Put in my car during purchase. Actually was added to my car after we agreed on pricing. Which increased the agreed monthly payment. Was told by dealer we put these on every car sold. However, a year later i find out you have to purchase an annual subscription. This is an ok app but a BS way for business!
I wouldn't even have installed except the car dealership *already installed* the hardware and charged me $695 for the feature. Can't get the app to run on Android 11, and with all the negative reviews, I wonder if it's worth the $89/yr cost. If it's just an app issue, the company does have a web interface. Did any of the one star folks get it working from the dFence site? If it works there, it would be less expensive alternative to VW Car-Net.
This thing is absolute garbage. Does not work!!! Do not buy you will regret it!!! It will not locate the motorcycle correctly or send e mails. I would rate negative stars if possible. The app was last updated in July 2017 that should tell you they don't support their product or up date it very much.
App quit working when my phone updated to Android 10. Now the app is useless! It won't arm or disarm our vehicle, can't find it vehicle either. I did upninstall and reinstalled the app. Please fix. Thank you!
So this was working great then my android updated now it wont work. Says cant find find device. I logged into the web interface and it located my vehicle. Then went back and reinstalled the app and now it's working I kn ow it's weird but it worked for me???
Just purchased thru a dealership for our 2020 vehicle and it doesn't even work. Complete waste of money. Still shows our vehicle is in our front yard when it is over 10 miles away. Yes it was set up per their instruction manual.
When I press the locate button on the app it shows my bike being 250 miles away from me....while I'm sitting on it. Called customer service and he couldn't understand what the problem was....REALLY!?!?
As of 5/14/20 the App is working good. Called customer service to get the issue resolved and they had it fixed the next day.
App doesn't work. Keeps saying unavailable try again later. Very annoyed!
why some negative comments? This app and device has given me piece of mind. Actually, the only criticism I have is the desktop based page. Perhaps if it had better instructions it would benefit highly. How much should you pay for piece of mind? Answer is any amount
Bloated app/device from Ford dealer which is usually inaccurate. Locator works about half the time.....what good is a GPS that usually has no idea where my truck is???
Is always giving me false alarms...goes off randomly at all hours.... wish I never installed
Not working on Android 10. Last app update was on July 2017...
This app is great, now I always know where my brother is when I lend him my car. I've even caught him taking my car once when he took it without permission.
Very poor ... won't work with my android phone.
How am I suppose to locate my car when the app Force closes everytime I do anything with it.
Once my Android updated software revision the app stopped working.

Garbage. Came with our new vehicle and sometimes it works on locating the car. Arm, disarm , and vehicle start all do nothing. Not sure why those options even exist if they won't work. No instructions available anywhere or a troubleshooting guide. Edit :looked at where it was installed and how it was wired in. No wonder it doesn't do what it says. It's simply zip tied to a wiring harness and then receives its power and ground from the dlc connector. Any thief is just going to unplug it and drive off with your car. Gotta love getting charged $700 for nothing.
Can log on with browser, but not with app. Tried email to customer service - returned as undeliverable. Fix it or lose customers!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. POS APP AND SECURITY. Never work very well. So You all know it was professionally installed and even the tech could figure it out. I called customer service back when they would answer the phone and got it fixed it worked sometimes after that and then crashed after uodate and hasn't worked since. That was weeks ago. BETTER OFF SAVING YOUR MONEY
