Diaro - diary, journal, notes

So far so good. One of the best diary/journal app. There is some bug though. When Backup file storage and Attachments storage is set to SDCard, sharing of backup file is not working under Settings>Data>Backup&Restore. Clicking the share will return to Data settings. But the app is great and easy to use.

I have used this app for years and I like it. One thing I need to have is styles formating. Five Stars if you could bring these features up.... 1. Font, such as bold, italic, etc. 2. paragraph styles for emphasizing idea. 3. Bullet, numbering list are also needed. 4. Text Colors Thanks ....

Great app, very simple and flexible. Especially enjoy being able to create my own templates! 😊 Very peronalizable! 👍 You can back up pdf to Google drive. But no A4 paper size? Just letter etc... Will encrypt saves to SD card and Cloud, a very important feature! But only cloud storage available is drop box. The draw feature is bad and there is no eraser tool, just undo or erase all. So drawing isn't viable. The photo edit tool is decent with cute stickers and fonts etc...

I ♥️ diaro. It nearly ended my lengthy, disappointing search for the PERFECT journaling app but sadly there's just a few drawbacks that force me to keep searching. diaro features are best, BUT the design imo is just plain ugly, too clunky and outdated...aesthetics, I realize, isnt the most important thing, but..I just wish it was prettier. A minimal design with all these features would be perfect! I spend a lot of time journaling, so I want an app I LOVE looking at. 😔 Still, a good app so 4⭐

Great useful app! I just wish you could change themes and fonts for every entry. Each time you change a theme or a font, it affects absolutely ALL your other entries. It would be nice to have fonts change for every entry, and themes can be changed like maybe every month or every season. (I bought the subscription, so I don't have any ads.)

This is a fantastic app for journaling and well worth the price of the Pro version. It has pretty much every feature you could want in a journaling app. Love the Dropbox sync, tags, journaling stats, and "On This Day" features. Only improvement that's needed is in security. All of the journal entries are stored plaintext in an XML file that can be viewed outside the app by anyone who has your phone. Encrypting the data at rest would be a massive improvement. Hope to see this in a future update.

I've been using this app on and off for a very long time. So long, in fact, that I don't even remember when I went premium. I've tried other similar apps, and occasionally still look around for others, but none compare save for an app that no longer exists. Diaro is easy to use, looks good in light or dark mode, and gives the user the opportunity to personalize the app with colours and fonts. This is one of the rare occasions when I will recommend the premium version.

Update - I have just found out that this app also has the feature to read my entries aloud. Although, i dont really use this feature, but good to have... Question though, can i import from an app called my diary? This app is the only one so far that i can actually search the entries and highlight the word that I am searching for, not just take me to the entry. Good job. I can't understand why this feature isn't a priority for other apps. Their loss, your gain. Good Job.

Perfect. I haven't had any problems and I like the sync to computer. Makes it easier to take notes than it would my phone. (Edit) I was reading the reviews. Overall, the app is perfect but I think people would take time to use it more if staff remain professional when their product is critiqued. That's how products improve. That's just my observation. So far I've had no problems with the app. I also like the pdf back up and the cost. Relationship with customers needs improvement.

A Simply Wonderful app and have had it with pro version for what 8-10 years, and it has kept up with the times and technology. Just love syncing (quickly) across many devices and the Web version, and the at 'The Moment' adding and edit for tags and folders, right along with the entry. Really like the color tabs and backgrounds for setup of distinguishing folders and that time stamp. I've been using DiaroPro for 8+ years. I love how it shows memories from the same day over the years to see how my life has changed. I also appreciate being able to export the data and back it up. I use it on my phone and computer; having the two synched is great. This has been a great app for me!

Hello. Are the new emojis supported in this app? Because I can't see them. If not, it would be wonderful if you could make it so we could see and use them in our diary. Thank you 😌

One of the best apps. Only lacks markdown formatting text, image allingment anto backup ebery few seconds and vershoning. Howevr these can be ignored for the time being. In recent past the company changed lisancing terms and now the diaro professional is no longer available. This is very sad news. Markdown editing is still not implemented. However still this app is the best diary app in the market. But I strongly feel that lifetime validity option must be enabled again in licensing.

Ive been using Diaro for over two years now. I had a lot of diaries before, but none really fit. Personal reasons led me to continue using this app, and ive never looked back 😊. Its worth it.

Strongly recommended! This app is great. I've been using it since 2016, and had no problem with it, until recently, when I changed my phone and had trouble restoring my old backups. I only reported it today, and just 2 hours later someone contacted me and helped me solve it. They spared no effort in helping me, and worked with me through the whole process. The support team is very professional, friendly and cooperative. I've had an excellent experience with them.

Absolutely excellent diary app. It would be nice have a few formatting more options like being able to insert a line as a paragraph separator. There is a CRITICAL FLAW however - there is no option to require two factor authentication for Diaro Web.

Great app. Just missing one key feature. Cloud backup choices. The only choice you have for backups is Dropbox. If you want something else you won't find it in this app.

It still needs work on fonts and font sizes. But otherwise it a great app to have for journaling and writing other stuff down. However I wish that there were more emojis in this app in order that I can express my feeling a little better

As a journal ok, what I was expecting was a little more Diary type tools, being able to copy or move items to multi dates can be done, after a little searching. I am using the pro version. It did take a while to sort out what to do. But have enjoyed using it. Thanks.

Dear Diaro, The app is wonderful. I am a new user. I am using it from last 1 week. I have even compared it with other diary application. This stands out as it is simple. I log all my activities and thoughts here. I have subscribed to it. I will be requiring few features. 1) Record audio and save it as audio file 2) Record video or attach video of at least 5 minute and save it 3) Attach any other files other than video or audio or image. Eg. pdf or txt or etc 4) Support to sync to google drive. 5) Change fonts of text and color of text. Change background of whole entry or part of entry . Change background to image. Few queries : I have subscribed to Diaro using google play pass. If the google play pass subscription is over. What will be the charges annually and life time . Please specify in INR Great software to use.

After years of watching journal apps become better, Diaro is almost there. They need to allow entry dates to go back to 1500 (or even earlier) to allow the creation of (family, corporate, historical) timeline projects. Also, it would be nice if Google Drive could be used as well as Dropbox. Thnx for listening. (Edit 1 hr later... PC online web let's you enter a year before 1900, but Phone and Tablet App do not.)

Super App. Easy to use with sorting und searching function. Best there is. The only missing function is formatting such as bold, underline. Recently I had a problem and within the hour I got an answer and that is a very high standard and quite unusual.

Great app for Journaling but I am unable to backup my data either to drop box or SD card. Purchased Premium thinking it would help but it didn't. My notes are super important to me and it's important that I able able to back them up. Need resolution.

This is one of the best journaling apps I have tried. So why am I unable to give it a 5-star rating? Give users a choice of which cloud service to sync with rather than just Dropbox. Would be great to at least see Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive added as options.
