Diary with lock

Good, simple app. Fits the bill for simple journaling. The fingerprint lock is great and it's really easy to use. It's more than perfect for my needs. There are however 3 drawbacks: 1) the backups are not automatic and they are not encrypted/password protected, 2) the mood indicator always defaults to "happy" with no way to change the default value, and 3) it's not possible to set a time on the entries, which makes multiple entries for a given day displayed out of order.

I have been using this app for two years now and I appreciate the constant updates lately too! Especially with the improved "search" function! I wish though there was more granular and specific controls to view your emotion graphs for the entries, for example I love how I can view how my emotions was from the graph by going back "last year" but it would be cool if we can put a specific date, to see the graph for a particular month and year. Would love to see this feature added, thank you!

Well this app is better than the others. Other apps are complex and too girly. So, this one is good.. Also, there is a lock system WHERE if a person tries to open your Diary and fails for 2 times (you can choose the number of times), then it captures the culprit's face... This is the best feature... Only problem: We can't insert any pictures in our diary... Please try to fix this... then it will be better if I could insert images of my experience of the day.

This is a good app, and I feel a bit mean-spirited giving less than five stars. However, there is room for improvement. Firstly, the fingerprint security is great, and the intruder photo capture is clever. Functionality is good, although users can't change an incorrectly date.. this creates a new empty entry. The name, Diary++, doesn't suggest its great security feature, and the icon could be neater. I would like a templates option, with prompts about things to remember mentioning in each entry.

Just installed a few minutes ago and I already love the app. And even though you don't need to I went ahead and got the premium (only $1.49)just to remove the ads. I do have a suggestion for the app. The option to add a photo to the days entry. Still an awesome app. Had to get a new phone and I had no problems transferring the entries. Was wondering if maybe in the next update you could add an angry emoji

App is good and worth using. It would be better if ads are removed. Two improvements: 1- Date navigation should be improved. If we need to search to ready entry for last year, we need to navigate 12 times. 2- When we select second grid to select particular date to read the entry, content of that day is displayed at the bottom of screen in two lines and it's difficult to scroll down to read the text. When the date is selected, the resultant text should be displayed in full screen.

Excellent! Initially the ads are disruptive but after just half an hour of using the app I had no hesitation in paying for the premium ad-free user experience. It is not overloaded with features I don't need and those that are implemented work flawlessly - various lock options, Google Drive backup and restore, etc. The interface is pleasant. I find the five face emoticons the optimum - no need for any other. I am really impressed with this quality product that matches my needs perfectly!

I like the app and the lock capabilities. But you cant put pics with the diary. I have pics I'd like to put in the diary. Also you can't send songs to your diary from like YouTube that would be awesome if the app did that. It does not have those features is why only giving it 4 stars. And I don't think there is a diary with those features. Other than that it is a great app.

This is a very nice, straight foward app, perfect for what I need. There's a lock, and you can change the settings. (Backround, font, etc...) The one thing that's annoying is the fact the words don't line up with the lines, though I may be able to fix that with a different font/fontsize.

This app serves its purpose. Although, I do not consider this a diary but a journal. Overall, it is simple yet perfect. I like emoji icons. It helps me with rating my emotions. Smiling being the best and crying being the worst. I like to document good and bad parts of my life. It is therapeutic. I love seeing my emotional progress. Thanks!

Ease of use, Simple interface are the main benifites and plus functionalities I experienced so far in this app. It doesn't satisfy all the needs you want. Such like change the font size and style while typing, add additional notes, time periods. Otherwise the app is good for use.

Good app does what it's supposed to. Ads weren't too bad but the ad free price of 1.49 is nice. The mood plotting doesn't work in this version. Don't like forcing to have a title and the title always all caps.

When compared to other apps of this kind. Very few are like it. You usually have to pay for all the features you get with this app. It makes writing fun. Its a good way to look back and improve yourself. All while having more freedom and options than paid apps. I guess it was paid at some point? I didn't have to but I guess it was 1.00. Which is totally fine with me. Developers like this are awesome and rare that keep the people in mind with affordability and a great product.

Great app, SUPER ANNOYING ADS!! I've messaged the developer by email, suggesting that he consider an ad-free trial so that users can get a feel for the functionality of the app. Ads are too much, literally every time you do anything. And they are video ads with loud sound, which fire many will make then uninstall the app. I tend to diary last thing before bed, so an ads like this are a deal breaker. I purchased for $1.49 to remove ads, since it's a really good diary. But most will uninstall.

Amaxing, it is very simple (and not to girly) and I love simple. It's very creative to show your chart of how you have been feeling lately. I know I said it's simple but it has like a cool design to it. I love how it gives you the option to make a pin/pattern. You could really tell this app was well made!

Privacy issues. Yes, the app can only be open with fingerprint or face, but the last screen is preserved in Android's app history and some of the entries are readable (at least on my phone...). It would need clearing the screen before exit.

This is a great app. There's only one issue for me, whenever I click save sometimes it won't take me back to the main page. So then I have to fully restart the app to get back to the home page. It's a pretty minor thing but is pretty annoying.

just started, I feel like it could use a little work but as far as diary apps go (I've used a lot of them) this ones definitely got a decent amount of features. paired with the fact that it's pretty cheap to remove the ads (they're a bit much but it's a free app they gotta pay for it somehow) its definitely worth it

Like it however, it doesn't allow the user to add images (that I could find). The price is right with (no subscription), and a good layout. Otherwise would give 5 star.

1. Though there is free ram available, app reloads everytime I reopen it from recent apps 2. In horizontal view, when I open old entries, the app tries to save it again and again though there are no changes from my end. In vertical view I didn't face this issue, we have an edit option when we open old entries. But it's not the same with horizontal view.

Enable Format your notes using bold, italics, strikethrough, underline, align, indent, out dent and text highlighter tools. Be able to Add hyperlinks, data tables, lists, rulers, quotes and codes to your notes. The notes in the journal be organized by names, tags and dates. kindly let it Support inserting photos and text and also auto numbering

Lovely app! One point to be made- once the theme colour is changed to something light, the options on the settings page almost disappear. Also the entry pin characters cannot be seen. Based on the theme, the default letterings should be corrected to a darker colour.

Exactly what I needed, an online drive where I can save my daily experiences. The old method of writing on paper no longer appeals to me. This is a great App! Thanks to the developers. Only one problem though, it takes a long time to backup my entries.

Changes Suggested: You need to make the program be able to change on roation to a hoizontal view. Currently you can only see the diary in vertical view, This is pretty unconfortable when using a tablet. I have a samsung Tab A and the program won't let you view it in horizontal view. Thei s view is practical when using and external keyboard.
