Dexter - Lightweight Pokedex

Nice. I was still using the old dexter and I was wondering if you guys have an update or what then I learned that you guys redone it. I certainly like the design better than the previous one but they are both equally useful. Also, I like it that maybe some of the pokemon whose images are halfed are now gladly fixed here. I have yet to check them all but I'm sure they are.

Edit** I decided it was time to get rid of the app. It's been about 7months since gen7 came out and there's no updates with it. Very disappointing because I loved this app. I have used this app for a long time and I've been patient on it updating to include gen 7, and a year later it hasn't. Its very disappointing. I will probably give it a bit more time before getting a different app. But not much longer. :|

Only problem is when searching for multiple things like the example shown (hex, ghost) this seems to only work if the second move/ability has two words. For example I would have to search something like "scrappy, false " then a space and wait for the suggestion for false swipe. Other than that lack of tutor moves is a bit of a let down but otherwise good

This is a great app, very simple and easy to use, very very streamlined and informative as heck. Just wanted to mention, however, that Mega Altaria is mistakenly labeled as Dragon/Flying when the mega evolution causes it to become Dragon/Fairy (unique type combo). Thought such a serious error ought to be mentioned; other than this one thing, though, I'm in love with this app. Thanks app devs!

Its UI is clean and smart, its got a wonderful amount of info, Im particularly happy about the weaknesses part it makes playing against pokemon youre unfamiliar with much better, I definitely miss the previous version that had pictures as I loved looking through at my favorites in their Shiny form, but even missing that its still the best Ive found!

Whenever I search for anything or use the app at all, the ads within the application pan the screen from the bottom to the top lightning fast and make it incredibly difficult to utilize the app. It's very hard to explain, but it's a bug you'd think the devs would have figured out before releasing. The only way it doesn't do this is if I open it while my phone is in airplane mode.

This was my first pokedex app, and I haven't tried another one since. Everything is just perfect and gives all you need to know about your favorite Pokémon. I only wish ut would come out with generation 7 in the near future. Other than that, its amazing. Good on you Awestruck Studios!

I would give it 5 stars but no pics i cannot see any pokemon i dont like this pls pls bring the pics back i loved this app before very much becoz it has all the pics,typedex,movedex etc but now i wont have pics i will uninstall this app becoz it is of no use to me without pics pls bring the pics back and i will give it 5 stars pls bring the pics back i dont want to lose this app pls bring it back😭😭😔😔😖😔😖😥😥😦

It's a really good app and all of the information is extremely useful and helpful, and I especially love the team building option. However I really miss the pictures - I think they were one of the best features of the app and now that they're gone I have to resort to googling a lot more. I hope they come back someday...

I love this app. It's the most organized and clean app out there! It's has all the features one needs to become a Pokemon master! I could not recommend this app anymore than I have. However, why 4 stars? Most simply the fact that it's hasn't been updated to Gen 7. Because of this, mine and other's challenge to complete the dex has taken a halt or a turn to other apps. Developers! Please update this!

I love this app, and have been using it for years. It's very detailed and easy to use. My favorite features are the tap to turn shiny and the moves lists. I have never had anything negative to say about it until now. It has recently started glitching. It will not show the pictures of any pokemon. I've tried restarting it a few times and it worked the first time but now nothing. It's very frustrating because the pictures help me remember the names of the new pokemon I've never seen before.

I remember spending hours Trying to catch all the pokemon I could and marking them down on the old app.... And there was one more thing I liked to do.... Look at the pictures of all of the mons :/ I have 2 suggestions (because pictures seem to be what people want most!) 1. Find a loophole in Nintendo's copyright policy 2. Make custom PC box sprites to replace pictures- this will most likely take a while but will be GREATLY appreciated...

Im really sorry to say this but the information on the updated version is all wrong! Especially about the leveling up moves... I compared it to my brother's Apple version and his were the correct ones. I still like the UI very much though, but it's just useless if the information is wrong on Android. Please fix, thanks!

People who gave this less stars for not having alola are dumb. This app has been the best dex since gen 5 came out and aside from a few bugs every now and again its just fine. These guys take there time to incorporate new material in a way that works and they get access to this info just as quick as we do. To make a good update takes time, especially when a new gen is involved. It's by far the best dex app for your phone that I know of.

This app is great! It's neat, useful and easy to use! It has 2 problems, however. The first is that it is outdated, and the Alola Pokemon need to be added. The second is the lack of Pokemon descriptions. I understand that it may be tedious adding bios to all the Pokemon, but it will prove to be quite helpful- in my opinion. Other than that, it's awesome!

i love it for the most part. it gets the job done, but i do agree that you should be able to hide the pokemon you've already caught. separate from that, though, there seems to be a small bug where if you tap the progress bar on the caughtdex, the app crashes. i figure this should be brought to someone's attention. thank you for a great app

The new tick box option in the caughtdex should have an option where you hide Pokémon you haven't caught yet. The new teamdex with multiple teams is brilliant, but a bit clunky. Also ... PLEASE make it possible to search for moves by tm number. And preferably with an option to select which gen is being used

I would give 5 stars if this had pokemon images. The Q-Dex app for Windows phone is an amazing example of what this app could become. That said this still.seems to be the best pocketed app for Android.

I am a total Pokémaniac, and this is the finest Pokédex I have ever used. (Please note my use of é instead of e, it is not Pokemon it is Pokémon) Anyway, I just wanted to say well done, and don't worry about these gen 6 newbies trying to get you to add in a bunch of unnecessary stuff. If you know your Pokémon, you don't need to look at a sprite to know which one it is. This already has a lot of good info, but I like making suggestions too. 1 = Sizes. 2 = Footprints. 3 = Pokéball info. Thank you again!

This one looks bad, is hard to use and doesn't have hardly any of these iOS features. Update it.

This app makes it very easy browse Pokemon, find its weaknesses and strengths, evolution patterns and all with a beautiful interface. Definitely the best Pokédex app out there

Its great but could improve by adding gens to caught dex. Im currently playing gen one and i would like to remove megas from the list.

Era mi App favorita durante Poké XY. Ahora está totalmente desueta. It was my favorite app during Pokémon xy, now it's outdated.

Maybe you could add an item dex? It's a really handy app but maybe there could be a item dex that said what each item does. The item dex especially needs to have evolutionary stones. There could be lists saying Which pokèmon evolve with which stones. Just an idea. I love this app and its so handy when I'm playing Pokemon.

The app is very great and useful for when im trying to catch certain pokemon. The only bad thing is the sun and moon pokemon are not in it but other than that its a great app.
