I loved this game when it was in those button phones, I guess I am missing that experience. Maybe at least bring back the old background music. Other than that I also don’t like the 'energy' concept.
Seems like a fun game so far. I don't mind that certain movements cost energy, it makes you think a little before moving. What I don't like is the adverts at each level. The first 2 levels were short and the advert was almost as long as the level! Edit. Even if you want to quit a level you need to watch an advert. Uninstalling
Ruined a perfectly good game that I played for countless hours when I was younger (10 or something?) by adding the energy system, food and ads. I get it: it's 2020, so this is the norm, and expecting different is naive, but if you copy a game and make it worse, the least you can do is add more functions to make it better, like more weapons, a strategy based minigame to get energy points or making it multiplayer or something... Other than this, the colours are great, and the graphics are nice.
This is so nostalgic, but I would really loved 2 things: 1. Keep the old graphics, old animations, old sounds. We want to remember the game not to play a "modern copy". I appreciate what you are doing and giving us this great memory tho. 2. The worst thing u could do to a game like this is to add the "energy" mechanic... I hate having to wait just to play a quick match, I wanna bring back memories, not cooking meals so my character can move a rock. That was the good things about the older games.
I like the game. But the problem is in refilling the energy. One needs to cook over and over and wait for long for your character to move. Secondly, at level 10 in angkor wat, I can't play it because I can't find the loop nor the exit. It's boring and annoying and now I'm thinking of uninstalling the game. Please you can remove some of the boulders in that grid lock down there so that one can pass through. I'm patiently waiting to see adjustments . I will check back tomorrow 9th Apr
When I first started this I had high hopes as the graphics were beautiful and well animated. Love the level style and the custom controls that you can place anywhere. I had originally deleted the game (some time ago) due to the unfairness of it. I'd thouht I'd give it one more try and behold, the balance has been restored! Its not too easy, and its not too hard! Thankyou developers for a flawless game! I will be happy to purchase things from you now!!
The position of the hammer button is really bad. I always accidentally tap it when I'd like to move, and lose energy or die. Unother frustrating thing is when I return to the game from another app, and the app was closed by the OS, I loose all progress. The game should be saved and there should be an option to continue it upon restart. By the way, it's one of my favourite games from childhood. I like to see it here :)
I like how this old game got revamped. I actually like the new concept of the energy bar. However, the controls just spoil the experience. If I slide too far to the right, I end up accidentally using the mallet and there goes my energy for smashing at a bush when I could have just walked through it or if I need to escape but end up taking a hit because of just one button. Reposition the buttons maybe?
It's absolutley beautifully recreated from the old diamond rush, which was my favorite mobile game from my childhood. One or two complaints - the arrows on the control pad are too small and close together and often you end up pushing the wrong one and losing energy from a snake etc. Or you completely miss the control all together and get trapped which wastes like 100 energy. The second complaint is that of energy, you aren't given near enough and it's taken away from you for almost anything.
I played this game back when it was available on the cellphone. Naturally, some aspects of the game make me compare it to its predecessor. I really loved the older version. Yet it fairly holds up to the android standard. The problem with this game, just like a lot of reviews have stated, is its energy system. A casual platformer as diamond quest (rush) doesn't need an energy system. Not a very serious problem but it makes it a lot less enjoyable.
This is a constructive criticism so please hear it out, please remove the energy meter, some levels are very challenging, it took a lot of my energy for me to beat some hard levels, and there are some instances that I need to recharge energy just for me to play again, because of the energy limit I can't fully enjoy and play the game successively. Thank you and stay awesome.
It's decent, as they tried to bring back some memories. But adding new things as cooking and energy don't make the game better. The game was interesting enough. About the controls, a landscape mode could've been a better decision for a bigger screen and a smaller area for the controls. The gameplay of this game is totally different from the original one, excepting the maps which are the same and that's a good thing but again as I said, it could've been done as the classical one, not like this.
Diamond rush is a great game, but this remake brings a lot of the bad freemium practices, such as ads and microtransactions, the new energy system is bad, it charges you energy even for moving rocks, and if you screw up but don't have enough energy to go back to the last save point, you can't do anything besides watching ads or paying money. It's a shame because it could be a great remake to this great game which many people remember really nostalgicly from their childhood.
I have been a fan of this gane since the day one ,was teally glad to see it in playstore. The energy level feature is useless and irritating .it runs out really quick plus this is a puzzle game ,you move on to next levels via trail and error . Its really infuriating that you run out if energy . If there wasnt the energy level feature the game would have been awesome
I last played this about 7 years ago. This updated version is really cool and all the new functions are amazing and it's truly remarkable to see how far its come but I miss the simplicity of the older version, as well as the old graphics and style. I downloaded this game for some nostalgia but I just don't get the same vibe anymore, maybe you could release a separate version of this but have it be the older version with some improvements but basically the same? A suggestion/request from me.
This game is so nostalgic I played it on my Nokia back in middle school. But you just displayed it so bad, I can't bear to play it. I could smell the rubbish as soon as the game requires a lot of energy to do stuff such as respawning, pushing boulders, OR HITTING THE HAMMER 🙄. Heck the game even told me I can't do anything w/o energy. 5 minutes into the game, reached the rising flame level (level 6) and died several times. Lotta ads, Not Recommended 🦀🦀
Even if your energy bar is full, it's nevee enough to complete a level. You have to watch like 10+ ads to complete one level. It would be better if the energy bar was bigger or the functions such as hammer, rope, or even swimming didn't take so much energy away. I spend half the time watching useless ads.
I really love this game!!! its my childhood memory from Nokia Mobile! I am feeling very good that i can able to play this game on Android instead of Symbian. But three things i didnt like is that the character design. It should have the retro style design and experience... also, the control is backdated in 2020. It should have swiping guestures or so.... and lastly, i really dont like that energy kind of thing... one life is enough for us... That's it, I love it!!!!❤❤❤
The energy system is straight shit and too much ads. Restart get an ad. Start a level get an ad. Finish a level get an ad. The energy finishes in 1 level and good food is very hard to obtain. The sounds are also pretty annoying. The character makes a yipee sound when you are unable to get back to checkpoint and have to lose 100 energy because no other choice left.
The game is great but I would have some improvement like add some sound to boulders, add the feature (this one is in the old game) that allow you to block damage from falling boulder. Let me explain:If a boulder is falling on top of you, you can hold up and block it from damage you(or take away energy in this case) but you can't do that if there are more than 1
This game bring me back to my grade school age. When Nokia phone are still the 1 provider of phone. Though I do hope that the orientation of the game is landscape as well as the game controller. Since its very hard to manipulate a game on a portrait orientation. On the energy part. I hope that using the hammer doesn't require energy or it maybe lessen the energy consumption.
It was somewhat fascinating no joke. I was really hyped when I found this on the appstore and rushly installed it cuz I can't wait to play one of my favorite old game. Level to level I passed it through with ease at first but the more I go, the harder the level to accomplish now since every actions to do requires energy. It's harder for us to manage a level without addtional energy I told y'all. This game's great but the energy system sucks.
Terrible experience! This could be a really really good game and can be very enjoyable, but energy bar rots your experience completely, it consumes too much energy in a short time because of which one can hardly Finish 1 level at once. The energy bar did no good to this game. It annoyed my experience completely. I like challenging games, but there's a difference between challenging and annoying. This game is 0 challenging and very annoying only because of that energy bar
Game is awesome reminding old memories. But health is an issue. Health is going low too quickly. Developer please fix this. Add some more health.
I played the original version of this game years back and it was awesome. I found out about this version from insta ads and I was looking forward to play this. But there are many things added which not only are worthless but also deteriorates the gameplay. For example the New version is for smartphones and should be played in landscape mode. Secondly the energy bar which is added is unnecessary and should be fixed as it keeps on emptying and kills the mood for the real diamond quest!!!
The original Diamond Rush was one of my favorite games from back in the day when phones played Java games. This is outright the same game, and it's really awesome going back to this old classic. The one thing I absolutely hate about this game is the energy system. It destroys the whole balance of the game. I don't know who likes filling pots with food and waiting for it to cook. This is not gameplay, it's a time waste. I'd rather watch an ad before every level than have to do this stupid cooking
Bad copy of ORIGIONAL DIAMOND RUSH. Sound effect is bad. Every step is copycat of origional game. Atleast some changes could be done to make it batter.
This game deserve a five star rating but there's a minor mistake it is the exact copy of the keypad mobile game. I bet you know it. It's not that exact of the keypad version, there are some upgrades made in the characters, resolution, features. Besides that it's very good. It's in-game features and resolution is quite awesome.👍🏻

I loved the game.. the challenges are hard and need alot of thinking.....we have to choose everything carefully..we even have to think before picking up the diamonds now....this game is very good ...I highly recommend everyone to play it....it's amazing and increases your IQ...so far till now it doesn't have any glitches or bugs or viruses
