DETOXIFY #1 Porn Blocker / App Blocker Accountable

Works great! Has all the features to truly protect online. Love the random pin it allows one to set to block themselves from turning app off when they are just getting started and haven't found an accountability buddy yet. Sometimes it's hard to build up the nerve to ask someone to set a pin for you. This allows you to ask Detoxify to do it and immediately start detoxifying. One of the best blockers I've ever used. They thought of everything!

Struggled my whole life with this issue and though internally I'm not quite "fixed", this app has helped tremendously with keeping me on the right path. I've used other apps and have usually found loopholes. With Detoxify you can use a blacklist/whitelist, different ratings of safety ranging from normal to extreme. What I've found most helpful has been the PIN randomizer, which obscures the pass-code from myself. So when I'm struggling, I don't have the option to uninstall or punch in my PIN

Very good app overall, it does what it's suppose to really well. My only concern is that there needs to be an option to disable the VPN. I already have a dedicated VPN which I use regularly, so this makes it kinda hard to use this everyday, which sort of defeats the purpose. Other than that, really good app, highly recommend it

Zero features, only option for a pass is a 4 digit pin..seriously? No lockout for set days option either. Blocker hero absolutely destroys this in terms of features, and is cheaper. Devs need to pull up their pants with this app especially since it's so popular I'm surprised it's so bare bones.

Not going to use the app. But I downloaded it just to say how lol worthy the ad was. Nice work. If it was a parody of other ads that are all "inspirational" and talk about "serious problems" you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. 👍 Thumbs up for a hilariously bad ad and concept. But it made me laugh. 10/10, would lol again.

I really do want to give a 5 star, but there is one this I have to say, why does it have to have a subscription? If you really want to help the most people, then you would let this run for free. I do get that you guys need to fund the app, and instead of a paid subscription, you can use donations and maybe even adds.

The app is really good, best imo. I've tried BlockerX but they allow you to uninstall the chrome extension or desktop app without any measures to prevent it. I can't uninstall the detoxify desktop app without a pin and this is exactly what I need because my laptop is the worst for me. You can randomize a pin and have it sent to a friend or let your friend type out a pin for you. BUT This would have been a flawless app if it also had a version for ipad and iphones. Quite sad!

The app is relatively good. But you can set up a pin that ain't let you uninstall the app...and the app almost hides the fact that you only get 3 free days. You should not have to pay to stop your addiction. It's not right and now that inve set up a random pin I can't uninstall the app. Don't make the subscription notice very small. Better yet, don't make people have to pay in order to help them quit. Disappointing app.

I cant explain to you how many apps Ive used that have multiple loopholes and are a waste of time when it comes to blocking sites and apps. Detoxify, however is the polar opposite. It works in every way. Would reccomend this to anyone looking for help with blocking unwanted sites and apps. Thank you Detoxify team.

This app makes it a lot easier, only gripe is that I can't access my mobile banking while the VPN is active but I know that is something that's unavoidable and is because the bank app recognises the insecurity of a VPN. Other than that it has helped me a great deal! Thanks Detoxify!!!

Wow! Just installed it today and by far it is great didn't even wait for the three day to subscribe did it right away ! I've tried different apps before this one and it was easy to disable the app where this one is though and I like it ! Great job on developing this app. Hopefully you guys will not disappoint in the future.

$5/mo for pin-protected uninstall (through accountability partner), a general blocker, and a handy panic phone lock feature. Pretty sleek, does not effect browsing otherwise. Recommended if you need that last fall back measure to shore up will power.

The purpose of the app is god, but I can't connect to any wireless network, that's a problem of the vpn that they installed on my device, i didn't recommend the app, I've called the support but they're not solving my problem and they don't give us attention to solve our issues.

Used to have it 5 star, now reduced it to 3. I found a way around the app blocker ;( (glitch) I can dodge this app with this method. I really hope they fix it I emailed it about it and hope they look into it. I'll rate it back to 5 star when fixed.

(edit) For some reason the app would not let me do a system update without deleting the app first. I don't understand why it was designed like that. Frustrating. Not much good when you have to delete it if your phone! The app seems to work for me. I was looking for an app that would let me blacklist apps and websites I want to stop visiting and it works for that.

Love the idea behind this app and highly appreciate its developers but it's not VPN compatible. I'm trying to access a website that's blocked in my region but bc i have detoxify on, i can't reach the said website. Truly a shame but love you guys, keep going and if possible fix this issue

So I think this is a excellent vpn, it is almost completely foolproof with the right settings, however I have found one problem with the app and how to disable it in a way. I use a Google Pixel 3 and it is updated to run on Android 12. If you go down to "Privacy" in settings and then click on "Accessibility usage", you can then click on the app and stop it. However, this doesn't stop the VPN but just allows you to have the option to stop it if you have a pin set up.
