And also android addicts like me who are constantly changing, resetting, and trying a bunch of new apps all the time. Haven't had a single problem and no matter how my phone is set up I keep one packed with launchers which I constantly change, and one for misc stuff on popup widgets from a screen edge gesture always. Solid code dev😁
The widget crashes on a Samsung S8, Android 8.0 when tapping BACK to leave the main screen where one can enter package names.
This is one of the first things I install on apps now. By far the easiest way to keep a list of all my dev apps in one place.
Have loved, used and recommended this app for many years, but since oreo the background process is constantly crashing, notifying me no matter what else I'm doing. A victim of the new bg process limits. Considering uninstalling which is sad...
Which is not cool :( Don't get me wrong I still love this app! But this was a bit frustrating.
This has been a huge help in speeding up development.
Life would not be easy without this :) handy options and very helpful when you have different flavours of one App..
Please use dots such as ... to indicate a shortened app name if the text field is not wide enough
Not sure if this app is still maintained but it crashes a lot on Oreo (Galaxy S8)
thanks. I finally make it work based on your reply. both widget and shortcut work now. but I don't get why I must add a widget first.
I love this app and have used it for years but it isn't working on Android O. It crashes reliably, particularly when an app that matches one of my filters is installed/updated.
Love it ! I've been using this for a while, and I can't live without it. It's so easy to handle my installed applications, but it would be great to have the option to exclude some applications, like tests.
My package list was cleared, and the UI doesn't look like it's finished. There seem to be placeholder and unused fields. Still a very useful app, but this last update seemed premature
Useful for developers, all your apps automatically appear in one place and are easily managed.
Great app but cant useon new phone. App constantly crashes on my oneplus2, oxygen OS. When typing into the "widget name" EditText.
I don't understand why, but nothing is shown at widget even after re-adding package names. I'm a little bit in stuck. Android 4.0.3, Nova launcher
Please fix it for android 8.0 - crashes on scroll thru list
Very useful but it's no longer supported so some bugs have crept in. Can't use this at all on some devices like the S9.
I have to agree. This app has been part of my regular development flow for years. Sadly it's regularly crashing on Android O. I really hope this gets fixed cause this is great on my older devices
Broken for a month. Ouch. Love this app... but it lost my entry for my main project and now I can't even see how to add it back in?
Don't know what I'd do without this! - But I'm having to find out :( It doesn't show up in my widgets list. :(
Great tool to have when you develop an app and need to keep it on the homescreen even when uninstalling and reinstalling
It's crashing
Should be built-in.
Quite useful for me, as I often clear data on the project I'm developing. The app works well and looks good too :)
...with one major hang up - there is no way to refresh the list! I often get stale data and there is not any option anywhere to refresh - pull2refresh would be ideal.
It performs an extremely basic, but very useful function for Android developers who need quick access to their work. I look forward to seeing more versions with helpful developer functions.
A nifty idea and quite handy. Looks good too and simple but functional. No complaints here, keep it up!
Great little app, very handy for developers and provides one solution instead of learning the different methods across UIs
This app is just too good :) Since we produce alot of apps Dev Drawer widget proves to be invaluable since it keeps all the apps organised and relevant functions at hand (uninstall, settings). I would only suggest that you really look into refresh functionality since as far as I know Google changed widget behavior in the past and now it does not refresh as often as one would like it to.
