Diary - Journal with password

I love the app! I have always been a Journal person, I try to write at least a little each day. This app is so convenient because now I can write an entry whenever I have a few minutes, right on my phone & the password option is fantastic!!! However.... its a little slow at times and I've experienced a few crashes and completely lost the entry I was working on... Overall, I still give it 4 out of 5!!🙂

Ok, I know what you're thinking: so many other diary apps, why this one? This one is much more informal, organized and simple to use than any of the other diary apps. Some other apps have lined paper and syncing, but it just makes everything a lot more complicated and messy. If you don't lose your phone your data will never be lost. Also, don't worry about the ads at all! Just turn off your volume and they wouldn't distract you a bit!

I just down loaded the app and at first use, I'm very pleased. There are many colors to pick from and a wide selection of fonts. That you can also incorporate your photos appeals to the creative and whimsical side of me. I am disappointed there is no screen rotation (in the works or I missed that button?) as I use a key board with my tablet. Is there a version available without all the adds? They are a bit disctracting.

As overall experience, I am satisfied with this app. It is easy, does not have so much ads, and I don't need to buy certain premium packages whatsoever to get some extra features. So, it is convenient. I've already wrote so many things in here. But, I only have some suggestions, it would be so much better if the fonts applied can be differ in each posts, and the fonts maintain when I export the post in pdf, and the pictures does not need to be cropped.

Tried out a few of these apps and this one works for my needs. I have a galaxy s7. 1. Autosave takes place without me having to hit the save button. 2. You can save your writing to a pdf or Google drive. You can also print. 3. When editing, the page jumps but will correct self when you resume writing. Update: The save feature needs to be moved to the top of the page. Currently, to access it you need to remove the keyboard. The page "jumping" when you try to edit an entry should be fixed.

This is the best diary ever! Everything can be adjusted to your preferences in the settings - background color, language, font style, and font size - you can even add pictures! There's also a password, which is cool! You can also have reminders and turn your entries into PDF, and this is honestly the best diary app. There are ads, but they're small and they don't pop up, so it's not really bothering me (I don't even notice them.) I love this app, thank you!

This app is very easy to use and excellent app with no complaint. This app also has full respect for privacy. but just one flaw which outweigh all its excellency. If I change my phone, what will happen to my saved data or saved diary entry? Please guide as there's no feature to the same. If there's no update or guidance on this, then I am changing my phone cos writing your deep thoughts and losing it, it's waste of time.

I love this app. I usually use my note pad on my phone but u never can type how I truly feel. Just because of privacy. This app gives you that. Lock screen to make sure nobody can get into it. Also you can pick how you want everything to look.i haven't had any rouble with it yet. I hope not to have in the near future. I wish we can maybe add like small clips of music to it which would be so helpful but the app is amazing. Definitely recommend it to my best friend!

Great for writing down ideas and keeping secret info private. One of my favorite apps. I do wish it was organized in folders like Dropbox. You have to scroll through every entry to relocate the one you want to edit so if say I wanted to show someone one of my book ideas and they're sitting right next to me, they see everything. Also it would be nice if I could have an option to lock said folders with additional passwords so certain stuff could be guarded even better.

For the most part, I love this journal app! i really love the feature that gives you the option to choose what day you are writing about. So if on Tues. August 13th you want to write about your day from Sat. August 10th, you can choose Aug. 10th & the entry will be saved for that day! I also enjoy adding photos! And the fact that you can save it to a PDF is great. The only thing i hate is that if you leave the app without saving, it deletes everything 😢 It should auto save! Please change this.

I appreciated the password lock, and the ability to completely personalize the look of the app but the HUGE downfall is the lack of auto-save. In the event i have to switch over to another app or take a phone call, my entry does not get saved. My entire entry was deleted and it had important information. When the developers figure out how to add an auto-save feature, I'll reconsider installing this app again.

It wasn't too bad except for the fact that if your screen goes black during an entry it doesn't auto save, so you lose everything(which happened to me) after partially rewriting it the app froze and I was unable to press the save button so I lost the entry again; needless to say, I uninstalled it. The other erksome thing is that the keyboard icon hangs on the right side of the screen and follows as you write so it gets in the way every so often of seeing your words as you write.

Essentially, this was the best thing ever until it wasn't. I loved it, used it daily, private, pretty, all I needed was a diary and it delivered. However, forget your password and you are screwed because years of info are locked inside and the password reset option doesn't work. I have contacted support but heard nothing. If I could get in then I would rate it way higher :(

Someone mentioned that if you open another app while writing in the journal, it will not save what you wrote. I agree, it's very annoying that the app doesn't just save automatically and if someone calls you while you're writing, your work is gone. I've made it a habit to save very frequently but would love if I didn't have to. Another thing that annoys me is that when trying to move the cursor to fix a typo the page scrolls upwards and you can't see the word you want to see. But still like it.

Cute layout, mostly user friendly app. However, I got hit with an ad within 10 seconds of using the app, when I clicked to another screen I got hit with the exact same app AGAIN. I'm going to still give it a fair trial but if the ads keep up as they've been I'll be deleting and using a different app.

This app helps me vent my emotions well. There are a good selection of emotion choices but I wish I could select more than one at a time or a "mixed emotions" choice. I love the add a photo feature. It would be awesome to add some sample questions to help get the feelings out for those who have a hard time putting their thoughts into words. Awesome app! I hope updates come soon

Where is the Convert to PDF button? I've been using this app for around 2 years and I love it! Usually, after a few months, I convert the entries to PDF and save them outside my phone, so I can print them and have a back up. But now, after 5 months of writing, the button is gone! I cannot save what I wrote anymore! Please help!😓 I love this app so much.🥺

I love all of the features along with the whole little setup of this app, but after awhile typing it gets sooo laggy. I typed one word and it took 7 minutes to actually be shown on my screen. I know that it isnt my phone because this is the only app that my phone lags to like this, other than that the app is incredibly fun with stickers that you can put for your emotions while your writing your diary page, and you can add pictures from camera or from gallery, but very great app so far, I love it

this app is great. you can set a password, give each writing piece a title/name, and you can add pictures if you want. it works great and is the best app if you want to let out your secrets but not tell them to other people. it is also great just to experiment and write stories. or maybe even hide pictures!

This is an amazing app! It's easy to use and you can customizer it anyway you would like you can add a password change the colour and the font of your writing!! You don't technically have to use it as a diary you can use it for notes such as shopping list, to do lists and many more! Love this app!! Amazing job :)

This is a great app! The only reason I didn't rate it five stars is because sometimes the app randomly closes, making me restart the app and then my draft doesn't save. But it's probably just because my tablet is so old. Also I wish you could click multiple emotions for one entry. Otherwise this app is super easy to use and fun, so I encourage you to install it!

The only reason I don't rank this five stars is because it has the issue of freezing when I have anything else running in the background. On the other hand, I'm grateful that my files were restored after they had been deleted, because I regretted deleting everything from this app when I lost the PDF file of my original entries. This diary has been my best friend for six months.

I would have at least given a 3 star rating, since I do like the app, but all the issues mentioned are still happening. If you don't bother to read your ratings and find out what the issues are and fix them, then the app isn't worth rating well. One user was correct in stating there just doesn't seem to be a good affordable journal app out there. Twice now, I've lost entries because I had to leave it suddenly, and forgot to save. It should at the very least have an autosave feature.

Absolute fail... It was simple, I loved the layout. It worked fine for the longest time and all of a sudden it freezes once I get into the app. It softlocks basically. I can't do anything, I can't even write an entry or get through settings.
