to scan products, but as a tool to identify areas that need attention, it is very helpful. As an intro to the areas of concern and safer alternatives, it is very helpful. Grateful that this leading institution is making a simple tool for everyday use - thank you!!!
This app is good for people who want to detox but I came here hoping to learn maybe what's better on the market and it fails at that. It gave me the same list of advice for all the products of the same group I scanned and doesn't tell you if it's a good product or not. Literally gives you the same list of advice for everything.
None of the household cleaning or hair products were recognised when I scanned the bar code. Only general tips were provided which I already had knowledge of. Unfortunately I found googling individual ingredients from the back of a product was better than this app. Perhaps the app would do better if it could provide a much wider discription of toxic ingredients rather than the limited few currently? Unistalled.
This is cool! I learned a lot about which products are bad for the environment & super easy ways to reduce my "carbon footprint." Also, the FDA doesn't do a very good job of keeping poisons out of our beauty & hygiene products, so this really helps with that.
This app has a search option that doesn't work. I searched wetnWild and loreal and the results, "we have no tips for you." Tips? Now I just feel like I was data mined.
It is not what l had hoped for. I am looking for something easy to navigate. Maybe a picture of products with a description of what ingredients that are good an not so good like my Fooducate app.
Vague, "no-brainer" tips. Not enough actual searchable products and chemicals.
would have liked to see a level breakdown of the ingredients listed in each product, just gives alternative to use after you scan barcode of product you look up.
Wonderful app with great suggestions.. I only wish it had some sort of profile login option, so I could sync my progress across devices.
It's a pity their database is limited with only American products. I like the tips though. I'm not sure I can use this on most products available in Europe.
This app is very informative. The only reason why I didn't give this app a 5 star rating was because it didn't give me much information on the items I scanned as far as why the item was a bad item

The only reason I gave the app one star is because I had no other option. I can't figure out how to use it. There are not buttons or selections that can be made. The app doesn't work.
This app has a lot of good suggestions and ideas to try. It also has a few good suggestions for state environmental activism.
None of the common products I scanned are listed. I am not interested in using this app to help build their database!
FYI this app doesn't load on the Galaxy S10+. Used it on my iPhone and really found all the suggestions insightful.
wony search for products wont take pics of ingredient labels, not everyone has a barcode for you to scan... will be uninstalling

The average household is incredibly toxic. After working on this for several years in my own home, I am shocked at how much work I still have to do. This app provides a great deal of pertinent information for the consumer. Thanks 💜
