Dexcom G5 Mobile Simulator

All I wanted was to download the actual app so I could use my phone as well as the received to monitor my blood sugar. When it downloaded it was a tutorial only, so I decided to try it. To my surprise is wouldn't open. What does a person have to do to get the real app, have a Droid phone.

I am SO HAPPY I found this app ! ! ! Since there's no Dexcom G5 app that I can load onto my archaic Moto Z2, I loaded the Simulator, the same way people would walk around in the 80s with a fake cell phone... they wanted to look cool. Thank goodness I have this app loaded, at least now I won't look like an idiot when I'm having dinner or impressing the ladies at my local 'Cool Diabetics Only' club. Brian, if you're still wondering what kind of moron has 2 thumbs and would put a simulator for his CGM on his phone.... This Guy I mean seriously, a simulator is better than no app at all, isn't it ?

my Dexcom G5 about a month ago my average was over 500 to 600 everyday Wade Slater I am down to average of 180. So far it's done everything that is supposed to do for me. I see a lot of bad reviews than must have got the bugs figured out I would highly recommended this to anybody that has a problem with highs or lows I just love the machine wanted Lifesaver for me. Thanks Dexcom for all of the help getting me started everybody that I've talked to seems really nice love dealing with you.

What moron would put a simulator for a program or app that you can't even get or is available. This is very typical of how Dexcom operates.

I can't sign in. When I tap username nothing happens. App is garbage if i cant even log in. I'm using a pixcel 2 phone

Doesn't even work on my Android! Had I known I wouldn't of got it! VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Obviously they are in some sort of agreement with apple. Google is just an afterthought.. supports old outdated phones and old outdated operating systems on Google. Called support they said they are working out the bugs .. I told them to maybe call Xdrip or go ask how they have made it work for quiet some time. It would be nice to use an official app from Dexcom. Give Google some love. Pixel XL user here. Pixel 3 coming can't believe how far behind they are.

Diabetics should stay away from Apple products... Apple has teamed with Dexcom to deny Android users full use of our Dexcom CGMs, unless we switch to Apple... The Dexcom delay in getting approval for Android phones is a consequence of their partnership with Apple... Don't let Apple succeed in playing games with the health of diabetics to line their pockets with cash... Tell Diabetics, their family, and friends to make Android their Mobile OS of choice in phones and tablets to protest these dirty tricks...

Download xdrip+ works with pixel 2 xl and other non supported andriod devices. Very disappointed dexcom does not support all andriod. Xdrip+ is a third party app and not in play store but it is a life saver. Do a Google search and see. When I upgraded my phone I lost my dexcom app. So far xdrip+ working better than dexcom app with more info

I know this app is non-functioning but it gives me hope you (Dexcom) are close to finishing and releasing the update we T1Ds with Android have been waiting and pushing for. If there is anyway in which I can help keep the momentum moving, I would love to assist! That said, so far this simulator app seems very good--clear and clean format; simple and easy glucose readings; and precise explanations with ease-of-use.

This is only a simulation like it said but on the website it said the Pixel is supported. Confusing. I hope they get this live in a full version soon. My wife has to use her super old Samsung right now. They support old phones old OS and technology you would think they would support the new better phones and OS right??

I love that I can use xdrip to turn my pixel XL 2 into a receiver for my dexcom, but I would much rather use the official dexcom app. All the demo stuff seems to be working great, looking forward to the real thing :)

Called dexcom and this is just a simulation. The Google pixel XL is NOT supported but the Google pixel is. Different chip set is the answer I got from them.

I just bought my Moto Force 2. I sure hope the Dexcom team are working on an app for us. I loved the app on my old phone. It was a complete life changer.

Still not a G5 app for Pixel phones? What a joke, Dexcom. There is a Reddit user that has a work around for this and I was able to get the G5 app installed and working on my Pixel XL 2. It's pathetic that Dexcom can't accommodate Android like it does Apple

The application functions well as a simulation to the real thing. Since this has released, I am hopeful that developers are working hard on a version that supports my LG V30 so I can ditch the receiver. Fingers crossed.

Why would let me test drive a Honda when you are selling me a ford? This is what this app is, tells you all about dexcom on Android, they tell you that there is an app you can download but it is only a simulation, I think there is a disconnection between engineering and sales department, or a developer with split personality. I wish they get their ducks in a row and fix the Android app since we are paying customers just like the apple users. Just a thought.
