This app tries to pacify you with some control over notifications or shutting it down, only to ignore all of it moments later. Edit: I seem to have found a way to shut it down as much as possible without it popping back up unsolicited. (I just clicked, long pressed, and double checked every "upper right, 3 dots" options on all pages and managed to find some ambiguous settings)

Basically turned my phone into a plastic brick. I can't send or receive texts properly or timely, my internet connectivity is awful, and any app that requires data becomes useless. Nothing loads properly, if at all now. I have to restart my phone any time I need to use an app requiring a network connection. If I wait longer than just a few minutes to use internet or any other network app, I have to restart it. Extremely inconvenient. Complete bloatware garbage. -5 stars!

Horrible pre-installed app. As far as I can tell, it's adware/ spyware, at least bloatware. It seems to be collecting and sending all kinds of data back to TracFone and it's parent company Telemovil America. Can't uninstall it, can't stop it from running in the background consuming RAM and updating itself often. Google, this falls to you. Fix it. Lots of similar reviews (complaints) Time to intervene. Tracfone cannot or will not fix this.

It's another one of those Bloatware apps that you can't do anything with. When running it, I was surprised to see that I have 0 storage available. So, when an app isn't smart enough to know where your files are stored, it's pretty sad. I revoked all permissions, turned off Auto Update and stuck the app in a hidden folder so I never have to see it again.

It just showed up! I don't want this app on my phone. I have tried to uninstall. It appears that it is uninstalling, then it tries to update. I can't stop permissions or notifications because, "... I haven't received any notifications"? This along with some other additions from Tracfone, etc. without my permission is eating up space. This app needs to allow the owner of the phone total control to delete it. I'm considering resetting my phone to get rid of this "junk".

Unnecessary Forced App. Cannot Uninstall it or disable it. It is repetitive and annoying. Did not come pre-installed, just showed up one day and has bothered me ever since. Turning off notifications only lasts for a little while and then it's back again. Has no permissions but still persists. Get rid of it! This is enough to make me want to switch providers.

The app from hell I don't want the app and I cannot uninstall or disable it. It keeps sending me notifications I don't want to see, even though I have its notifications turned off. I can stop the notifications by stopping the app (not recommended). However, the next time I restart the phone, it's back to pestering me again.

This app rendered my device nearly inoperable. I could only use apps on my home screen and even then it was difficult to get it to click on something. There was a green box every where I touched the screen and took several times of tapping icon to get it to open apps on home screen. This app is only useless, it is harmful to my device.

Please allow me to Uninstall this app. I'm having the hardest time connecting to my straight talk service. I haven't had the ability to call/txt for 8 days. I've tried everything and even talked to straight talk corporate. I'm out of options and have been told that if I can delete Device Pulse I may be able to restore to factory defaults completely. PLEASE ALLOW ME TO UNINSTALL. I DON'T EVEN USE THIS APP.

It auto updates without permission despite being turned off, takes up both battery and HD space, continuously restarts itself, can't be uninstalled, and the notifications never stop. This app literally doesn't do anything but collect my information. Need phone info? Settings. Need more in depth control? Developer mode. If I wanted to be told what to do with my own device, I would have bought an Iphone.

This app sends a notification every hour. It will not let me Uninstall it or at least let me turn off the notifications. I have no idea what it is. DO NOT DOWNLOAD you will be constantly harassed by it and will be unable to remove it. I hate how phones are more expensive now yet come with even more trash loaded on them then before as well. My phone has 4gb of ram and half is used by trash like this running in the background. It feels as though it isn't even my property since I can't choose apps.

Redundant. Simply gathers information available in other apps .similar to about phone in settings. Preinstalled bloatware that's unnecessary, redundant, cannot be removed except by a professional such as me. invades privacy. wastes battery. tells you storage available. Battery percentage. Device tempature, wifi & data use. preloaded software. when updated, all permission returns to default and sends data constantly. Wastes ram. Tracphone support untrained and rarely understand apps, settings

Reviews of app doing weird to cell after download and update. I say ditto. never saw this app before, Itss like it's a pre installed one or appearing to be.. update 1x and been hell. local BULL ON. pre installed ? Just now it's on my cell after over yr Of cell used by myself only. (_CREEPY possibly very unsafe, bloat wear, viruses spying, listening,ETC.)are all key words you can find in many of these reviews. I cannot disable the app. I can silence the notifications however when i try to disable the app android shoots back the error "this app is required for your phone to work" Which is a outright lie. I dumped the apk file and went through it. Device pulse main function is to at regular intervals send cookie data in tcp packets to your server. So essentially most commentors are correct. you are spyware.

Don't see much of a use for this app. It is largely just another way to access information that is already available via the menu system or the 611611 system. I have been a very happy tracfone user for many years now, and the only feature that I wish they would provide is a notification when your data is getting low. But for whatever reason they don't deem that to be as useful to customers as duplication of effort apps like this one.

App just automatically added to my phone. Over 54MB space taken up on my small phone!!! Seems to be spyware. Can't uninstall it. CAN shut notifications off, it seems. Already have Device Health app (also installed w/o permission & can't uninstall), so this new 'device health" alternate app seems unnecessary. And it has bugs to be worked out. Oh, joy. Time to change carriers. I'm done.

Invasive, and not removable. Trash, tracking app that I have ever been forced to encounter. I believe it came with my new phone and is damn near impossible to fully rid it. Turn all permissions off. EDIT: upped the score to two. I missed that it comes with the phone because its a trac phone. I understand its customary now to come with an app for the original locked in service provide. I purchased this device and have no ill intents with the damn thing why can i not decide what apps I install

Edit: This app is worthless! I absolutely resent this being forced upon me! Cant uninstall. Have disabled and force stop but it keeps turning itself back on! Get rid of this app Google!! This app is awful! My phone runs slow. Calls are not coming through. This thing is constantly sending me notifications and i cannot uninstall it!

Garbage, can't delete or disable, clutters space, and literally updates all the time and notifies me constantly even after notifications are off... Seems like a lot of people are having the same issue and literally don't want or use the app, as it doesn't serve any of their needs.

Malware. Google "app removal without root access" to find out how to delete it. Edit: I'm not going to disable it, I'm going to delete it. Entirely doable, I've done it before. Final edit: it's gone, uninstalled it via adb. So much for "you can't remove it because it's pre-installed" I'm sorry to inform you that your unremovable app is easily removed using instructions freely available online. Reported it as malware, corporate spyware. I urge everyone with similar concerns to do likewise

Besides what others have said about not being useful, this app has updated on my phone twice in the past week and "coincidentally" one app (Next SMS) was removed and one stopped working ( Home Assistant) that works on a different phone. I didn't change anything about either.

Per Jupiter @ Google App can be disabled. I would like to know how to accomplish this when it does not have option to disable it in settings. Also, why does my screen change from dark mode to light mode then switch back to dark mode? App has to continuously connect for chat features to work. Why? When it connects upon setup, it should stay connected.

If there were a MINUS 10 option in the ratings, it would what this app gets. Cannot stop, cannot remove, it is preinstalled and just another way to be tracked. It is bloatware, spyware, trackware, and utterly useless to anyone but tracphone. Disgusted, and I am going to get another phone from another provider. Sick and tired of giving out info to people and companies that have not asked or let me know they were doing it. I feel raped. And I didn't even get dinner before, or a kiss after!

Device pulse says that my brand new phone only has a battery capacity of 76%. It's a false reading. My device care app says that a full charge will last me for 2 days and 2 hours. I had two other phones just like this one that unfortunately had software problems and had to be returned. And when fully charged all three phones gave the same battery life of 2 days and two hours. This is what the 5000mah battery offers. It was the same with all three devices of the exact same model and make.

3 brand new phones in 6 weeks all did model/brand melt, shock, smoke, from android 11 buikt in charge parameted, and flawed optimization. Moto g Power 2022, days old, misbehaving heat, screen shock. 109° Not on charge. I pull every blistwsre and optimizer off with adb except this software. Few hours later phone burning again, find all software reinstalled and settings unset. Log shows it started at 8am, same time call support. They use this to access. I will show uninstall now puto, try me.

I loose my mobile network everytime this app does it's final updates, tracphone service only suggestion is to reset my phone to factory specs, but every 2 days is redoculous. Tracphone sent this phone to me as replacement of my old phone. I monitored every app loading then checking phone. This app killed it 3 out 3 times. Answer to dev : not wasting another 3+ hours to go thru same routines, just to be told to reset my phone.

Can't even disable it in the menu. Connecting to a Windows machine, installing the phone's drivers, and installing the ADB binary corresponding to your version of windows will allow for uninstalling anything through Windows Powershell. Be very careful what you uninstall. Search for a reputable guide for assistance. The phone will work fine without this app. Regarding the dev response, the only fix is allowing users to uninstall. There is nothing more to discuss.

My apps shut down. Phones always hot if being used in any type of way. Not getting my notification for apps but worse I don't get texts emails etc when sent. Issues w making and receiving calls to where I'm getting hung up on cause can't hear me. My apps run so slow, they freeze along w my phone itself. It's been horrible since the upgrade !Nothing but troubles and stress.😡. My job includes using my phone, and it's hard to find my location and get clocked in when my phone locks up when it wants to, making it impossible to find my location and clock in on time!😬 Ever since the upgrade grade that exposed our phones to vulnerabilities that needed patched, it's been a awful. And shame on you Google..You didn't tell us promptly! I'm about ready to use only Samsung products......

Slowed my phone down. Will not all me to update apps. Phone calls don't always come through go directly to voice mail. Texts are quite often slow coming thru. This is a few of the issues. I have nearly deleted most of my apps that I have downloaded and if it continues I will delete all of my apps and just have a phone wit no texting. Just a basic phone. I won't even use google.
