Diary Book - Journal With Lock, Photos, Themes

Fantastic App I love the option to add photos, tags and mood. I like that I have options to change font, font size and font colour. Simple to use and can be shared across devices and backed up to my cloud. Nothing about this app that I feel negative about. Thanks for a great app. UPDATE Is it possible to permanently change font size and include the title in this? Also, I had a bit of an issue today where my photographs weren't showing on a few entries but cross was showing to let me delete them.

Overall good experience with this app. I chose it instead of other apps I tried partly because it is simple while still looking nice, and allows me to save a PDF or text document of my whole diary. I would be happier if there were an option for the entries in the saved document to read from oldest to newest.

The app looks very nice and has some good features. One of the most important features I was looking for in a journal app was voice dictation. Unfortunately the voice dictation in this app is basically useless as it only works for about one sentence before it turns off. The ads are a bit obtrusive as well but I understand that I can pay to have those removed.

EDIT: Dev sent me a code to be able to use the app without the ads, and now, this diary app is perfect. App has a lot of options, tags, moods, fonts, themes, ability to add photos and voice notes, etc. Well done. I really do like this app, it's my favorite journaling app I've used, however, the ads are absolutely ridiculous. I'm close to going back to a mediocre app just so I don't have to deal with all these ads.

Very good overall. Easy to use and broad variety of very nice font choices. Minus a star for loud sudden ads that suddenly blare out. They are so noisy I get a huge jump and almost drop the phone! If you're in a dorm like me, and you forget and make an entry at the end of the day, you might startle your roommate, or get into trouble after Quiet Time or study time. Other than that, this app works well.

It would be good to give users the ability to decide how many lines each entry should be shown on the home screen. Right now, it's 5-6 lines max before I have to click on the entry to be able to see the whole message. Also, it's annoying to have the popup reminder shown on the screen if I want to save an entry after each edit! This remimder pops up after every time I press the back button. If you can configure the diary to save the entry automatically after the users press the back button, it would be a smoother experience since the users do not have to press "save" after each edit.

After working with several diary, journalling, and logbook apps, I believe this is the best for my needs. It's very easy to use, and it has a lot of features which regular users can explore and enjoy. One thing I'd like to see is better search results. If you search for "happy" and the word isn't near the beginning of your entry, you'll have to open the entry to see the context. Disclosure: the developer provided me with a promo code so I was able to evaluate the app without ads.

Nice Design and layout! I really like the different theme colors and the night mode. It makes the app look more sophisticated. Adding multiple pictures are great. Adding the calendar will be very helpful. The app would be near perfect without the ads. They are so distracting and instrusive on the bottom and when they pop up on full screen. Also adding the option to sign in with a general email account like yahoo will be appreciated as an alternative to backup your info.

This is hands down the best app I've ever used for notes, journaling, anything. It has excellent tagging and filtering that is simple. It has shareable and clickable url links. It has multiple images per entry, super simple and seamless. I love the fonts. Highlighting (which needs a bit of tweaking--if it is re-edited, it has a tendency to go to white instead of the original highlighted colour) but is nonetheless awesome, and all the formatting options one could want, easy and accessible. ❤ it!

If you are looking after someone in lockdown during the Covid-19 outbreak, you can use this for noting when you get their shopping, when they've paid you, and how much they owe. Plus details of all the other phone calls they make to you and how you've responded. You can also attach photos of shopping lists and receipts. It's perfect for the job if you are looking after only 1 person, but to look after many people, the tag feature needs to be enhanced, so that tags are visible in the list view.

Does pretty much everything I want or need except the default text size is a bit small. An option to make the default larger would be great. Still, it's far better than others for me. Now I just need to find out how to pay for it. One note though, in "night" mode you get a dark gray background with a dark gray cursor. Makes it hard to see where you are in the entry and makes for a lot of correcting when you put stuff in the wrong place.

Absolutely LOVE this app! As being an artist, I love the customizations this app includes. I love having a variety of colors, formats and styles to choose from. I've paged through tons of other journal/diary apps, and sampled many of them. None of them that I've tried so far have satisfied me quite like this one. I do wish the color theme options could be adjusted though (different shades). And I wish the mood options came in a list of written choices, instead of the wide range of emojis.

I have decided to use this diary even tho it doesn't have as many customizations as another one did because the PDF of the diary entries keeps photos at a good size. Just bought ad free, Don't know if was before and I didn't see it but can now use a few more fonts, font colors, and highlight, and, i tested the pdf and it kept text colors (plus photos still big enough to see). This app is a "keeper"!

this is a well-designed app. it is light weight yet packed with essential features useful for anyone looking to record their daily thoughts. the night mode in grey is easy for the eyes. but i personally prefer black instead of grey. the entries color can be customized. the dates entry can be changed so you can input your past notes or thoughts too. and it also allows you to either cloud sync or local backup. certainly take a look at this app if you seriously looking for a functional diary app!

using it for more than 2 years. It has really simple interface but excellent writing experience with color. Very often, I write down my thoughts and necessary notes immediately. Searching option is good, sticky bar of each month is great but I need an option in calendar to manually go any date so that I could easily navigate my old memories. Surely this app require an update. Thanks 🥰

What I love: you can change font style, add text effects, photos, tags, mood, change theme colors, use night mode, and sync data. Only con is you cannot write entries for past dates. Still, this is a nice, simple, and straightforward diary app. It really allows you to focus on writing.

Basic version: An ad starts almost every time I touch the screen. Lots of irritating flashy videos everywhere. I get that ads pay for developing the app but they are everywhere and it's so annoying and distracting. Sorry but this approach to the user doesn't make me feel like paying for the premium version and seeing if it's better. I'm uninstalling.

I am overall thrilled with this diary book. If there was a way to select more than 1 picture at a time to post to my daily page, it would be wonderful and 5 stars. Saying this, I am pleased to be able to post any pictures to my day, as the last journal I tried had that feature, but it did not work at all. As far as the ads go, I ignore them so I can't say what the content is. lol

I like this app. I've been using a voice recorder to make diary entries but this app lets me speak them instead which means I can search the text to find them easier. it seems like a very intuitive user interface and the search capabilities seemed very powerful. it is low on system resources and has a very clean user interface.

Perfect. Just what I needed. It is simple to use. Can compact and when you need to read more of a spesific topic it opens up. I started to apply some notes and afterwards added photo's. IT WORKS PERFECT. I would like to have the same app for another section of my items to save. Could please assist. I have switched phones and lost ALL! my photos. Please tell me how to get it back at each inscription.

I really like this app, it does all I need. Rated 3 stars only because, I don't mind ads but recently every time you click a page there is an ad popping up. There were never this many previously and now it's annoying. I don't wish to purchase the ad free version...just seeing less would be great!

It works astoundingly well for an app that doesn't require payment for the most basic of features and I've totally recommended it already. However, if I'm giving it 4 starts it's because this issue doesn't allow me to enjoy the app to the fullest. The text is too big and it distracts me. In the moment I have an option to make the text smaller I'll give it five starts, since the app really deserves it. I hope any of the developers sees this and could fix this issue for me. Great app still.

I really like the ability to add lots of pictures and export entries as PDFs as well as the backup with Google drive. However, I do wish there was a Callender view to select days. I also am unsure if it brings up past entries to remind you of this time last year, if both of these were added I would be very happy!

Please let us specify a time period option before locking the file. Currently it's locked as soon as focus is switched (e.g. checking a message) & is a bit annoying. Also, as said before, a true black mode (like amoled black), and a fix to the PDF export function (doesn't show emojis & non-Latin characters although TXT export is fine) would be welcomed. Thank you.

This is a super great diary app. I love that the app itself has a pass code. I love that you can tag your entries. Everything is just so clean and organized. This app should come as a default on phones, its that good. I wish there were more color options- like tagging each entry with a choice of color. I wish when I tagged my entries there was a list of recently/commonly used ones so I didn't have to remember how I tagged things before. I'm not sure if there's a search by tag option anyways?

for the price paid I would like them to have extra features, like adding a button that would take the user to the last place they were at rather than having to scroll through potentially a bunch of entries. also let them know they have reached the max words on an entry before it crashes! not everyone uses uses a new "page" for a few lines of texts.

This is a good diary app. It is feature rich. The only problem is, it doesn't allow different fonts to print. You need to allow the font in the app to be printed in at least PDF format. I've used the app for the last 3 weeks, no real problems. The ads don't try to overtake your device. The app is very useful. May I suggest go ad free. It's that good of an app., and the price is right.👍👍
